Online booking? There's no options for online booking. I called in the morning, no answer, left voice message. Later in the evening they message me at 19:45. (Whenever they text is always between 19:30 or later.) You won't be able to book an appointment on the same night. They take forever to respond, 1 message per night. I finally understand why women make skin care treatments a regular part of their "good health". Diana is a miracle worker with hands full of sorcery that relax me, rejuvenate me and leaves me feeling all soft and pretty. I experienced both a microderm abrasion session and a facial with Diana thanks to a Groupon (and don't worry, if you missed the deal, she'll honor the price if you just mention it). First, the microderm abrasion was the best I've ever had. I've had it done a few times in the past at various salons, and her method was gentle, meticulous and combined with so many relaxing aspects you'd expect from a facial. Her equipment is high quality, she is skilled at using it and combining it effectively with all her other potions and lotions to leave you with beautiful smooth skin. And she tops it all off with an incredible mini shoulder massage and head massage. As for the facial, I've had my fair share of facials over the years, via deals and at luxury spas, and this was 90 minutes of heaven. Her quiet manner combined with her incredibly strong and capable hands work absolute magic. My favorite was her method for "massaging" your cheeks- it's like ninja butterfly kisses. There's all the steps of cleansing, steam, minor extraction, and then like 5 more steps of additional massaging, lotioning and hot toweling. She definitely knows what she is doing with all those steps, including letting one lotion sit on my face for so long I actually fell asleep! The products all seem high quality, and she has never tried to sell me on anything or make me feel like my "current skin care routine" is inferior. The facial includes another incredible neck/shoulder massage and head massage. Both treatments included microcurrent, which was new to me, but the concept being the micro currents increase collagen production and make skin appear firmer- um, ok, yes please! She also treated me to a complimentary paraffin hand treatment when it came up in conversation I was celebrating my birthday. She also apparently does chemical peels, which sound scary to me, but if I was ever going to try one it would definitely be with Diana! She's currently offer a special of any 3 services for $150. Her salon space is adorable. It's super tiny with just enough room for her treatment table, guest chair, her chair and sink. A very nice corner shelf holds products for sale, and she has her cart full of magic potions next to her. Everything is clean, and the whiteness of the space is softened with nice lighting and pleasing decor. She has created an incredibly relaxing space for her clients, and it's so easy to zone out and enjoy the moment. So, if you haven't already picked up the phone to make an appointment, I suggest you do it now because word is going to spread about Diana and Sunny Day Spa. (Yes, it warrants the obnoxious cap letters) Long story short -- I recently had to break up with my routine facialist which was both awkward and painful, so I've been on the lookout for an equivocal or better replacement. I came across SDS after searching for spas near my house only to find out SDS recently moved over to Phenix Salon at E. County Line Road at University. Grrrrr....but given all the great reviews, I figured it was worth at least one shot. OMG. OMG. I opted for the Anti-Aging Facial, and it was 90 minutes of pure heaven. Diana definitely knows what she's doing as she was extremely thorough with a blend of masks, extractions, high frequency, microcurrent, and pure magic (seriously). The scalp and shoulder massages are amazing. The real kicker was the AMAZING (cap letters, I know, I know) results -- not immediately as my face looked rough (understandable given the transformation to come), but the next day? My skin was looking like a supermodel's. Take that Giselle (as I punch her in the face -- just kidding, er....sort of)!! Diana offers a great deal for repeating customers -- a 3-series of either Microderm, Chemical Peel, or Anti-Aging facial (all 90 min each) for $150. Such a great deal for what you get. I haven't had many facials in my life, and most of the ones I've had have ranged from "ok" to "why did I just spend money on this?" Well, Diana at Sunny Day Spa changed all of that. I now want to ensure that I regularly get a facial and I will be coming back to her for that. Sunny Day Spa is one of the individually owned salons in the Phenix Salon Suites at County Line & University. I didn't even know the place existed until I saw a groupon deal in December, but it's a similar concept to the Sola Salons where I get my hair done in Cherry Creek. The advantage to this is that if you schedule a facial with Sunny Day Spa, you're sure to get Diana. And, trust me, you want her. My groupon deal was for two facials and think it was around $65. This is a complete steal for the service you receive. I bought it because it was close to home, a great deal, and there are other very positive reviews here on Yelp. But, I didn't fully realize what I was getting. Previous facials I've had have been an hour, or in some salons that "hour" is really only 50 minutes. Diana gave me a 90 minute facial. And, from re-reading the groupon and living social deals she has (yes, they are still out there - get yourself one!) this seems to be her norm. 90 minutes of bliss. I opted for the facial. She also offers microdermabrasion and chemical peels. I'm a bit frightened by those, but might trust her with microdermabrasion next time. She used a variety of products during my facial. All were lovely, with the minor exception of the pineapple face mask (I have very sensitive skin and it tingled for a bit and then began to sting - but she did let me know that up front and removed it as soon as I let her know it was starting to get uncomfortable). She expressed some of those pesky blackheads on my nose. And, she spent some time using a microcurrent to help minimize lines and wrinkles. My skin feels so much better! And, it's not just the skin on my face. Diana applied product from my face down to my neck and decolletage. She also spent considerable time massaging my shoulders, upper arms, neck, face and head. It was incredibly relaxing. I was so relaxed there were times when I was almost asleep. The whole time she was incredibly professional. She let me know the major things she was doing, but she wasn't overly chatty - which is nice because it's hard to talk when there's stuff on your face. She also did not push the product and try to sell me additional things. She simply asked whether I had the facial products I needed. She did inform me that she was offering a deal - 3 facials/microderm/peel plus hand treatments for $150. I'm hoping she'll still have that or a similarly good deal when I go back in February, because I will certainly snap that up. She also asked me to tell my friends and said that they did not need to buy a groupon/living social/etc. in order to get the same great deal. And, yes, I'm passing on the news because Diana is fantastic and my facial was amazing. I'm so looking forward to my next facial in February and continuing to see her on a regular basis. read more

I made the mistake of thinking it was a good idea to book a facial at 8 months pregnant. Ok.. maybe not the best idea ever, because spending 90 minutes on my back is not the most comfortable thing in the world, but Diana still managed to make this an amazing experience. She went out of her way to make sure my back was supported, let me sit up when I was getting achey, and let me lay on my sides while having the mask and lotion treatments. She was very professional and very friendly (not overly chatty and didn't try to push products on me). The head massage was AMAZING and I nodded off a couple of times. What a great deal! I did the new customer facial for $55 and had an amazing 90 minute facial, a microcurrent treatment, and a paraffin hand wax treatment (which is great for the winter dry weather). The facial included several mask, exfoliants, steams, and moisturizers as well as extractions.
