The 2nd time I take my dog there they call about 30 mins after they start grooming him and say he is bleeding from his genitals and they cannot finish the cut or bath him. Which was understandable. I then go to pick up my dog to take him to the vet and they only accepted cash or check so I told them I would bring the money to them after his vet appointment. They told me that the I owed $80 and to bring him back at a later date so they can finish the cut and bath him and I would just pay them for the bath and rest of the cut. I went to the bank and withdrew the $80 even though I thought that was a crazy amount for half a cut and proceeded to go to the vet. My vet then tells me that my dog has trauma to his penis area. They were unable to say exactly what happened but said it was fresh blood and it recently happened. So my mother in law tried to call them twice and explain what the vet said and state that we feel we should not have to pay due to the circumstances and that they should pay for the vet bill as well. The place did not answer the phone. I then get a call from a police officer asking why I did not pay for the service and I explained to them what had happened and the police officer said to handle it basically how I already am and tell her that I am now stuck with a $113 vet bill due to my dog having to get antibiotics and a shot for the swelling. The owner proceeds to tell me that they vet couldn't say exactly what happened so she is not paying the vet bill. My dog was not injured when we dropped him off. He was not bleeding. He didn't not hit his genitals on our car (like the owner gave as an example for the reason behind his trauma) there is a video of him before the cut not bleeding and then pictures of him bleeding after he was on their table and the cut has started. I do not believe they purposely harmed my dog but they also did not handle the situation professionally and own up to my dog somehow getting injured while on their table. The owner would not even call me to speak about it she would only message me on Facebook. Very unprofessional. They are also the ones who took these videos and pictures. We never felt rushed. We chose this clinic because they are AAHA accredited, Cat Friendly certified, and independently owned. Their in house lab also allows for same day blood work results, which was important for our 17 year old cat. They were upfront and very fair with pricing. The facility is very clean and adequately staffed. 100% would return again and highly recommend for anyone with a senior cat or geriatric pet. Very thankful we found this vet.

We adopted a 13 week old puppy Saturday. She was breathing heavy and threw up and had diarrhea from…read morethe time we got her home. We thought it was nerves but it progressed to bloody constant diarrhea and struggling to breathe. She has become more and more lethargic. Took her to urgent care vet Wednesday when we couldn't get her in with a local vert, $1100 later (not the vets fault) they diagnosed her with severe pneumonia, WBC over 4000 (should be under 20), and 2!! Parasites, one of which is transmittable to humans. There is zero chance they didn't know she was sick and if they didn't know, that says they aren't providing adequate care. Connie answered the first time I called Thursday morning and promised to "get back to me" but she has not returned the call or answered myself or my husband's phone calls since. This poor baby is on antibiotics, dewormer, and probiotics but she is just getting worse so now we are in the animal hospital with her and we are rapidly losing confidence she will live through this. We will also be on the hook for an unknown bill while they try to save her. We have learned there is no governing body over rescues so there isn't even anyone to report this to in order to prevent other dogs there from ending up in the same position or dead. Tootsie had a litter mate there, Tia, and if you adopted her, you're gonna want to talk to your vet about checking her for parasites. TLDR:: This could have been prevented with appropriate care at barely used pets and they are not responding to calls. Have a whole lot of money in savings if you're adopting from here cause the vet bills will keep rolling in. Absolutely unacceptable. only gave 2 stars because there is still room for them to make this right.

They had like 20 puppies in one room with also a full grown dog.. unorganized for real. But no one and nothing will convince me that this shelter didn't know those poor babies weren't sick. I called and let them know so they could at least call the people who adopted the other puppies to keep an eye on them.. she didn't sound shocked that one was dead when we told her what was happening.

The first kitten they gave me to hold began to purr immediately and climbed up my arm and sat on my shoulder. She smiled at me from the carrier in my car and slept for the entire 3 hour drive.
