Went here again on Friday December 12th 2025 with my mom to pick up her prescription. Note: through no fault of the pharmacy, this is a review with 5/4 stars. This time at around 6/7PM, there was no line, but lots of cars at the drive through. We found a spot and parked. There was no line inside the store, and my mom picked up her prescription right away. While she was in line, I checked out the store again, and again lots of deals, and christmas items. 5 stars for the quick prescription pickup. After picking up our prescription, we went outside, and the line for the drive through was building up and actually blocking our way to get out of the parking lot. I felt that the drive through area was also disorganized because it was busy. Should be more organized and definitely not blocking any traffic to get out of the place. But anyways, after waiting a bit, and doing a few maneuvers we were able to get out. read more

Received an alert that I was due for Covid vaccination. Scheduled 30 days in advance, with multiple reminder texts. Arrived for intake & registration, only to find out that they only had expired & vaccines for another age group. Not a call or text to inform me that I should reschedule. Then I was told they MIGHT have the required vaccine at another location. Then I see every pharmacist & or tech handling meds without gloves on, touching their face & hair in between working with meds. HEALTH ALERT, and no inventory control at all! This is the worst pharmacy I have ever seen. My son is on mental health medication, medication that he cannot afford to miss doses. Every month there is always on if his medication that they are out of, or only have a partial prescription. They do not care about their patients health. I'm currently getting him switched to a new pharmacy. I would not recommend this pharmacy. I hope all Walgreens are not like this!! read more

Every time i call i sit on the phone for over an hour with one caller in front of me just to get hung up on.

They making filing scripts next to impossible. They don't answer the phones, not even for corporate. I've been through every channel to get my son's scripts filled every month! The customer service is horrible! read more

Worst customer service at the pharmacy I've ever seen. Transferred a prescription from CVS since Walgreens was cheaper on GoodRX . Girl at counter said I'd have to contact CVS as they were busy and had over 600 prescriptions in que and she couldn't verify if they received it or not. Pulled up CVS mobile showed it was transferred on July 1. My husband's procedure was scheduled July 14 never received the prescription order. Luckily he was able to get something over the counter somewhere else. So disappointing will never use this pharmacy again. I was in Conway SC recently and my daughter became very sick and was given 3 prescriptions from the hospital at 8pm on a Sunday night. To my surprise Walgreen was open 24 hours. They did not take my daughters insurance there and the pharmacist ran different discounts to try and help us being that one med was 200.00. We finally figured everything out and he was so helpful and I just wanted him to know he was very appreciated for that. Thank you for the time and effort you put in for us that night. 6-29-25. Wait times, both in store and drive through are always backed up. Cannot depend on their automated message when refilling prescriptions. Will tell you when it will be ready then when you get there it's not ready or they pull out some federal regulations that prevent them from selling it to you. read more

I have been to Walgreens Pharmacies all around the country. This one is the worst I have ever seen. Cashiers walk away from the counter with a line of 4+ people to go stock. Cashiers walk away from the counter to service people at the window and leave customers at the counter, this is after the pharmacist walked away from the window. After waiting in line behind 3 people, a man walks in and the Pharmacist comes back over and helps him when I've been standing there for about 20 minutes and this man just walked through the door. This is the worst run pharmacy I have ever seen. read more

My husband had a refill on his meds. He paid the full copay and received a small portion of his refill. When he went back, they said he could get more, but not the full refill due to a back order, and that he would then need to pay his full copay amount for a 3rd time to get the rest to - complete this monthly refill. So they wanted us to pay 3 copays for 1 monthly refill. I understand the back order and that sometimes meds are not available, but paying 3 times for 1 refill seems wrong. If they are billing us 3 times, are they also billing BCBS 3 times for partial refills? Seems like insurance fraud. I asked questions and was told they are allowed to do that, per our insurance... I will talk to my insurance to find out more. When people need life sustaining medications, companies should not be trying to take advantage of individuals. I do not believe that they are allowed to charge 3 times the copay for 1 refill. read more

