Ridiculous amount of paperwork just to get a flu shot. You stand at a germ laden screen to fill out all your information for about 5 to 7 minutes with people queuing up behind you. They realize that for every person in front of them it's at least 5 minutes plus the time to fill out their paperwork. So you hear grunts and comments. When finished your appointment time displays on the screen. You go sit down and the technician comes out and hands you even more paperwork which is duplicate of what you just filled out. Why can't you just fill it ALL out while seated so no one in back of you in line's time is wasted?? ??? Totally inefficient And I am reminded of why I hadn't gotten a flu shot here in a couple of years but had gone elsewhere. Putting a calendar reminder in for 2019 to not do Walgreens for flu shot. I would be remiss if I didn't point out the fact that the technician was kind, considerate, very nice and efficient. read more

The pharmacy is horrendous. They don't answer their phones. I was on hold for an hour. I actually went there while on hold and heard the phone just ringing. No one picked up. Both employees tell me that Walgreens has gotten rid of their customer assistance phone service. Ridiculous. I told them that I will be one less customer so they won't have to worry about the customer assistance anymore and the response was "I don't blame you". So, farewell Walgreens. CVS is so much better anyway which is where I always shop anyway. Summit pharmacy will now be my pharmacy for my prescriptions.BTW, only having two employees working in the pharmacy during cold and flu season is despicable. read more

I have to agree with the last reviewer (Dee M.) that the process to get a flu shot could use some work, although the process we went through seems entirely different than hers. I recently took two of my daughters (separately) to get flu shots (we just walked in - no appointment). We signed in at the counter, instead of filling things out on a screen like Dee mentioned. It took two pharmacy technicians to figure out how to get us signed in on their computer, but the paperwork part wasn't a big deal at all - we just had to check off a few things and sign it. Once we were all set up, it didn't take long for the shot to be administered. Maybe the technicians (or the store itself) are new to doing the flu shots? Or maybe they have a new system? I'm not really sure, but we got it done and in the grand scheme of things, it didn't really take that much time out of my day. We will definitely be going back for flu shots next year. read more

Parking lot is difficult to get in and out of depending on the direction you are coming from. Rude and unprofessional people are usually running the counters at the front of the store. The lines back up pretty quickly and checking out is usually a slow process whether you are at the front, at the pharmacy or at the photo counter. The other day I was at the pharmacy counter and while there were 4 employees present, I stood there for a couple of minutes before anyone acknowledged me. Not even a, "hi, be with you in a minute." They all just acted as though I wasn't even standing there. The guy that is frequently at the photo counter makes me feel uncomfortable. I think he thinks he's being "cute" or "funny" but he makes me uncomfortable and I would rather not go to the counter if he's there. Not usually a management presence unless you need to call for one. They typically have decent sales on OTC meds and hair products. That's usually the only reason why I come in here. I used to get photos here and they were nice but the quality is so bad, now. I will come if I need a few quick prints for the classroom but otherwise, I'm snapfishing it. I prefer this Walgreens over the nearby CVS but there are a lot of things that need work...beginning with customer service. read more

Went to the pharmacy to pick up prescriptions. I had an issue w my insurance/ information on record. I ended up getting yelled at by the redhead pharmacist 'chris'. Very rude and disrespectful. She claimed she was the pharmacy manager but did not behave like one. She disregarded my question and continued to scold me on how this is not her problem. Horrible staff. read more

This seems to be about par with Walgreens. Many of their stores could use a renovation. This being one of them. This store is usually clean and the staff is friendly. I'm not sure what I really expect in drug stores anymore. They're a dime a dozen and on just about every corner. read more

I went to Walgreens to get some photos that I wanted printed out. Went to go pick them up and the lady behind the counter said she couldn't give me my photos because they LOOK professional and I needed a release from the photographer. Pictures that I took on my own phone. After explaining that I'm the photographer and there's plenty of other places that will take my money without an arguement I just shook my head and left. Went to Walmart had the same pictures in my hands in about 20 minutes and paid 2cents less per pic. read more

No doubt this Walgreens pharmacy in Brookhaven has to be the worst and the Walgreens in Aston is just as bad,sadly it stems from two female pharmacists Amy in Brk. and Christine in Aston. Rude unprofessional and downright uncaring,I believe their both in the wrong business. The way I've heard them speak to customers is pathetic and sooner or later KARMA will pay them a visit. Pharmacy is horrible. I came back for two prescriptions three times. And it still isn't complete. There's always lines, But there are a lot of people working. They like to chat A between themselves. The person who took my prescription was more interested in joking around with employees, then taken my date of birth. They told me it would be ready in 20 minutes I came back in an hour and a half and it wasn't ready. Came back the next day, they didn't even know I had two prescriptions.
