The finish on the front wall began to fail within a month with multiple cracks due to improper prep work. They came out once to try and fix it and did a terrible job. We called JJ Stucco to repair the failed stucco work. They did a fantastic job and there are no cracks. I wish I had called them first to do the entire house. They are AC company start out and now transition into home repair. We were affected by Hurricane Michael, Cat 5 on Oct 10, 2018. Trusses of the roof was damaged. Project manager, David Porter hired criminal on site manager proceed to demo the Entire house to the studs without any permission/ consent from us. Our roof was pulled off by a truck with rope tie to the back of the truck, causing damages to the front face of the house, windows were broken. Wires, appliances, toilets, cabinets were all gone without consulting us. (Almost criminal work) We only agreed to do just the roof only, however they took upon themselves to remove EVERYTHING! Now, they are telling us it is due to lack of communication. But the lack of communication cost us numerous amount of money to repair the house back to the state it was. There were no mold in the house. Also there were no cover of the roof when they removed the entire roof, causing sun and rain exposures for weeks. We wrote letter to the company, but no response. So, I will say this company probably shouldn't be in business at all. If I were you, run away! And the employees should go ahead start look for other jobs elsewhere. CEO Kirk made the most careful estimate of the four we obtained. He spent an hour or more on his initial visit, looking all around the house and lower roof. He discussed with us the areas where the roof surface would abut stucco and the possibility of rot under the foamed decking. He came back with a long ladder to inspect the upper roof. After we signed our contract, the job started on the scheduled day. Foreman Miguel and the crew were courteous and were careful of the house and grounds, covering any places that might be damaged by falling debris. We had a torrential rain one day early in the job, which caused a leak in the unfinished roof surface. I discovered the leak after dark and called SealTight. Kirk and two of his crew came out within the hour. They inspected the attic and located the source, placing a fan to dry out the insulation and drywall. Then the crew went up on the 2nd story roof, in a steady rain, to apply a temporary patch to a long section of valley flashing. Kirk was back several times afterward to check the attic and to eliminate a stain on the bedroom ceiling. While at work, they reinstalled some insulation that had fallen down, unrelated to the leak. When they began work on the chimney, the sheathing was rotted where water had intruded, probably when the chimney pot blew off in a hurricane. Photos showed the rot extending nearly halfway down the chimney. We had the option of just closing it up, but chose to have the upper chimney rebuilt. Kirk brought in scaffolding the same day. There was no need for a subcontractor, the crew doing the stucco work themselves. (They also did extensive stucco work along the garage roof edge where it met the house, installing a high flashing over the junction.) In spite of three rain days and the chimney rebuild, the job was finished within four days of the original estimate, allowing us to leave on a scheduled vacation knowing that the roof was finished. The result was truly beautiful. We are confident it will be "sealed tight" and insurable for at least 20 years. We recommend SealTight Roofing Experts to anyone who wants a roof job done to the highest standards.
