I wish there was an option to rate "0" starts. This Walgreens is located less than 2 minutes away from our home. Unfortunately, every experience with the pharmacy is so horrible that we must travel to Lansing (Ridge Road) or South Holland (162nd). This is unacceptable. The corporate office must do something about this location. You can never get through to anyone by phone. I've called first thing in the morning and every hour one day with no success; consistently receive the message, "There are more than three callers ahead of you". I've even held for up to 40 minutes to no avail. Whenever I call the location on Ridge Road in Lansing, someone always picks up in a timely manner. The team member is knowledgeable and helpful. It would be ideal if the team at Ridge Road could train the team at Torrence/Sibley. We deserve better! read more

Walgreens clinic: I made an appointment on 10-23-20 for 10-24-20 @ 9a. I made it there at 8:50a. Walked in and followed the instructions because of the COVID-19. It stated to go back to your car and call inside to let them know you were there and someone will call you when to come back in for your appointment. 8:55a, 9:00a, 9:10a, NO ANSWER! I then called the advocate customer care and explained to the rep. She stated, to sit tight, they were still setting up. As of 9:45a, no one still called me! I called back to customer care and explained. Another rep stated, the systems were down to sit tight someone will call me.. Due to them being unprofessional and not informing the patients of this problem and had us sitting outside for near an hour, I cancelled!!! Don't depend on this Walgreens for your health needs! DO NOT USE THIS LOCATIONS "ONLINE SHOPPING/PICKUP"!!!! I did an online order and it was ready in 30 mins as stated. I was given an option of curbside or drive thru. I selected drive thru. Got there and there were a few cars ahead of me. When I approached the window. Guess what? My order wasn't there. I had to wait at least 20 mins for my items because the manager whom had a disgusted look on her face was taking her time getting my order which was suppose to be ready. I would NEVER EVER EVER EVER go to this Walgreens again. Angelica in the pharmacy is the icing on the cake of horrible customer service. Come to think about it, the way she just handled me and the customers in line I may even write a letter to the CEO of Walgreens. If you hate your job that much just quit. Walgreens on Torrence and Sibley currently has a google review of 2.4 stars and honestly that is too high. The store overall is dirty, it smells like a nursing home, and the lack of empathy for SICK people getting their prescriptions is sad. If I could give their pharmacy a rating separately I would and it would be a darn negative number. This pharmacy is the only 24 hour one in the area but never has enough people working. No matter what time of day you come..Morning, noon, night, 2am..it doesn't matter you're going to wait a minimum of 15 to 30 minutes. Then after you wait you still might not get what you need. After reading the negative reviews, I was somewhat nervous about what I would find here, but it was the closest Walgreens with a clinic, which is what I needed on short notice. HUGE location, very, very busy - at least 20 cars in the parking lot when I got there. Walked inside - it's the current Walgreens format, very easy to see everything and it was very clean. Went back to the clinic area, signed in and was greeted by the Nurse Practitioner with at least 3 people waiting ahead of me. Had a little bit of a wait, to be expected with a walk-in (IMHO). The Nurse was absolutely fantastic. Super nice, very patient, did not make me feel rushed at all got me into the exam room to cover why I was there. She quickly took my vitals, et al and had me diagnosed pretty quickly. I picked up some water on my way out and there was only one cashier there with 4 people in line. In short order, another cashier came up and started ringing people through, so they were sensitive to the amount of people in line. Everyone was polite, and as quick as they could be, will definitely go back to this location should I need the clinic again or I'm over in Cal City. read more

I would have said before today that some of my worse Service from this PHARMACY was at the location on Sibley and Woodlawn in Dolton. From the lost prescription, really they have mine to someone else and the copay was pretty up there so I'm so surprise someone else took it. To the down right rudeness of some of the staff. But I must say they are so much better. But this location the pharmacist here takes the prize in rudeness. If my son was not sick and this was necessary I would not be here at all. And then they only got one of my prescriptions filled and made me wait 2 more hours to get my second one filled. The pharmacy departments customer service is deplorable. My baby had an ear infection, and after hours of of waiting, they FINALLY had my prescription ready. When I got all the way home I noticed that the bottle was only filled with powder. I was livid; especially since this wasn't the first time I've experienced poor customer service with them. The pharmacy tech. made excuses, dryly. How she's sorry, but she was busy and distracted. Do we really need our prescriptions filled by a person who's "distracted"? No. Just, no. Don't go here.
