The skills these guys had and their extraordinary attention to safety were like none other. They had my tree cut down, ground the stump, and cleaned up impeccably in 4 hours. Amazing. No debris is left behind. Put my fences back the same way having to remove them to get the equipment in my yard. I highly recommend this company. We bought our home almost 2 years ago now and still hadn't managed to do much with the front yard…read more We got 4 different quotes for a decorative retaining wall for the front and side of the house, a tree circle and 2 mini walls on the opposite side. Winkler's came in more than a thousand dollars cheaper than the other quotes and we didn't have to skimp on the bricks that we wanted. We crossed our fingers and signed. The work was started almost right away and while we had a few delays because of this awful "Spring" weather, the work was completed quickly and it looks fantastic!! We didn't need to be at home for the work to be done and they cleaned everything up once the work was over. We have gotten a lot of compliments from the neighbors! I was so impressed with the work that, being the romantic that I am, hired them as an anniversary present for mowing services. So far, they have cut the lawn twice and they do edging/bagging/the whole nine yards. Very happy with the mowing service as well. To put the icing on the cake, today we got an email from the owner. This tree service doesn't deserve it's 5 star rating. The owner Dylan Bland, told an elderly…read moredisabled neighbor he could revive his dying elm by attaching fertilizer pouches to the trunk. This failed to do the tree any good at all; actually might have hastened its demise,but Dylan Bland didn't hesitate to charge and retain$500:00 of an impoverished person's money for a cheap fix that was doomed to failure. He also allowed his company to be weaponized by a spiteful neighbor who was compelled by the city to remove dead limbs that would fall over power lines and cause a loss of power for many neighbors.This neighbor demanded Bland run a heavy boom truck over a waterlogged portion of his yard for the purpose of killing the root systems of the next door neighbor's trees and shrubs. Bland eventually had to use the driveway because he couldn't drive his truck through the mud although he spent an hour trying. He should have insisted on using the drive or refused the job but that would require some professional integrity.

And another nearly-dead trunk leaning over power lines. Of course. I was able to get a quote within a few days, substantially less than other companies quoted, and I was impressed with images of their previous work. They were punctual, polite, very careful of our property (fences 100% undamaged! VERY careful when removing my grape vines from the trees to be taken down), did not try to convince me to cut anything extra and in fact recommended I leave one of the hackberry trunks as well as a big deformed limb. I was worried, Mr. Lowderman reassured me that they were safe to leave! Even our dogs thought the guys were great! I was even given some free advice on managing some saplings; what I should remove and when I should do that. I just haven't any complaints of any kind about their behavior or the service they provided. They went above and beyond my expectations. I will HIGHLY recommend them to anyone needing any tree work.
