Whenever there was a problem on the job site and we needed her, she was always there. Her attention to detail and making sure the house was finished to perfection was outstanding. I wish I could build another house with her! We had such a great experience with Cheri that we decided to use Brick Owens, Landscape Architect from NSPJ for our landscape design. We didn't feel we could tackle it on our own since it was such a big job. He too was easy to work with and came up with great ideas for our different areas to keep them interesting for us all year long. And he let us cherry pick the best ideas from 5 different plans to make one plan that we really liked for a major area. Now that particular area is the show piece of our yard. Really they are both fantastic and both my husband and I had a great experience with them and anyone else we came into contact with at their firm. I enjoyed especially the fact that they were both so personable and easy to exchange ideas with and that in the end, we got both the house and landscape that we dreamed of.

They did not show up when they said they would making it difficult for us to let our dogs out on our 20 acre property. The worse part of the story is that the retaining wall does not "retain" and when it rains, the wall shoots out water. We sent the Project Manager a video of this but he failed to respond. I would have given them 1 star but they did replace a tree they planted (because it was the wrong tree). Very disappointing service.

He did not listen to us at all in regards to what we wanted our backyard project to be. It took 3 months to get back the bid and it didn't look like what we described and showed pictures of. He did tell us in the meeting that he didn't agree with one portion we'd wanted because he doesn't like what it looks like. He also informed us he won't build things he doesn't like. It's OUR money. Not his to say. We hired another company ASAP and they started right away. Our neighbor was using them so that is how I decided to try them. But then our neighbor told us their project had taken over a year to complete. Typical contractors stuff: not doing what they claim they will. Find someone better and a company that is owned by a respectful person.

To avoid the winter of mud we asked for him to start in March, 2021. When I hadn't heard from him by Early Feb, 2021 I reached back out to make sure we were still on. I called and emailed for three weeks with no response. Finally, Karl Hying called as the "new" Production Manager. After chasing him around for a couple weeks finally got him to look at the job again. Apparently Eric quit or was fired and no one picked up his inbox? After the "reassessment," we were slapped with a revised bid $52,000. We turned down multiple companies and will now have to start over on bid collection. I wish I could attach the bid to my review. It is insane. Apparently this person thinks I don't have a general scope of the project to know he is $30,000 over on his bid compared to the other three companies that bid the work. Save your time and call a more professional company with less turnover.

RUN DON'T WALK! IN ONE MOWING THIS COMPANY RUINED MY YARD AND LEFT GRASS CLIPPINGS ALL OVER MY 3…read moreDAY OLD MULCH! When hiring them I had 2 requests. One was that they not mow clippings into the new mulch. The second I explained was that the mower needed to be set on 4-4 1/2" because my yard is on so much stone that it dies if cut short. NO PROBLEM HE SAYS. First cut was 3". Grass is now yellow as is the mulch because the clippings were all over the mulch. Spin marks from the mowers turning so fast and more. So I called. Finally left a message because no one ever answered and cancelled with them. PLEASE DO NOT COME BACK! Guess they never relay messages because the mowers came back and got pissed when I told them to leave. Did not even blow clippings off the sidewalk or mulch. I asked the office girl to send them back or I would file a complaint and she said "Do what you got to do" WHAT WOULD YOU DO?
