Love being able walk around and find a place with a table and just sit. Beautiful afternoon and a great spot to people watch over a good meal. The servers just mingle around. The server we started with for drinks went on a break at the table near us for a cigarette. So another server took our order and delivered the meal. Wonderful brunch on our last night in Frankfurt. We initially went to Karin's across the street but didn't feel very welcome so we found this one and it was so good. I had the croquette and my husband the omelette. It felt more like Paris than Frankfurt. Nergiz was the best server we've had in our three weeks of travel in Europe. Amazing service. Showed up on a Friday night no reservation but waited about 15 min and got a table. All other restaurants wouldn't even let us wait. They had menu's in English. The lemon cucumber cocktail was amazing. A good amount of food for about 20 euros and drinks were about ten euros a drink. read more

We ended up grabbing dinner here as the place across the road that we planned on going was full. I have to say it did not looking overly tempting, more wine bar than restaurant, but it was busy and seemed to have a buzzy atmosphere so we headed in. Staff were super friendly, but almost in an over bearing over friendly "I want a tip" type of way. Weirdly they did not take card so I had to then leave and head up the road to a cash line and then go back. It was freezing so it was not a great start. On to the main course... The food obviously. I went with the duck special. It was a lovely duck breast with pasta. It really was tasty and I was pretty surprised to be honest. It came out quick, it was a small portion and the plate looked a bit of a messy, but I can't deny the food was lovely. Really mixed picture for this place. Lots of uneven edges with things I did not like, but the dish I had was excellent. Probs 3.5 stars really, but not got that option. So three. read more

Good and solid Restaurant. Lack of starter but very good main dishes. Service: Extraordinary good service. The waitresses and waiter are helpful and really pay attention to you. Even if you mess up your table (because you are not so good at eating burger), they'll clean your desk in a hurry so you dont get yourself dirty. No need to wave wildly at them, the just come as if they could feel your need for a new drink in some magical way. Food: Why are there no starters on the menue? Doens matter, because of the good service, they just created a startes plate right away on the fly. Thanks for this little things. Main dishes are very good. You have a big range to choice from (in type of style), but not so many dishes that you dont know what you want. Location: In the center of Frankfurt City. Reachable by S-/U-Bahn and also you can find a carpark. In the inside it has a lovely and modern interior. Clean, new and everything matches the overall style. Perfect place for lunch or a coffee both in Winter and Summer. They have a great breakfast and lunch card and bread which is devine! Their specialty "Kaffee Walden" needs to be enjoyed before leaving. A few weeks ago they have opened there additional area upstairs with a hip and modern look. We here stopped for some cocktails on our last day in Frankfurt. They have a nice, big outdoor seating area with lots of umbrellas and shady trees. Our waitress spoke English which was great since our German isn't the best. Great food, friendly service. I had the Strammer Max, which I think was Parma ham and Swiss cheese on brown toast, topped off with two fried eggs and a garnish of mint and sundried tomatoes. It was exactly what I needed to kickstart my day. Coffee and juice wasn't bad either. The only drawback was the terrible lounge music playing over the speakers. Coupled with the elaborate decor, it felt like I was eating in a discotheque. =) read more

Went on 11th May. Had great food, serice was great. We sat outside first before we moved inside to the biggest table. My friends and i had very wonderful time there. We had ceasar salad with chicken breast, rissoto with scampi, steak and lamb curry with red wine. Will definetely come again!! read more

Favorite place for brunch in Frankfurt - lots of dishes to choose from, you can get all of the egg dishes with scrambled or fried eggs & it comes with brötchen on the side. Perfect place to sit, especially if it's nice outside! Right in the center of the city read more

Just had an amazing Moroccan shank of lamb with couscous and veggies and it was delicious; My friend had a Tagliatelle pasta with roasted beef, mushrooms and green peas and he loved it too. The prices are decent, not on the cheap side thought, but quality of the food and ambiance well justify it. Very nice place! read more
