The atmosphere is really nice and the staff was super friendly. The manicurist seemed very undertrained. Applied oils and lotions before gel polish which is not typical to ensure polish stays for at least 2 weeks. Only provided basic filing and cuticle push back. The quality of polish application was poor. It was uneven, didn't cover the whole nail in certain spots, and was on my skin afterward. I didn't realize how poor the polish application was until after I left. I probably should have gone back in. I may try here again for the med services but would not come back for nail services. After reviewing their page, it appears that they don't have specific nail technicians and their staff provides nail services when they aren't doing hair. read more

I hate leaving reviews like this but that was the worst wax appointment I've ever had. I have never left a wax with lingering pain and discomfort like I did today. My initial booking experience was very confusing. While I did have to call back with updated information, each rep gave me different times and availabilities of services. Once I would agree on something, they then said it wasn't available after they told me the times. It makes me think they were looking through a physical appointment book vs a system. Then I get a call back to review a cancellation policy? I assumed I would just get an email with all of that information. I asked if I could get a confirmation email with the policies, however, they do not offer this? For an upscale salon/spa experience, these days, having a digital communication system with email, text notification etc. is pretty much expected for a Spa like this. On another note, it is also very strange that I had to call several times to be able talk to someone, it's like no one is available to pick up the phone. I went for a gel manicure, no hand soak or lotion at the end but it still cost $60 plus tip. My no chip started coming off day 3. That was a disappointment. I had a haircut here last fall by Julie, and she was fabulous. You know when you walk into a hair salon and size up the person who's about to cut your hair? If they have winged bangs or a poodle perm, you want to scream and run out the door but you sit down in their chair anyway... and know you're in trouble. This girl had the chicest hair I've ever seen this side of the Mississippi and an attitude to match. I knew I was in good hands. I didn't have a picture to show her, but my hair came out EXACTLY the way I'd envisioned it in my head. Perfect. I got so many compliments that day.... *sigh. I hired Clear Waters Salon (Lake Geneva, not Williams Bay) to do my/my bridal party's hair and make-up for my Oct. 22, 2016 wedding and was BEYOND pleased with them. They were professional, friendly, fun and on time -- actually, they arrived EARLY to our hotel on a Saturday! We scheduled an 8:30 a.m. arrival and they got there by 8:15 a.m. and were ready to roll. Most importantly, the entire team was incredibly talented at hair and make-up. I had Elizabeth as my personal stylist. We met about a month before the wedding and did a hair/make-up trial that put me at ease to know I would be happy with her services on the Big Day. But she did an even BETTER job for the actual wedding day than her already fantastic trial run. Elizabeth has a sweet and calming disposition, which was so nice to be around on a stressful wedding morning. Everyone who saw my hair was floored at how cool and beautiful it looked. And it held up all night! Even through lots of crazy dancing. I gave Elizabeth examples from Pinterest and she was able to mimic them and even improve upon them. As for my make-up, I was going for something that looked like me but a little more glam'd up. Elizabeth did exactly that and I was so pleased. The make-up also stayed on the entire night. The rest of the stylists did a phenomenal job on my bridal party's and moms' hair/make-up. And they were so efficient! I can't say enough good things about this salon. I came here for a pedicure for myself, mom and daughter. This place was okay. Ambiance and the actual location and design inside was very nice, the pedicure itself was okay. Two of our pedicurists were not very friendly, but maybe I am used to chatty, outgoing nice ladies that seem to genuinely want to get to know you. I was greeted by a smiling reception who got me set up in the very comfy back waiting area for a scented foot soak (included with my massage!) My LMT, Mackenzie, was on time and asked me how I like my massage pressure and other preliminary questions. The massage was one of the best I have ever had! I would know since I myself was a LMT. I told Mackenzie this after my massage was over. Her sense of touch, flow & transition and overall attention to my problem areas ( and there are many!) was exceptional. I've been going to Julie for color and cut for about two years and was happy with her services. When I checked in for my last appointment, I told her I wasn't sure that I needed color, but she encouraged me to go ahead saying that she was booked solid and wouldn't be able to do it later if I decided I needed it. When I checked out, I was blindsided by the cost. It was $248-almost twice what I usually pay. She explained that she painted some highlights around my face in addition to touching up my roots. The additional process was not made clear to me nor did she mention the upcharge. I felt taken advantage of. When I asked for clarification of the charges, she suggested that going forward, I needed to let her know my budget! Unfortunately, there won't be any "going forward." I just can't seem to catch a break at this place. Its one thing after another that goes wrong. I can officially say, i will not be returning to the salon. Went a few months ago to get my hair colored. I have dark brown/med brown hair and said i wanted to go light brown. After my hair being stripped, and toned, i left with orange hair. I called and asked to have them fix it. They agree.However, i couldnt have it fixed for another two days b/c the girl who did (ruined) my hair wasnt in until then. I went back after working two 12 hour shifts at work (humiliated and getting strange looks) only to have her re-tone my hair and it still looked orange/with a little brown in it. YUCK. I had to go home and use a box color to fix it. Thank God i emailed them to inform them of my experiance and they refunded me my whole payment. .... i left the tip included. Sooo.. i thought i should give them another chance... not with hair though. My Mom and I went in for a girls spa day. I should have known better. My mom had an appointment for a pedicure and i was going to do a light chem peel. I laid down on the table in the back spa room and informed the clinician that i had been in the sun 11 days ago. She took one look at my skin and said she wouldnt recommend me getting the chem peel. I understood (but was a little bummed) so i went back out to the receptionist desk and grabbed their spa menu to see if i could find something else done while i was there. I asked if i could get a massage, they said no one was there from the massage dept. that day. Okay... So then i said how about a hot stone foot massage. I figured i could sit with my mom at the pedicure station and chit chat with her. They said the stones were not hot and no one was there to do the foot massage either. Okay... They offered a pedi but i had just had one, they offered a facial but i didn't need one. Thats fine.... So i sat with my Mom, got nothing done ( i really tried to spend my $$$ there but it seemed they didn't want it) My Mom and I left and headed over to the Abbey to get cocktails to unwind after our strange experience at Clear Waters... I had a gift cert of $50 to use and i had driven 1hr and 30 min to get to LG and didn't want to go home with out using this gift card or a spa service. So i called back and made an appointment for the next day to get a hot stone massage. I went today and it was THE WORST massage i have ever had. I actually wanted to get up in the middle of it and leave. It was like my brother gave me a massage today (can you imagine). It sucked. The pace was bad, the pressure was slim to none, the massage its self was barely there. The stones were just skidded around my body with some oil or lotion and that was about it...ahhhhhhhhh so frustrating. To sum it up. A few of my friends and I were in town for the weekend and decided to do a spa day with deep tissue massages and pedicures. When I called to make appointments, the woman on the phone was super nice and helpful and easily fit us in. We arrived at our appointments and were welcomed at the front and then taken back to get a warm foot soak before the massage. It was very nice. It was then time for my massage and I was brought into the room. The woman who did my massage was very sweet. I really wanted to love it but I did not receive a deep tissue massage. What I got was a Swedish Massage. I wasn't even expecting her to go super deep but I would have liked more pressure. I wouldn't have complained about this if I wasn't given an option when I made the massages. I paid more for the deep tissue and that is not what I got. After my massage, I got a pedicure. It was nice, nothing different than any other pedicure I got, but my feet are smooth and my toes look nice. Overall, it's a cute salon and spa. If you are looking to just relax and you aren't picky, I would recommend it. If you are specifically looking for a deep tissue massage, I don't think this would be the place. read more

