I have a pet peeve about people parking on the Pacific Highway (I also have HUGE problems about our ridiculously laughable Pacific Highway - but that's a whole other issue). When you consider the cost of the highway, it's the expensive parking around, not to mention it clogs up the already overrun road. Especially through Gordon. Oh boy the road rage I've built up waiting for people to reverse park (reverse park!) on the highway outside the Gordon shops. Grrrrr!! Double Grrrrr when you factor in there's a perfectly good car park just around the back. DRIVE AROUND THE CORNER YOU LAZY SODS! Whoa. Ok, sorry. Just use the car park instead of the highway, ok?

This is particularly the case with the walkway from the station, which provides easy access to the facility. It is also rather easy to navigate, which is also quite beneficial. Sure, I'm not really a big fan of shopping centres, but this one was rather nice.

The place is quite extensive and has two very large buildings that are over two blocks. The pace wasn't too bad today and although I did get lost and became disorientated when I left from a different exit I still managed to buy a bargain. I love the after Christmas sales and yes they still exist on the 9th January! Watch where you park. There are several entry points for the complex and parking ranges for free parking from thirty minutes, to two hours to three hours. I always head straight to the top and make my way down (a good principle in life...although you have to be careful on whom you tread on the ladder on the way up as you might come across them on the way down! ha) Yes this is a great shopping centre.

This is the nearest shopping centre to my work and I am pleased it is here. I have had the pleasure of having students work in one of the fast chain food outlets that he did very well at. All the buses go past from the Ryde area to the beaches. It is a clean and friendly place. It is busier during the morning and mid afternoon. Most shops close at 4.30pm so it doesn't stay open late.

Was searching for Apple store and chanced upon this shopping district…read more Parking was easy and it was free as there wasn't any parking meters or parking tickets to be hassled with. While strolling around, noticed that there is a cinema on site which had a few arcade games (time crisis, racing games), a store where they carries snacks & beverages as well as a small "cafe". I also noticed a food court and where it had a range of takeaways/dining options ranging from western food to asian fast foods. Tried sushiya and it was delicious. There are quite a range of departmental stores here. Decided to make a visit to Target to get "Bobble" water bottle and realized that this target is much bigger in size and range to what the Parramatta one has to offer. Service was friendly too. Walked up and down the whole three levels to see what other things the stores carry and there are quite a few gifts stores around and some other electronics related stores. There are two kinds of escalators here - one of which pushcarts could be used or the normal escalator. Service was also considerably well at the stores I visited. You could find a range of vending machines or slot-in coins for toys machines here. There are also a few cafes where you could sit and enjoy the atmosphere. Do make a visit if you are around.

Unless you get there earlier in the morning you will have to wait for a desk to become available. While the library isn't the biggest in terms of space and amount of books, it's still pretty decent for a local library. A major plus is the free wireless internet. I would often bring my laptop to Gordan library while studying for my university exams. There are computers available if you forgot your laptop or don't have a computer and are free of charge- you just need to sign in when you get there. Book drop points are located outside the library which are open when the remainder of the library is closed. There is plenty of parking at the back of Gordan shops, otherwise the train station is close by.

When stepping onto the grounds, you feel a sacred spirit. This is one of 3 Baha'i Temples I have…read morevisited. That sense of peace is prevalent every time. Though I do not practice the Baha'i faith, I admire their approach. They honor several religions by reading from those texts. They also honor science, hand in hand with faith. The grounds here are gorgeous. I love to find a bench and spend some time in private meditation/prayer. You will be approached by someone who wants to explain their faith. After multiple visits, I have never found them to be rude or intrusive.
