This pharmacy never has the prescriptions available! They have to order and it arrives late. We're moving pharmacies asap!

Came into drive thru for a Covid test Friday. Was told system was down but not to worry they will get it taken care of. I'm waiting around all weekend for results and finally called Labcorp to see my status and my Covid test was lost/never had correct info filled out. Neither Walgreens nor Labcorp ever followed up. I know for a fact I had COVID. Don't need a test to tell me that I suffered through the worst sickness of my life. My work needed it for confirmation read more

Wouldn't allow an item to be returned 4 minutes after purchasing it. Manager just hid behind a corporate policy.

Everything here is pretty good. Sometimes they have items I need on sale. If you go there regularly get their app, because they send a lot of discounts that way. The people who work here are generally friendly and helpful. I enjoy their photo department. Overall I would recommend this location. read more

Walgreens - One of the many isles of products - Drugstores Near Me - Canton, Georgia

My husband and I have been using Walgreens Pharmacy for a couple of years now. We had been using store 9981 located at 101 Prominence Point Pkwy, Canton, GA. Within the last 6 to 8 months, we started having issues with them. I have asked many times (for at least a year now) to have all of my medicines synchronized. Still hasn't happened. My husband's doctor's office submits all of my husband's prescriptions directly to the store all at the same time. For some unknown reason, the date keeps getting pushed back on his pain meds. If the prescriptions are being sent all at once and he asks to pick them up all at once, why does the date keep getting pushed back? Today was not a good day for us and yes, I got upset. I had been getting reminders that I had a prescription to pick up last week (received a text on June 12). I called a doctor's office on June 14 for a prescription refill (this isn't filled on a regular basis). I knew I had one ready so I was planning to pick them both up at the same time. That doctor's office didn't send in the new prescription right away. I got a message on 6/19 that they were both ready for pick up. My husband went to pick up both our prescriptions and when he got there, he was told for his prescriptions, only one was ready and the others wouldn't be ready until 6/25. Of course, he was upset and voiced his frustration (mind you, today was his first radiation appointment). They gave my husband one of my prescriptions but he wasn't aware that I had two ready. When he got home, he handed my bag to me and I only had one. So, of course, I called and told them I had only received one. I was told they shelved it because it had been sitting for 12 days. If my memory serves correctly, even if you count the day of the 12th, until today, 6/19, that doesn't add up to 12 days. So yes, I was upset. I brought up the fact that I'm still trying to get my meds synced and it hasn't happened. Well, Miss Heather (the name she told me) said she was the operations manager and she said "everytime" we come, we're complaining and being verbally abusive and we could get our meds somewhere else. I asked if I can still get the med they reshelved and she said "Nope!" I am completely out of that medication now. They won't fill the remainder of my husband's meds either and since he's on social security, I have to call the doctor's office and have them electronically sent elsewhere. I admit we are both very frustrated today and yes, we lost our cool. I CAN say that I have only gotten upset with them and lost my cool on 3 occasions. And I can also say that not one time did we curse anyone out. That's in 2 years and one of the reasons for one of the times was when I was given someone else's medication (coming up below). I work full time, have a very demanding and stressful job, my husband just started radiation for his cancer treatments today and my 88 year old mother's health is failing in another state. Am I stressed? Yes! Is he stressed? Yes! And to have to keep asking the same questions trying to get meds synced and getting the run around has been exhausting. They have mis-filled my husband's prescriptions in the past. He is in constant pain from a surgery that a podiatrist messed up (don't get me started with that). A few months ago (from this same location), I was given someone else's medication. Same last name but different first name, address, phone number, etc. I was not asked to verify that information. I was asked for my name only. When I came home with my meds, it was supposed to be a steroid pack because I had a non-stop sinus infection. It's a good thing I looked at the bottle and went to read the directions because my doctor's office said I should read those carefully. They didn't make sense, so I looked at the medicine and it was wrong! Then I checked the name and it wasn't mine! I did call and report this to the Georgia Board of Pharmacy (this happened earlier this year). I also called Walgreen's Corporate and the lady I spoke with was surprised that they refused to fill my prescription (for the last time). Yes, I'm transferring pharmacies. Walgreen's is as bad, if not worse, than CVS and that's not saying much. Mind you, yes, we were wrong to lose our cool. Even though our voices raised, we did not call them names or curse at them. I'm not condoning my behavior at all. No one would be getting upset if they did the job they are being paid to do. Sorry for my rant but this store needs to have a redo with their employees. read more

Could be the best service I've ever received from a pharmacy...ever!! Solid from start to finish.

The store is good, clean, well stocked. Usually good sales. Front is usually ok. Pharmacists are both AMAZING. MOST (with 1-2 exceptions) of the pharmacy staff is very kind and helpful. They can get is medicine that's a rare prescription, WAY quicker than anywhere I've tried. read more

This is a really solid Walgreens. The prices are great and they are always having sales. There is a Redbox outside I love that! The guy who checked us out was fantastic. He offered to cut the tags off our flip flops and the dog toy we got. Little touches like that make me a return customer. read more

Twice this pharmacy has not bothered to tell me when picking up my auto refill prescription that I need to call my doctor before the next refill. Both times, I have found out on a weekend that my prescription would not be filled until the Dr approves it. Clearly that isn't going to happen on a Sunday. So twice I have been late getting my prescription. I expect the pharmacists to do their job and point these items out to customers before hand. Not the day that the patients need them. read more
