It can't get better with nice help, great employees, floor layout is always convenient

i'm giving them actually -2 stars! On Saturday, April 25, my wife went to the integrity clinic for back pain. She was prescribed muscle relaxant to be filled through the Walgreens however, by the end of Saturday. Walgreens had failed to fill the prescription. Oddly, Sunday morning my wife got an automated voicemail from the Walgreens Corporate office saying that the prescription has been filled and could be picked up after 9 o'clock on Sunday the 26th. I showed up on Sunday the 26th at 10 AM. Went to the back of the store to find the pharmacy section absolutely shut down. I asked an employee and he said" the pharmacist did not come in today and we cannot sell any prescription medication whatsoever." As I walked in utter disbelief towards the front of the store, I found several customers waiting to be waited on and two store employees. I blurted out so that everyone could hear me, Could anybody tell me exactly when does the pharmacy actually plan to have a licensed pharmacist at the store so that the pharmacy could actually sell medications that are prescribed by doctors?!!! and then I stormed out of the store. " On the way home, I got to thinking how many people were going to be we're going to be/were inconvenienced over the weekend simply because Walgreens couldn't or wouldn't sell medication prescribed by doctors; since we didn't get anything Saturday afternoon from Walgreens, it makes me wonder if there was even a pharmacist there on Saturday as well ; we were in limbo because the prescription had been called into the Walgreens pharmacy, which was not in operation. We had to wait until Monday for the prescription to be filled by H-E-B. I simply cannot believe there is not a back up plan to have a substitute pharmacist brought in from another area Belleville, Brian, even Houston!; come on Walgreens you're a national brand you've lost two customers for sure bye-bye ..Aufwiedersehen! read more

Phone calls ignored, service is slow... ignoring the calls stacked up on hold doesn't make them go away

This pharmacy will not fill prescriptions for my patients. I am a midwife with an overseeing obstetrician and repeatedly they refused to fill prescriptions for my patients since I am a midwife. read more

Wow, the low reviews make sense. Good luck tracking down a prescription. They seem too good to answer the phones. If you're sick, this would be the last resort to fill any prescription at. They used to be right on the ball and have things ready before I get there from the doctor. Now, you're lucky if anything is even processed the same day. You're better off going to HEB or Walmart. You could drive to Houston and back and save time over this place, no joke. read more

The pharmacy is as unprofessional as they come, use H‑E‑B or Walmart. I was told over a week ago my meds were "indefinitely back ordered" and I needed to call my DR and have them sent elsewhere. So I did just that. Now I have the other pharmacy calling to tell me they can't fill it, because WALGREENS already did on the 16th. But WALGREENS never notified me...So I contact them and encounter the RUDEST tech, telling me "they don't make the pills there" (WELL OBVIOUSLY) and "she don't know why they ain't called me". And I'm just trying to find out if they actually have my medicine or not. Then tells me she's putting my prescription back and hangs up. The Pharmacist AND store manager both stand behind this and refuse me my meds I'm already a week behind on because of them and they've already filed it on my insurance. DISGUSTING BEHAVIOR. SHAME ON YOU ALL. I will be in touch with corporate over this. read more

The worker at the photo printing counter was incredibly disrespectful and horrible service. She was messing up customers orders and THREW PHOTOS AT CUSTOMERS!!!!!! Absolutely ridiculous, she needs to be fired immediately. She has short dark blonde hair and glasses. Do not recommend getting service from her!! read more

