The only issue we had on our visit was the loud sound from the forklifts backing up. The hotdog combo is cheap and good. The items we bought we good at per unit price. The gas at this time is $3.87 regular. Most unpleasant experience with Samsclub at Davis Dr , Alpharetta with Tire installation. my Tpms was not on when i handed over my car for installing 4 new tires . when i got it back tpms light was on . asked them about that , they checked it out and said your tpms sensor is bad and need to replace . How can the TPMS go bad in an hr time when the car is in their workshop and they are the only one handling the tires . and they charged me 86$ in addition to install 2 new sensors. This place has dropped in quality by a lot. First, I came here to get gas and wash my car. The gas lines were extremely long but it was not that bad of a wait. The car wash was shut down for the day because of maintenance. I wanted to try the food court but it literally had 20 people in line. It was also an issue because they did not have any churros or pretzels. Just pizza and drinks. Actual shopping, they did not have any chickens available. There was one lonely chicken that was ripped apart and frankenstein back together. I looked at the oven and the had like 10 other chickens sitting on the floor of the oven. SMH. read more

Always love shopping here. This location is so much better than the Duluth location. Less traffic, more organized, well stocked, clean. Vince at the concessions area is great! Pizza, hot dog, and 4-berry Sunday are always on point! But I truly come here for the meats. Specifically the beef! The beef cuts are always great. Brisket, short rib, chuck roast, steak. I love it all. Not a huge fan of their pork rib cuts. The trimming on the pork rib cuts isn't always great, so you'll want to give that some attention. Everything else, flawless. read more

One of the reasons I have a Sam's Club membership is for the reduced gas price and I love that this location is close to my home and has a gas station which all Sam's Clubs do not provide. This area is always clean and has six lanes so there is rarely a long weight. You also have the option of getting a car wash and can pay for it right at the pump. Only downside is it isn't open 24 hours, so I definitely plan in advance when I need to fill up. During the increase in gas prices the last few months, it's really helped to have the membership because the gas is lower than any other stations, I've seen using credit/debit as a form of payment. Also, when we had the gas shortages, I was able to come to Sam's Club gas and fill up with no problem at all and without a wait. If you run into any issue while pumping gas press the attendant at the pump and there is a live person to assist. read more

Hmmm ... Today was the first time I actually set foot in this store. I've been to the associated gas station many times previously, so being in this building was pretty nice. Parking is ample for the weekend crowd. The employee at the entrance checking for membership IDs was too preoccupied to look up at all the customers passing by her station just inside the door. There were a lot of shopping carts available, and wipes were available for members to wipe down the handles of the shopping carts. Hand sanitizer was also available at the door. Every employee that I saw was wearing a facemask. Ok, when I compare Sam's Club to Costcos, my experiences are that Costcos are generally cleaner, better stocked and organized. This Sam's Club appeared to be very clean, well stocked and organized. I've been at other Sam's Clubs where it looks like the employees who did the stocking of items just looked for any open space on the sales floor to put a pallet, even though the items don't logically belong in that area. I didn't see any of that type of disorganization in here. Also, at this Sam's Club, I didn't see the usual long checkout lines, and there were a lot of shoppers in the store when I was there. I'm assuming that the management here has their act together when it comes to the level of staffing, both in the number of employees actively working at the level of training that they receive. Worst Sam's Club I've ever been to. For lack of better words. Do not go to the Tire and Battery center because they don't speak English and will lose parts of your car. There will NEVER be a manager available. No one answers the phone in any department. Guest services will intentionally ignore the phone or answer the phone saying "We aren't taking phone calls today." and hang up. Absolutely absurd. The location needs to be shut down. read more

