I had to confirm that she was referring to me. When I addressed the issue, she attempted to justify calling me "whoever." That is dismissive and unprofessional, especially in a healthcare setting. New systems do not replace basic customer service, courtesy, or respect. Staff should properly address patients and wear identification. Please do better.

They did not see the prescription in their system, went back just before closing and they still did not see it and seemed not to care. The prescription was for a common antibiotic and I showed them in MyChart that the doctor had input it as well as the doctor's name. No concern they would not do anything. I asked for one pill for the evening as prescribed and the problem could be resolved in the morning. No to doing that. Had it been a narcotic they certainly should not do it but no excuse for not doing it with all the information available. CVS culture is not what it use to be.

I had taken my Grandmother to her primary care physician for alarming symptoms that could have potentially turned serious if not treated urgently. She was Prescribed an Antibiotic After several hours of waiting for her former Pharmacy, C** to obtain the prescription electronically I was told it would still take a couple hours to fill. At 5:30pm, C** called to inform me that the antibiotic she required, Cipro was out of stock. (Why they didn't tell me this from the get go is beyond me) Needless to say I was in panic mode! I called Daniel's Pharmacy around 5:45-5:50pm. I knew they closed at 6:30pm and this was probably a long shot but I was desperately trying to find the medication my Grandmother needed! (My Grandmother is almost 90yrs old). WOW, Daniels' Pharmacy is Amazing! My only regret is not switching her to Daniels' Pharmacy long before now. They took the basic info I provided and contacted her previous Pharmacy to retrieve the Rx along with her Insurance info. They had her Rx ready by 6:10pm. A Prescription filled that fast is usually unheard of, obviously not at Daniels though. WOW, Daniels' Pharmacy is Amazing! My only regret is not switching her to Daniels' Pharmacy long before now! I thought I was in a big city while visiting this great local store/pharmacy!!…read more While visiting Sylvania Georgia, I suggested we stop into Ross Drug because it looked much larger than a pharmacy. I could tell it offered more. But I certainly did not expect to find the most incredible array of gifts, decor, novelties, penny candy, toys, men and women spa specialties and cocktail/bar items. There is even a gift wrap area and a UPS shipping counter. As I wandered around we started talking to this handsome man in scrubs. At first I thought he was a customer but learned he was the Pharmacist and Owner of this business. He was very personable and chatted about vision for his store. In my mind, I pictured a Hallmark movie where this young Pharmacist relocated to this small town and a happy story ensues. The actual pharmacy counter was very busy. It looked to be running very smoothly, given the fast moving crowd. The locals were all very friendly as I wandered around. I am seriously impressed with the very cosmopolitan feel to this store on Main Street in this tiny town.

By 10:30, someone who came after me scheduled for 10:30 was present and received their shot on schedule, in and out. I don't know if the pharmacist in charge is just a poor manager of his staff or lacks the ability to direct his staff to remain on schedule, but this was the worst display of service I've seen in a very long time. It may be a lack of proficiency from the rest of the staff as well. At the end of the day, i can confirm that the team at the front counter didn't even check online to see if my wife was in the system. They took a printout, confirmed her name wasn't there and treated her like someone new. I addressed the leadership and they did NOTHING for us. I'll review both the store and the pharmacy. The store is well-organized and the staff members are pretty friendly. I have never left this store without finding what I was looking for (I don't always buy because their prices don't always meet competitors). The pharmacy definitely has some problems. Part of the problem is that there must be a pharmacist on duty in order for the pharmacy to open. This Walgreen's seems to lack enough licensed pharmacists so it is sometimes closed without explanation. I've had really good luck and really bad luck with the staff. Some are super friendly and some are super rude. There doesn't seem to be an in between. I will also say that this Walgreen's does not seem to stock a lot of prescriptions regularly. I've had to wait more than a week for my prescription at times. I'm not sure that this store is much different than any other Walgreen's store.

On more than one…read moreoccasion they have helped to facilitate prescription adjustments to better align with our insurance, and when prescription medicine hasn't been available, they have suggested over the counter alternatives. I feel known, valued and supported. Highly recommend for pharmacy. And if you are picking up in store, be sure to look for the orange shelf price stickers that indicate significant sales and clearance -- I have bought many an item because it is too good a deal to leave behind.

There was hardly anything on the shelves, to include basic necessities such as milk; the store was pretty dirty, the signage was not accurate, and I was never asked if I needed help by an employee. It's also not the easiest store to find parking at, nor to enter or exit. In all, I'd go to a different grocery or convenience store rather than this one.
