It is also conveniently located near popular ski resorts like Okemo (3 minutes away) and Killington (30 minutes away).

Dog beds, leashes, collars, food (both high quality kibble as well as raw), cat food and toys, you name it, she has it! As you walk in you can see her wall of clients and ribbons and awards from her own dogs who also happen to roam the store. It's nice and cozy and you can ask her any old thing, she can help you! She also runs a small but nice doggie daycare in her building. Your dog will be treated like a star! Don't forget she can groom them too... let's just get everything done while we're there. We live in Brooklyn and got our first dog this summer. #pandemicpuppy From the start we realized we…read moreneeded a lot of training and we went through a thorough research and interview process to determine we wanted a board and train program. During this process we conducted consultations with several trainers throughout NYC and when we finally connected with Anna we were impressed with her extensive knowledge of dog training that was far beyond what we had encountered with other trainers. Anna has a three pronged approach of positive, corrective, and relaxation techniques which is a much more holistic approach than we encountered when we interviewed other trainers. Anna's focus on relaxation is different than any trainer we interviewed or worked with which teaches dogs how to exist in a calm state, which becomes homeostasis. This is what we wanted most with our dog so that we can all peacefully coexist together. Anna's home and dog training quarters are in a beautiful setting with a gorgeous view of Mt Ascutney. There is a lot of open outdoor area for the dogs to learn off-leash skills and to have exciting distractions such as goats and other dogs. Having a calm, natural setting is a benefit which is allowing our dog to master foundational skills without other distractions. However, because Anna knows that we will be brining our dog back to the city, she has taken our pup to busier areas to work on training with other distractions. After 10 days we met up with Anna and our dog to get some training transferred to us and it was like meeting a different dog. Our dog has already learned great leash skills and is able to be around other dogs and people without becoming overly aroused. She is immediately responsive to all major commands. Anna is also working on house training issues and helping our pup to learn to go outside. Initially our dog wasn't able to go outside because she was becoming too distracted when we were in the city. When we dropped our pup off she was newly recovering from being fixed and Anna's background as a nurse made us feel more at ease knowing that she would be attentive to her healing. Anna's depth of knowledge and clear instructions with us has already helped us learn so much about how to engage with our dog. We are so happy we found her services! I'm surprised that there aren't more 5 star reviews here that sing her praises. Thank you, Anna!

Best vet practice we have ever been to and that is saying a lot because we are originally from CT…read moreand we used to go to this very large, modern, state of the art practice that had every bell and whistle you can imagine. However, what they lost over time with their huge growth and building expansion was a personal touch, full transparency (my husband was very surprised to find he could accompany our dog to get his blood drawn when typically at other practices they take your dog away to some mysterious place you can't see) and a fantastic team of assistants and front desk staff. Every time I call, I am greeted with such personable, knowledge folks who can often answer my questions right on the spot with sound gudance and advice. And Dr. Bob is a gem. He gives you information that is understandable, usable and direct. Just what I want in my vet. My dogs are both well cared for by Aeolus Animal Hospital and Equine Center. It's a bit of a drive for us to go there but they are worth it. Thanks for the great care!

Took my 9 y/o cat there as we had recently moved to the area. All of a sudden he had started…read moredropping weight. The people at the clinic were very pleasant . They took blood and did an exam, but said they were not sure why he was losing weight. They scheduled a dental for him in case his teeth were the problem. They also gave him an antibiotic shot. They mentioned he wasn't very compliant with the exam. At this point, my cat has gone from 20 pounds to 11 pounds, very quickly. They scheduled the dental for two months away. Uncomfortable with watching him look like he was dying while waiting for the dental in 2 months, we took him an hour away to our old vet. They palpated (no mention of lack of compliance) and found a mass in his abdomen, confirmed it with X-rays and 2 different vets both concluded it was likely cancer and he was in the process of shutting down. We didn't come home with him. In future we will continue to drive the hour to our previous (current) vet. I will add that they did communicate well. They followed up via text to see how he was getting on, which was good, but I'm disappointed they missed an abdominal mass, esp on a cat that was sooo skinny. I'm sure they'd be great for vaccinations etc.