Plus, a Sam's membership comes in handy anytime we need to build a fort out of paper towels, or buy a 55-gallon drum of ketchup. There's a fine line between the economical and cheap. Very disappointed in a recent trip to Sams. I had ordered a cake for a graduation party on a Wednesday for a Saturday AM pick up. I arrived on Saturday AM, and they couldn't find the cake. What's worse... they couldn't find the order form! And tried to say that I had not turned it in. WHAT?!? I'm describing the person I gave it to, but they continue to deny. The party was in a few hours, and I wasn't leaving without my cake. Well, obviously I did. They pulled more and more papers and found my order form. They had placed it in the wrong book. They apologized and asked if I could come back in 30 minutes. I came back 1 hour later and yes the cake was ready, but it was sloppily done. The fondant picture did not adhere to the cake and looked really crappy (I could say other words, but this is a public forum). People at the party couldn't eat it and it was peeling off. What's worse is that they did not apologize when I came back to pick it up OR offer any sort of discount. You can bet that the store manager AND corporate office will be hearing from me. Not a bad Sam's Club. It's usually clean and well-stocked. Prices are very comparable to Costco, some items are even cheaper at Sam's. They don't carry Ore Ida tater-tots anymore, which was one of the main items my family liked to buy here. They have opened the cafe back after COVID, BUT they switched the fountain drinks from Coca-Cola to Pepsi.....which means we just go down the road to QT to get our pizza and coke instead. This is pretty much your typical Sam's Club. Cheaper than Costco memberships, but also not QUITE as good in my opinion. With that said, I joined here due to an exceptional iPhone deal they had running last November and have been using the membership since then as I work very nearby. Gas is usually much cheaper here, which is a definite perk; however, the location of the gas station across the street makes it VERY difficult to get to. At some times of the day I'll just go somewhere else and pay more because I don't feel like dealing with it and risking an accident just for gas. This is a MAJOR flaw in my opinion. Otherwise, this store is basically the standard Sam's - consistent with what they are known for. I do like the self-checkout option a lot as frequently I'm just picking up a few things. I also always recommend coming here during "off" days/times to avoid crazy crowds, but that's the same with any box store. read more

THE CORONA EFFECT: Remember that classic Twilight Zone episode where the aliens were flipping the porch/street lights on and off to watch the Earthlings respond with aggression and suspicion? Uh huh, I am sure that scenario has played out in other areas in the US but thankfully I have not seen or heard of any such shenanigans happening locally, since this virus emerged. Unfortunately, there was a slight panic that set in that resulted in people actually running out and purchasing certain items in large quantities, (I still don't understand the run on toilet paper and paper towels). I certainly understand the food stocking if you have children at home and they need to be able to have easy options and during these times, it is so easy to rely on convenience foods. I have been shopping at Sam's for over thirty years and during this crisis, it has really paid off. I really didn't need to run out and purchase any of the coveted items, (toilet paper, paper towels, liquid hand-soap, sanitizer) because I regularly stock them and won't need to restock them for at least two or three months. The first Saturday that I arrived, they were very well stocked when it came to produce but the meat/seafood was gone. People started gathering around the butcher's window watching them prepare pork while a crew was stocking chicken breast only. Since that was ll that they had availalbe, we decided to leave. When I returned days later, they had a one item limit on certain food and non-food items. If you have a small family this is not a problem because most of their items are packaged in bulk. You will also notice that there are various items that are just not available now, (grass-fed items like lamb and ground beef) and also ribs. They have no control over what is being shipped during this time so you are limited to buying what is available when it comes to meat and cheese. Veggies are plentiful and surprisingly, they have a full stock of chips, cookies and all manner of junk food. Just know that if you shop here, it is best to arrive early as people tend to line up well before the time that it is scheduled to open. Under the circumstances, everyone is very civil and we had no problem exiting through self-check. You do have the option of using the app to scan and pay in order to avoid the lines if it is too busy. Now for the bad news: They are no longer offering samples, but I think that you can still get those famous hotdogs and pizza slices to go. Remember: If you go, go early. You may not be able to get the fresh protein that you want so check the frozen options. You may not be able to get your standards but there are still options available and there are some restrictions. This is a great opportunity to try something new, so be brave and enjoy! UPDATE 3/28: The store opens at 9am Mon-Sat, Sun 10am. They were well stocked and had a variety of meat and seafood this time. You are no longer allowed to bring your own bags due to possible contamination. Checkout was fast and effecient. read more

