Family eye Care of Woodstock Illinois (same owner, same business) charged a contact fitting fee…read morethat should not have been assessed. At that time I raised an objection, because I had never paid that fee in five years with the same insurance carrier. They now fully admit the mistake, but are offering no remediation. They advised me to call my insurance carrier. This is not their problem to fix, it is the optometrist's office. I have made now, three attempts to rectify this. Once while present, twice via phone. They are refusing to refund the cost that they fully admit we should never have been charged. Comically they suggested that I should have known that we shouldn't be charged that fee. I responded that I did know that, that's why I objected in the office, when it was presented. Once the circular reasoning starts, there is no point in continuing a conversation. Keep your money. I hope not having returning customers is worth it to you.

I am 59 years old and have had the misfortune of having doctors most all my life that didn't care at all. I have paid many doctor bills and walked out feeling frustrated that they done nothing and that they didn't care about my health. I am in complete amazement and gratitude and extreme happiness that I have finally found a doctor that cares about me. Dr. Hall spent so much time listening to me carefully is if she truly cared I could see it in her eyes she did so many tests on me that I haven't had in years because no other doctor cared. I cannot even begin to tell you what it extremely awesome doctor this woman is. I may Oher my life because the testing she did is going to give me peace of mind and hopefully knowing that I am OK I don't have to worry anymore. I pray to God to find me a doctor and I believe she is my answer. I am truly in tears because I thought I would never find a doctor that cared even generally patients these days are treated like cattle while the bill generates. There isn't even enough stars for me to grade this woman she is heaven sent. Thank you aurora health systems start hiring such a fine person. You are truly lucky to have her treat her very well. Rushes through taking care of someone. She does not have a good bedside manner. This CNA was pulling on family member's limbs causing pain and distress to the patient. Not sure wherr she was trained but she pretty much sucks. Would give ZERO stars if I could.
