Walgreens in Bossier City Both Walgreens in Bossier City, LA have been horrible the last year. If they are busy they won't take prescriptions. That is their job! They take your prescription and tell you when it will be ready. When you go pick it up they tell you they are out of stock. If they can text your prescription is ready they can certainly text there is a delay. I've run out of meds for myself and dogs because they can't seem to keep meds in stock. Why is that? Not one pharmacy employee is able to tell me. I am doing my best to find an alternative pharmacy, but they are the only pharmacy in our area that carries my dog's med. I am calling my vet on Monday and changing meds I hope, but I will not be using Walgreens for my dog or my self anymore! read more

This is by far the worst place I have ever been to. They follow HIPPA Laws when they feel the need to not consistent at all. The service is piss poor and out of all the people the young female pharmacist is the rudest, obnoxious, evil spirited, loud, disrespectful, and just a terrible human being. 0 of 5 stars. Can't think of a single positive experience with the pharmacy here. Drive through lady is ALWAYS rude. Inside counter isn't much better. They always act like you are an inconvenience for just trying to get your prescriptions. Last straw was when I turned in a script on the the 15th. She said it would be ready on the 21st. Came back on the 23rd and still not ready. She was extremely rude and just walked away from the window. Old pharmacist came up and said they couldn't fill until the 29th, but call to make sure on the 28th. I had my prescription transferred to another store that day. The pharmacist has no clue what his employees are doing. No one cares. For the love of all that is holy just go somewhere, anywhere else. read more

The lady at the drive-through was very rude. Acted like me coming to get my medication was an inconvenience to her.

The old white haired man that is main pharmacist there is a worthless employee. I walked into the pharmacy with 30 minutes before closing and it was a ghost town. Literally no one was in line or sitting down and when I dropped off my prescription, the pharmacist said he wouldn't fill it today and that I would have to wait until in the morning to get my medication The whole time after he told me he wouldn't fill my medication. They just walked around in circles doing nothing waiting for the end of their shift to get there. Apparently they've never seen a real Pharmacy where they're slammed from 8 AM to 8 PM. don't waste your time here these people don't enjoy helping customers or have any decent customer service or patient health in mind. read more

This is the absolute worst Walgreens I've ever been to. The store personal were very friendly and helpful. The pharmacy on the other hand needs an enema. Starting with the pharmacist that after waiting for 5-10 minutes past nine for him to open the pharmacy, told me that the meds would take 45 minutes to fill. He was short and disrespectful. So after waiting the 45 minutes with my daughter who just had oral surgery, I returned to the counter. I was greeted with "your daughter's prescriptions are not ready yet ". The young dark haired lady went on to say she was busy and didn't have time to finish filling them because there were only two people there and she also had to work the drive through window and the front counter. I understand being shorthanded but I don't think she should have talked to me in the very gruff and rude manner in which she did. So I waited another 20 minutes for them to fill the prescriptions. I will never return to that Walgreens pharmacy. I hope they get some help and learn to treat their customers with respect. Personally I think the young lady should find another line of work altogether. read more

Really bad experience. They only have the option of taking a size 2*2 passport photo and not any other option (according to the sales person LySandra) If asked, they won't even know the size or resolution of the photo taken. Don't bother to ask them to retake the photo because they won't. LysSandra is extremely rude, she took a photo and made me wait for 30 mins. I returned to find that there is no photo. Apparently, their camera malfunctioned. Highly irresponsible and careless attitude. Isn't this the job of the photographer to check if the photo is there or not? The other person came to help me by taking a new photo and getting it to print. First, I waited in the car the 2nd time I came back in the store (after 20 min) to find the ladies laughing and chitchatting in the front I waited in the store and kept walking up and down the aisle. I was asked to come back after another 30 min. A total 11/2 hr wasted. Their excuse is that they are short on staff. 0 customer service. The sales person shouts at you and when you respond with the same tone (which she is not expecting since I am colored) they will remind you how short staffed they are and direct you the invisible sign at the photo center. Both waiting on the other to do the task. The sales person "LySandra" is a perfect example of look busy and do nothing. Manager must either train them or hire more staff to help these poor ladies. read more

