A Promising Start with a Disappointing Finish:…read more Honestly, I'm hesitant to leave a negative review, but I feel it's important to share my experience, which ultimately led to a three-star rating for this flooring company. I truly want to provide a comprehensive explanation for my rating, so please bear with me. They came out and did our floor in a screen room/porch, it had squeegee marks and buildup of top coating in several areas; it just did not look good in a lot of areas. I believe the problem was Dave had two new guys on the job that did not know what they were doing, along with the fact Dave was always looking over his shoulder to tell them what to do(he disagreed, even though he told me they were both new this week and his regular guy was on vacation) Dave said they would come back out and sand out all of the imperfections and re-coat the top and it will be fine. We were heading out of town for a couple of weeks, and he was going to do it while we were gone. When we got home and saw it, some of it looked better but it still did not look like a five-star job. I contacted him again, he came back out to see, and he offered again to rough up the top, re-flake it this time and add a new topcoat. Along with grinding off an edge were the topcoat bleed under the masking tape (see pictures) when they recoated it the second time. He also said the edge would look like it was ground off next to the existing concrete, and I agreed. Then after about a week of looking at it and wondering if it was the correct way to go, because if re-doing it once the way he did, how is re-doing it a second time going to be any better by just adding another layer of flake? So, I called him and this is where it went bad. I tried to explain to him my thoughts and he got really argumentative and I could hardly get a word in. I asked him if he could just take it back down to the concrete and start over, reminding him, his web site says "100% Satisfaction Guarantee". He also told me that he has never re-flaked a job and put a new topcoat on before. I asked him how can he say this is going to take care of the issues? He said I should trust him, I said that's what you said the first time. Please note, I got his name from a friend that had his done by Pelican, and it looked great. Which is why I decided to go with him. My opinion is, if he does a good job the first time your good to go, but if it looks like a amateur did it when he gets done, good luck getting it corrected. It's his way or the highway!

We called Jonny Spliker and with in 48 hours had a reasonable and fair estimate for a new metal roof. We signed the paperwork on Friday and they were on the job Monday. The workmanship the team displayed was outstanding. The crew was friendly and respectful at all times, they completed daily cleanup. They completed the roof in a timley manner, and had all inspection paperwork completed with in 1 day. Our new metal roof is beautiful. The other company when we finally got the bid was 20,000 more for less quality roof, then what Spilker gave us. If I ever need a roof again there is no other place I will call. Timely, fair, beautiful workmanship and great communication. When we called or texted with Jonny he ALWAYS responded with in a few minutes. We have had several roofs put on here in Florida and have never received the service that was given by Spilker roofing and crew.

My husband has spoken to people multiple times when calling in and they say someone will come out and no one ever has. When we originally got our pavers put in they looked great but upon further inspection, we realized that they are slanting down towards our house. So now even with the slightest rain, our back porch floods (which connects to our house door). We will never use this company again. Especially with living in Florida all of the hurricanes that we get, it has ruined our backyard. We are concerned it will eventually flood our house because of how slanted they are. I wouldn't recommend anyone to use this company.
