I chose Wendell hoping it wouldn't be as packed as the DMV's in Raleigh & I'm soooo glad that I was right. We arrived around 4 pm as walk-ins. It's located in a small shopping strip. It's super small but very quick. We got there and there were 3 customers ahead of us. We were quickly checked in & given a number. Within 2 minutes, Mrs. Johnson called us to her window. She was very nice and efficient in handling our request. I brought a million documents to verify his identity, etc. but she didn't need them. We were in and out of there within 10 minutes. I was very glad that I finally got this done & I will go there again if I ever need my license renewed, etc. Check their website before going to make sure they can handle whatever you need. Not all offices handle all things DMV. I highly recommend this location.

With everything you have to go through to get a passport this should hold a little more weight than it does. You literally have to verify social , take a photo , mail your birth certificate to the federal government and then they send you a passport. Why is this federal identification that allows me to enter other countries and come back to my own country not sufficient to get a state drivers license or permit on its on It makes absolutely Zero sense. While the staff were nice especially the woman who helped my son the experience is always horrible. The State needs to step up and help as opposed to leaving this sector private. 2-3 months for a simple appointment at the dmv is ridiculous. Hire more people , build more locations !!! The Northern Regional Center is a Social Services office but it is also used for elections either…read moreon election day or sometimes for early voting. It is a smaller voting site so the lines can get long at times and wrap around the building and go down the sidewalk for the big elections. Once the building was used for giving vaccines. I think it was the flu shot as it was before COVID. The building has a large parking lot so parking is normally easy to find.

It is like she wants to find something wrong in your paperwork and whip out some form (both times the wrong one) and starts highlighting in yellow and making check marks where people need to sign. BOTH time she gave me incorrect info. Only to go back and get a capable employee who helped me with a smile. The next time I go to this location, I will let others go ahead of me in order to get someone else. I can't understand how she still has a job here.

Wake Forest Meet in the Street is something I look forward to each year. It is a time where the…read moretown shuts down a street (or two) and features the downtown businesses, arts and crafts, vendors, organizations, and just gives the town an excuse to venture downtown to see what they have been missing. Hubs and I live in Downtown WF so we walk to the event, which is a huge advantage with the folks I see looking for parking each year. This year, the event was on Taylor Street, Brooks Street, and White Street! Also a new addition to MITS was the Beer Garden at White Street Brewery. For those folks like me without kids, it was nice to browse around shopping for some pottery items, and then sit down at the Beer Garden, and watch the featured band on the main stage (also on White Street). For those of you with kids, this is a great place for the whole fam! Taylor street was mostly the "kid friendly" area with face painting, bike riding area, the WFFD has a mock burning house (always a crowd pleaser, oh and it is less intimidating and dangerous than it sounds), and overall good kid fun! If you live in the WF area, or surrounding area and want a great way to start off the spring/summer outdoor events, this is a great way to do it each year! It is usually held the last weekend of April, or first weekend of May. Another reason to love living in WF!

I love this library! Ever since they reopened last year it has become my library of choice. It…read moreisn't the largest library in Raleigh by any means, but it still has everything you need! I really love the drive-thru book drop off. I usually swing by before I bring my son to school and it's very convenient that we all don't have to get out of the car to return the books. I also love the self checkout stations inside the library. They are pretty magical, especially if you are checking out a ton of books. The children's section is great! It's set up in a way that is very clear and easy to follow depending on what age group you are looking for. I loved the candy land inspired interactive game they had setup in December. My son had so much fun checking it out. I especially loved that it was open if the library was open, you didn't have to go in at a specific time. I also love their Lucky Day section at the front of the library. You might get lucky and score a book that would otherwise have a super long waitlist. Such a neat concept! In general Wake County's online library system is awesome. It's so easy to reserve books and e-books as well. At North to pick up your books just head straight in towards the back by the main checkout desk. You can easily find what you need in alphabetical order there. I used the word love a lot of times in this review, but I really do truly love our Wake County library system. It's the best!!

It is always really quiet and there are always really nice workers. However, I have noticed a few times when I've gone there that the restrooms aren't that clean. Overall, the experience is really awesome though.