-1. Worst Walgreens I've ever been to!!!! Just transferred my prescriptions here from Cypress and have had nothing but issues. Young lady I just picked up prescriptions from was so rude!!!! Brenham Walgreens is the worst pharmacy when it comes to customer service. I thought I'd transfer my prescriptions from another pharmacy to my new area which had a Walgreens They were so rude it was horrible and don't bother trying to call them they scream at you. The pharmacist or the one guy I talked to the day I decided to switch was so nice I thought this is great. He must have quit because all I received were arrogant obnoxious helpers that made me feel bad for even bothering them about if they had filled a prescription. After three weeks this sixty five year old lady had enough and moved my prescriptions to H E B where they also deliver them to your home if you can't get there. Prescription filled two days prior drop one off was told it would be ready in twenty got a text hours later (not a big concern of mine in the circumstance) however I go back to pick up and my insurance is no longer in the system. My card is at the office and I'm on my way home. Wouldn't have been so bad if the response from the employees was more we are sorry rather than 'sometimes computers do that and why don't you have your card. Needless to say this is third or fourth issue on top of waiting forevvveerr each visit. Why did you leave CVS?? HEB pharmacy here I come. Walgreens will no longer receive business in-store or from the pharmacy. Treat customers well even when you're wrong instead of pointing the finger and being short. read more

I highly recommend this Walgreens. La Beth in the pharmacy went out of her way to help my daughter. I do not live in Brenham but with La Beth's help, I was able to get her the prescription she needed. Thank you for going beyond. read more

There are times you have a rush and emergency situation. We had an appointment in Houston and needed a passport photo, FAST! While my spouse went to collect the applications, my son and I entered Walgreens and headed to the photo counter. There was one customer at the self serve kiosk and another lady sitting behind the counter who did not look up. Someone I assumed was a customer had a plastic shopping bag draped on her arm, pouring coffee turns and asks if we need help. I let her know we needed some passport photos. She said it would take an hour. I have gotten passport photos in the past that have taken just a few moments. I then advised her of our situation and the time crunch we had. She nonchalantly shrugged her shoulders and said "I'll see what I can do, I have other orders" as she sipped her coffee. It was at that moment we took our departure and took our business across the street to CVS. The staff at CVS got us in and out in less than 5 minutes! Fast and friendly! read more

Medication was sent over at 3:50 got here at 4 medicine would be ready in 15minutes they said 4:30 medicine not ready! 4:45 medicine was ready oh wait only one medicine was filled here it is 5:10 still not ready! Absolutely ridiculous! Never having a single script filled here again! read more

Y'all probably shouldn't have such judgy bitches working your register. I literally just left so I hope the manager reads this. I understand this is a small town but I don't appreciate getting dirty looks walking up to the register because I have tattoos. I am so irritated that every time I come to the pharmacy inside or outside through the drive through the line is so very long! They are so slow that the drive through line wraps around the building barely moving and so then we park and go inside to find the same thing! Twice now. Grrr they need to hire more people or more efficient ones. read more

CVS closed in Brenham and transferred out prescriptions to Walgreens. Our first visit will be our last visit as the person behind the counter was rude and hateful to me and my husband. I have already transferred to H-E-B Pharmacy as they understand customer service. CVS was always respectful and so friendly I miss them. Maybe they need a management change as this type of service seems to be common knowledge and with CVS closing can you imagine how much more hateful they will get due to more business. read more

The pharmacy has gone downhill in a hurry - We have gone from getting all of our prescriptions there to getting none of our prescriptions there. The latest (and last) episode I had there was as follows - they tell me my prescription is ready so when I drive over 5 miles to go pick it up, the guy tells me it would be $450.00. He questioned me about my insurance & I tell him its the same as its always been. He couldn't figure it out so he put the prescription back and I left. A few days later I get another e-mail saying that things have been straightened out & my prescription was again ready. I drove back (5 miles again), and a very rude little girl behind the counter again told me there was a problem, didn't seem to care at all about my inconvenience. At that point I just left and went to CVS. They processed & got my script to me quickly with no problems. We used to buy many other things @ Walgreens, but we don't do that much anymore. CVS has the same stuff, so we pick it up when we get our prescriptions. read more

I travel a lot and have been to Walgreens around the Country and had mostly terrible experiences with medications being filled when I am from out of state. This Walgreen's Pharmacy team really stands out as something special. I witnessed the Pharmacy manager talk to many different types of customers and he was exceptional. All of the pharmacy staff were professional, kind and efficient. I couldn't believe it! Thank you so much to the Pharmacy Team for helping me believe in customer service and kindness again at Walgreens! read more
