She didn't answer, but insisted I would like it and it would only be a $30 up charge, and could I ADD IT TO HER TIP. I said I have 2 services how do I give you a tip so much bigger than the other lady? And she said "DON'T YOU HAVE CASH?" and I said, "no credit card". Then SHE ASKED IF I HAVE VENMO and I said no. Now she seemed angry. Next she said well it doesn't look like you need any extractions, what do you think? And I said no because who wants someone angry doing extractions on your face. Additionally having had facials it seemed to be she saved time by eliminating some of the facial steps she was supposed to do and that I paid for. This was not very relaxing or comfortable experience. And isn't she stealing from the Salon?? Is the deal that she uses their facilities, scheduling, advertising and maybe product and in return they split sales? (or something like that). If she is offering services off the books isn't she stealing from them, and wouldn't they want to know about it? The only friend I told about this said her daughter had the same late experience and when she complained BV said they would give her a discount on her next service and she said "There is not going to be any next service."

I'm kind of blown away that I found Restorations on Groupon. I've been going back for over a year now, getting better results for almost PAINLESS microneedling as I did for insanely painful laser treatments that I had at other places. My skin has never been so clear, and my hyperpigmentation from years of acne is basically gone. At other places, microneedling has kind of felt like being slapped in the face repeatedly with a meat tenderizer, but whatever Kim uses to numb your face works like a charm. Seriously. Not to mention: As soon as you meet Kim, you realize there's something very deeply beautiful about her. She is maternal, warm, tuned into your needs, and (above all) masterful at what she does. She's been in the business for something like 40 years, and you can tell. She's never once tried to upsell me on anything -- it's not that kind of place at all. After discussing the medications I was on, he said it would not be a good idea to get the treatment I purchased the voucher for, but could go ahead and schedule a Carboxy Face Mask to see how that worked for me. I asked if I could have it done right there and then and he said he would go ahead and do the treatment for me. Steve is very professional, personable, friendly and knowledgeable. He really know his stuff. The exam room was comfortable and after changing into a gown, he started with a very thorough microdermabrasion followed by the mask. It was a weird sensation (really feels like pop rocks), but I only had a little bit of tingling but no discomfort. He then did some light therapy on top of the mask. I was very pleased with the results and he gave me a salon credit because the mask was cheaper than the laser treatment voucher. Steve and his staff are awesome! Felt very comfortable and they also provide massages, wax, laser hair removal, botox/fillers and a variety of facials (especially for people suffering from acne). I like the fact that they are medically directed and supervised, and their medical team is often on site.
