I had placed a photo order to be shipped to me and was missing several prints when received. I called the store and spoke to Vonna, who located the missing prints. This Walgreens pharmacy is hands-down, the worst pharmacy in all of Chicagoland. Kim, I guess she's a tech is rude and a big fat liar and needs to learn how to do her job a little better. I don't understand how she can tell me that my husband says that he told her (he was on the phone with her while I was standing at the counter ) he was going to do mail order, but his prescription was ready at Walgreens (he needed his prescription because he is completely out of his medicine so I needed to pick it up, and he's been waiting days for this to be filled and he ran out because they did not fill it in a timely manner) and then in the next breath says that my husband did not tell her what to do with the prescription and she put it back and had to re-refill it. I don't understand how she could put it back in the time that I stood there and talked to her. And when my husband talked to her on the phone, she was so rude. We have decided to stop using that pharmacy and we will be transferring everything somewhere else. Plus, it takes them days, literally days to fill a prescription. I understand they're busy but then hire more people. There's no reason that it should take three days or in my husband's case longer for a prescription to be filled and you have to call and remind them to get it filled. It's crazy. Wow, what happened to Walgreens? Used to go there all the time. Always my 1st stop when running errands. I use their pharmacy for all my mom's medicines. I used to be able to pick up meds 1, 2, 3 but no more. They have trouble getting meds ready on time, or they have to order meds from another pharmacy (you better hope it's not on a weekend) and God forbid if you need a compound medication made as was my case. I'm still waiting over a week now and that's after I had my doctor call the pharmacist and I also talked to the pharmacist myself and he promised it would be ready. It wasn't. The pharmacy line was 40 minutes long. There was people waiting for a prescription and vaccines. After being in line for 40 minutes, which made me late for the appointment for vaccines . The clerk told me that we had to wait 45 minutes because they were going on lunch or the person that was to give the vaccines was going on lunch . I asked to speak to a manager she said he wasn't available . Minutes later, the manager became available and he processed our appointment, asked us to wait a couple of minutes. 15 minutes we had to wait for pleasant employee to administer the vaccines. I give the pharmacy staff a 5 star! The are super friendly and do their best. I hear a lot of complaints in the waiting room and let be honest humans do not have any patience.. Now the walk-in clinic is a different story. I walked in early in the morning to check for strep because I felt horrible. The Dr on call was so rude and asked me if I am here for a flu shot. I said no. I am here because I feel sick. She then told me "please go to McNeal urgent care" and told me she was guarding the flu vaccines.. now what the heck does that mean? Well wasted 2 hours of my time at McNeal and finally gave up because I started feeling even more ill. I then came back to Walgreen around 3:30 to the same Dr who told me to leave. She proceeded to tell me she to check in and sit. Later to get told "sorry would you be ok if I take this patient over you" at this point I told her how I felt. By far the worst pharmacy I have gone. Pharmacy staff is rude slow pace workers and the pharmacy tech is childish and unethical. My sister had two prescriptions to have filled one was ready the second was pending, she called to request an ETA on that one prescription pending and they told her it would be ready in 5 min. I went in for her as she was very ill and when I asked for the medication they only gave me one and the other one they were out of stock. It was an argument back and forth with EVERYONE there and turned out that they had the medication there the whole time they just had to look through the new inventory, it was just easier for them to say it was out of stock. Medication was found and the tech decided to be childish and take his break right when the staff found the medication knowing that it will not be released to me until the TECH checked it out. Manager was called and of course sided with the staff arguing with me that the staff deserved to have their lunch. Tech was brought back from his lunch to get the medication checked out and handed to me. If anyone goes in for their medication and they tell you it's out of stock, don't believe them. there is a difference between "ma'am, give us 15 more minutes we have to look through out new inventory" and "We out of stock". read more

I have been waiting or over 12 hrs for a eardrop antibiotics for my son with an ear infection. They claim the immediate care physician didn't send over the prescription. which is contrary to when i first went to the pharmacy to check on the prescription status and to buy more children's motrin. I didnt want to wait for over an hour with a sick child so i asked if they could call me when it's ready and they never did. very unhelpful have to wait 3 hours now for the clinic to open to try and get the prescription sent to another pharmacy that actually knows what they are doing. read more

Unfortunately the Walgreens I normally go to does not compound medications so I had to come here to fill my script. The tech told me it would be ready in an hour. Welp, I go back (which is a 30 minute drive from my where I live) to pick up my medication 4 hours later and it wasn't ready. The pharmacist was very rude and condescending to me. I work in healthcare so I know better than to be demanding but he had no patience with me whatsoever and seemed annoyed by the fact I was annoyed I was told inaccurate information. This Walgreens drug store is leagues above most others! The service here is friendly and down to earth. I came in to buy health and beauty stuff, the shelves are always stocked, and the staff is always willing to help you find anything you need, The staff is always happy to assist you, during my time here I notice they care genuinely about the customer, This staff will do whatever it takes to achieve customer satisfaction. I was using coupons, and usually when I use coupons I will get a rude look or huff and puff from other cashiers at other locations (I guess its due to holding their line) I completely understand, but not Tania, this cashier was super nice and didn't make me feel rushed. She was very quickly too and had the line move quickly. She is awesome! Walgreens should have more Tania's as cashiers. She is an example of what Customer service really is! Thank you Tania! I have NEVER been so disappointed and felt so disrespected by a business in my entire life. My side piece works a lot of hours for minimal reward, and the only thing that helps him get through his hard worked weeks are our special alone times. Sometimes, like in the case of last night, he has a hard time performing (due to what I assume is him putting all of his hard work and energy into his job). So last night he had called asking for some dick pills, as his insurance will not cover Viagra or Cialis. Now, upon talking to a worker and expressing our last minute need for said dick pills, the male representative acted as if he had no clue what we were speaking about. My boo does NOT trust the dick pills available at gas stations, thus we were not going to one. Upon further explanation as to the necessity of these dick pills, the man had acted as if he knew what my boytoy was asking about and said he was just in the wrong department and needed to be transferred (I have no clue as to why). Then, my husband was put on a 7 minute hold before being transferred to the hang-up department. What kind of training do these people go through where if they don't understand a question they just put you on hold and hang up when they realize you're still waiting? Absolutely disgusting, me and my man will be looking elsewhere for our alternative to brand name dick pills and never contacting this store ever again. read more

Trust me when I tell you if I could put negative stars I would. I do not believe I have ever left a review but this Walgreens is the WORST. The pharmacy is RUDE and so slow. They have no care for their customers. I sat on in line for over 20 minutes an hour after I dropped off my prescription as they told me it would be ready. Finally get up to the counter and they tell me to go to the BACK of the line as it is not ready for another 15 minutes. So I left and called before coming back where I was then put on hold for 21 minutes and 14 seconds. This service is the WORST and I will be switching pharmacies and not using Walgreens again. We waited until 4:01pm when finally the nurse came out and said "the doctor left". We were dumbfounded. Read online that it's a policy to not ask for minors ids that are accompanying adults, unfortunately the minor was also in the military. Today, I went to this store twice; once to pick up some sugar free hersheys and bandages for my uncle who just had surgeries, and the second to pick up specialty batteries for an Active Pen for my laptop so that I can study for finals. Both times Brenda helped me. She was kind, personable, and even though I wasn't the only person she was helping, she still assisted me in everything I needed in a timely manner. She checked me out personally, saving me time from waiting in line. She was so sweet and she even remembered my name. You can tell that this store has a great work environment, the staff respect and like each other. I enjoy coming to this store and will miss it when I move for school. read more