Wish I could give 0 stars!! The female pharmacist is rude and gives customers nothing but problems!! I have tried to shop there multiple times and only when she is working do we ever encounter a problem. I wish they would get rid of her so I could have my meds filled closer to home. This person, if you want to call her that, has no compassion. She has run off so many people I personally know and I watch her berate others besides myself!! Go to any of the others if you want timely prescriptions. They are very slow and the staff is rude only when she is working. When I have used them in the past and a different pharmacist is working the staff has been kind. I wish corporate would send in secret shoppers or listen to the complaints. Pharmacy needs a 0 out of 5 stars. Prescription turned in Tuesday Saturday. Not ready for pickup Saturday because they said at 5:50 when I picked it up that they had to update insurance and they were closing at 6. One of my medicines was time-sensitive and she said come back Sunday....(they said text messages would notify me when it was ready Sunday) Sunday morning, they did not have them ready at 10 and said to come back. THIRD trip to the pharmacy, they told me one of them was just over the counter....I could have had it the whole time. (I never received a text telling me when they were ready) Frustration doesn't explain how I felt after three trips to the pharmacy, just to get laughed at and badmouthed through the window. It felt as if they were harassing me. Their attitudes were completely disrespectful and they lack customer service. I will always, from now on, go to CVS. read more

This location on airline dr, (greenacres) is close to my work and i stop often have gotten to know the staff and love shopping here for a little bit of everything. I normally don't writE reviews but the tech they have working the pharmacy drive through was a bit on the rude side. She acted like she had a serious attitude. All I was doing is picking up my husbands prescription. I even dropped it off and agreed to come back later because I one ew they were busy at 5 pm. So I came back at 6:30. Not busy at all she just had a chip on her shoulder and literally rolled her eyes at me when I said thank you trying to be nice in case she was having a bad day. The store itself is fine.. the only problem I've incurred with them is they are suppose to close at 12:00 midnight.. however.. they sometimes close 20 to 30 minutes earlier.. if you knock on the door they will say they've already closed their registers The pharmacy is another story.. the large female pharmacist is rude n helping customers is not her priority. I was having trouble between two medication n had to switch several times. On the last time the Dr. changed it, I presented a letter from my Dr. explaining the change. This female pharmacist contacted the other Dr. before I had time to discuss the change with them n made them believe I was attempting some sort of dishonesty. The Dr. she contacted dismissed me n this female pharmacist called my house n was happy to let me know what she did. Also, she told me I would never be able to fill that particular medication at Walgreens again. I moved all of my prescriptions to another pharmacy. I could not believe this female pharmacist interjected herself into my life in this way. It caused an inconvenience, headache, n embarrassment for me to say the least. I reported her to Walgreens home office n they assured me they would look into it.. however nothing was done. I'm 58 years old n have used Walgreens all of my life.. but since this assault n invasion into my life, my Dr.'s, n my medical needs.. I have not returned to Walgreens again. read more

Walgreens is ok but the pharmacy sucks! Poor management and employees there are VERY rude. They lie they said I didn't make a refill there I made it at the other Walgreens. Which by the way I have never been to they dont have my ID nor my insurance information so tell me how did they refill my prescription?? They lied all because they did not have it ready and I called about 2 to 3 hrs ago n they said it will be 1 and a half n then my boyfriend goes n picks it up "oh it will be 15 to 20 mins. I have had at lest 5 incidence with them n 2 of them was lying 1 the one I just said and another them saying my family Dr had my date of birth wrong which it was really Walgreens pharmacy....i am feed up with that place it needs to be shut down...only reason I'm going to select a star is cuz I HAVE other then that no stars for them..THEY SUCK! read more

No matter what time of the day I call it takes 15 min or more for anyone to help you. Sometimes they never answer. The drive thru is down to one lane and it takes forever to be waited on. The people are generaly nice but your wait time is horrible. Considering moving to CVS. read more
