Not a good start to.my Saturday…read more I have just started using Asda rewards, & not too sure how to use it. Visited Handsworth Sheffield, the lady on the self check outs was so rude, & spoiled my day. 3 times she said " I haven't got time to show you. Go to groceries, which I couldn't see. I felt embarrassed & patronised. I then told a Manager, & the the reply was, " she can be a bit abrupt sometimes" no apology. They're usually hilarious as they try their best to flog you bags of carrots and the like for a whole 2p less than usual.

This is my favourite supermarket, anywhere!…read more The quality of goods in Waitrose is far superior to that in the bigger supermarkets. Many people are put off by the price, but you get what you pay for, and if you can afford it then it really is worth paying the extra. They price match Tesco on a wide range of items, and they also sell a selection of John Lewis home furnishing items. They do a reserve and collect service which is separate to the Ocado home delivery service - look at their website. This particular branch is nice, clean, spacious and friendly. It's well located just off the northern side of the outer ring road, just off the A46. It has a petrol station but it can be dearer than others in the area, and there is rarely any problem parking. If you haven't been, give it a try - especially in the evening when there are always fabulous bargains to be had on short-dated items.

It's…read morealways very busy, and sometimes it's a trial to simply get from car to store safely, dodging traffic and trollies. It's one of Tesco's smaller stores, so you won't find a clothes section, and some of the ranges are limited. There is, however, a handy pharmacy inside, which is open 8am-8pm most days. One thing I particularly like about this store is that it carries several ranges of international foods, to cater for the local population. There is, for example, a Polish section and a Chinese/Thai/Japanese section - so it's a good place to pick up some more unusual foods that you may not otherwise try. The prices of these foods are pretty good too. Despite the smallness of the store and its busy nature, we usually get through the checkouts fairly quickly, which is always a bonus! Overall then, a good choice for a quick and fairly hassle-free shop.

The offerings range from items found between a Bret and a local pub. I chose the ham and cheese panini with a Coke Zero. My fellow diners chose the fish and chips and other items. As you can see from the picture, the panini appears substantial, however, inside there was only a single slice of cheese and ham. It was a pre-packaged item warmed up in a panini press. I should have known better. The store is quite substantial, so you should find everything you need in one place. All the staff I encountered were first rate and very helpful.