Joined this Sams Club December 2020...it has what I always want. And that is commercial size plastic wrap and foil. I've been so tired of getting the small flimsy house product plastic wrap and foil. You can get your monies worth buying the commercial sizes. Not only that the wholesale product prices are really a good buy! Buying in bulk is great savings! Be prepared to join to become a member for your business or home. Through the year membership you cannot go wrong....you will most likely end up spending $100 or more if you really want to stock up. Highly recommended! I cannot comment on the customer service complaints other people have complained about I've been able to find what I'm looking for by taking the time to walk around with my cart for about hour. Getting used to where some of the products are....remember though they do at times move things around. GREAT SAVINGS IT REALLY IS! read more

This is my Sam's! I've gone to all the other Sam's Clubs in the metro area and this one is the BEST IMHO. The only thing is that you can't go during peak hours. It's just way too busy. Like my fellow yelper, Madelyn, I love shopping here for holiday decor. I get all of my fall and Christmas decorations here. Many times in the past I've made out in the clearance section in the back of the store. This trip I found some decor pumpkins and microwaveable mugs with lids for soups and such. Sam's has the cheapest gas around. It's usually 5-20 cents cheaper than everywhere else. Problem is that everyone knows this and will wait for it, as that kind of savings adds up! When we stopped here recently, several pumps were out, and the employees were still trying to direct traffic (which was very backed up) and close off the pumps which were not working. I have been to this Sam's before and it's like any other one, but this time I noticed something different. They have a gas station but it's across the street. Ok what's different about that you say. Well it was the first time seeing on across from the Sam's but while getting gas I saw a sign for a car wash. It was a nice day so I decided to try it out. They have the touchless option as well as the regular one and they are the same price. So I try the touchless option. The color of the soap is a rainbow which my daughter loved. I checked the car afterwards and it did a pretty good job. I had to go over my rims but the rest of the car was clean. I will use it again! read more

Three separate phone call requests to the manager of this Sam's Club to call me regarding a warranty issue involving their tire and battery department. I'm still waiting for a return reply. I've also made at least nine separate phone calls to Sam's Club corporate customer service personnel, supervisors, a team leader, a chat session service agent, and an email to a Sam's Club corporate customer service supervisor. Despite all of the time and effort I expended on this matter it remained unresolved over two months after it first occurred. The matter was finally reconciled but not by the store manager, corporate supervisor, or team leader. A phone support line employee took ownership of the problem and saw it through to its proper outcome. 5 stars to the corporate customer service phone support person for eventfully providing a proper solution and 1 star to my local Sam's Club. I recently went there for two new tires, one of the few items worth purchasing there. I made an appointment the day prior and was told it would take 30-45 minutes. Once in the store I was told it would be an hour. An hour later I was told it would be another hour. The tech mounted the tires but made a mess of my aluminum wheels in the process. If Sam's club dirties up a customer's wheels they should be held accountable for cleaning them. Don't expect the customer to correct the problem. read more

This location is about 10 miles away from me, but seems to be better in terms of products carried (yes, not all Sam's clubs carry the same things even when located in close proximity). Tends to be FAR less crowded than both the Marietta locations also. It's a large store, as all Sam's clubs are, but it is well organized. It's easy to go in there looking for one thing and leaving with several more. Have to exercise discipline! I have the Sam's Club app on my phone so I scan goods as I go and I'm able to skip the lines. I'm usually here once a week or so and will be my preferred location for the foreseeable future. read more

This is the best photo lab I have used in a good, long while. My pictures have come out great and the prices are extremely low. I was able to get a customized mousepad for less than $5. These great employees at Sams Club {& nearby Walmart} simply amaze me every time I visit these stores. The attention to Customer Service at Sams Club is impeccable; they beat Walmart hands down. When lines get a bit long at Sams, they open up extra cash registers or folks like Sharon, a Customer Service Rep.(CSR) pitches in wherever needed at checkout, answer questions when looking for a particular item, grabs a scanner to speed up the lines faster, works the desk, helped me in the past cashing my rewards check (applying it to my current bill or some years into cash money) and helping me locate my orders purchased on line. Fantastic Sams Club Employees (such as Sharon, CSR) is one of the reason I have been a Sams Club member for over 20 years; Low prices help a great deal too (LOL).