Her work in coloring and highlighting my hair is one of my favorite in quite a few years. She assessed my hair and made great recommendations. My hair is soft,glossy,shiny and the color is amazing. She also cut my hair and took the time to take out some of the weight ( which I desperately needed with my thick hair) and the cut is very flattering and will be easy to style myself. I brought my mom there last week for her birthday. We started in the waiting room where we had a complimentary foot soak and was offered water, coffee or tea. We each had a 30-minute facial which also included choice of a hand or foot massage as well. Candace did an amazing job on my facial. I had never had one before and it was very relaxing and my skin felt great when she was done. I do not have the name of my mom's esthetician, but she also did an amazing job. When I was waiting in the hallway afterward, she came out of the room where my mom was and even complimented her for looking great at 74 years of age! I would highly recommend this spa to everyone. Went for a couples massage with Ingrid and Olivia. Absolutely spectacular! We loved how quaint the location was, and although we walked into a loud studio salon, we were escorted to a quiet relaxing room prior to the massage which was able to calm us and begin our "zen" mode. I had Olivia for a Swedish massage and she was great. She worked on some of my problem areas and also spent time on everything else. My boyfriend had Ingrid for a deep tissue massage and was blown away. The 75-minute massage was certainly worth the slight extra cost. We will come back again!! read more

I had it looked at by a doctor along with 2 others I questioned. Jo was right. It was the spot she was concerned about that is the one requiring removal. I used to use them ALL the time for skin care services. I LOVED the girl Alyana (I would give her 5 stars) however she moved and is no longer there. Because of my amazing service with her I did not give a second thought when I booked them for hair for my wedding. IT WAS HORRIBLE!!!! By the time my bridesmaids got back to the hotel, ALL of them had to have their hair re-done. Hair was falling out, some of it just looked thrown together. Thank god one of my bridesmaids was a hair dresser. It set my whole wedding day back. As it took us 2 extra hours to get ready. In addition to this, the owners were rude. As if we were not good enough to be at their salon. I will not be returning and I would tell any bride to find a different salon if you do not want this same experience. read more

My mom and I was treated very poorly here in August. The receptionist booked our appointments incorrectly at 9:50am and they were apparently scheduled at 9:30 am. We were treated very rudely by the staff at arrival, they made no effort to accomodate us and we paid full price for our massages despite only getting 30 min of service.
