I went to this location, and got there about 10 minutes after they opened. I should have gone 30 minutes before they opened. The place was packed when I got there with about 50 people waiting. It took me an hour just for them to call my number. It turned out that, even if you call, and they say you have the correct paperwork, that you might not, as was the case when I went. When I got to the window, they said that when you call, the person that answers the phone sometimes gives out wrong information, and it used to happen all the time. I just went to save time on mailing paperwork back and forth, which might add up to weeks. So, I guess I will get the correct paperwork, and then next time get there really early.

The young lady that helped me was very friendly. She explained anything that I had a question on, and done in another 5 minutes. I was amazed! Perhaps my need was a simple one but it was a pleasant interaction. I didn't take any pictures to post, but the ones posted are pretty accurate. I do wish I would have gotten the young lady's name so as to credit her for a job well done.

I really love the drive-thru book drop off. I usually swing by before I bring my son to school and it's very convenient that we all don't have to get out of the car to return the books. I also love the self checkout stations inside the library. They are pretty magical, especially if you are checking out a ton of books. The children's section is great! It's set up in a way that is very clear and easy to follow depending on what age group you are looking for. I loved the candy land inspired interactive game they had setup in December. My son had so much fun checking it out. I especially loved that it was open if the library was open, you didn't have to go in at a specific time. I also love their Lucky Day section at the front of the library. You might get lucky and score a book that would otherwise have a super long waitlist. Such a neat concept! In general Wake County's online library system is awesome. It's so easy to reserve books and e-books as well. At North to pick up your books just head straight in towards the back by the main checkout desk. You can easily find what you need in alphabetical order there. Both times I just walked in, paid my money and the wait was less than 10 minutes. The staff at the fingerprinting office is professional and polite. They answer any and all questions and if I need prints again I will head here again.