I am so sick and tired of being treated so poorly by a store. The staff is slow and uncaring. The staff changes all the time and seem to be untrained. Lied to many times, for example - the last time it they told me they would take an hour to fill my prescription because of all the waiters when I was the only person there. This time they screwed up and I had already waited on line 1 hour! Only when I said I would not move my car did they help and amazingly ready in 5 minutes. Terrible store, terrible service. Don't go here if you have any options at all. You will be treated like dirt. read more

I've been in the drive thru line for 40 mins for just one car to move. It is ridiculous how slow the drive thru is. Hope you have plenty of time when picking up medicine here. At least the staff is friendly whenever you finally make it to the window. read more

This is the worst pharmacy I've ever seen. Been here for an hour when arriving on time for a pick up to watch every single person be rudely told by the manager that their system is wrong and they can not do anything about it. The manager is pretentious, rude and condescending. I will never get a prescription filled here again as it's always a slow, unorganized, low brain activity affair. read more

Near always delaying needed medications, lying to Walgreen customers and other unethical practices. Management is poor with not showing a desire to resolve issues at this pharmacy. We do not recommend this Walgreens to anyone. read more

So disappointed in the pharmacy, specifically the pharmacy manager. She was repeatedly rude and dismissive. In a time when there are so many choices for pharmacy needs I would expect better customer service. I work in retail and would never talk to my customers the way I was talked to. Scheduled both of my Covid-19 vaccines here and it was beyond unorganized the both times I went. They tell you to arrive 15 minutes early, but if you arrive early they turn you away because the people before you still have to show up and fill out paperwork, so arriving early is pointless. They also ask you to print out paperwork and fill it out to bring, but they just throw it out or don't use it when you arrive and make you fill out new paperwork anyways. They didn't have any consent forms ready to go when we went so after waiting for being too early we had to wait even longer for them to figure out how to print or get more forms. Then you have to wait another half hour or so near prescription pick up and there isn't really a clear area for people to line up or sit so it gets very busy and very confusing. The entire process to get a vaccine takes about an hour and a half to two hours. I'm grateful to have both doses and the staff was very kind, however, I would never get a vaccine here again after seeing how unorganized it is and the fact that it takes way too long to have something so simple done. read more

Don't fucking go here. I had been trying to call them for a day and a half, no answer until the next day After REPETITIVE calls. I tried using the voice thing to check on my prescription when it said processing and then it doesn't exist. They completely failed to contact me about the fact that my inscurance couldnt be used here and they can't fil my prescription. When I did finally get an answer the guy cut me off before I could even finish my scentence's. Don't waist your time with this unorganized, uncomfy astablishment. read more

I hope I've found the right location to review. If this is the Walgreens in Conway where a gal named Pat works, then I have the right place. I've never reviewed a drugstore before, and might never again, but I was so pleased with my quick, random stop in this place on our way to Myrtle Beach, that I had to say something. Realizing that I (of course) forgot to bring a couple items with me on our trip, we spotted this Walgreens. Routine stop, I thought. What made it something memorable and worthy of a report? A gal named Pat, who came up behind me on the shampoo aisle and said "Can I help you find anything?" Normally I would have quickly said, "I'm just looking", but stunned that I was even asked that question in a drugstore, I said "Oh, I'm just looking for a good deep hair conditioner". She thought for a moment, then pointed out a product that she said she had heard good reports about. Looked good, not too expensive...I grabbed a couple and she led me back to her register, where she proceeded to look through some coupons that she offered to save me a couple bucks! Then, when it turned out they were buy one get one half price, she seemed so genuinely pleased for me that I was saving even more money. You could FEEL the warmth from this kind, helpful, caring woman. I said to her: "You have MADE my day". What a surprise that a random, quick stop in a drugstore could make me feel what she said to me as I was leaving: "Have a blessed day too". Oh, and she was right about the hair conditioner. By far the worst experience I've ever had at a Walgreeens. This Walgreens is at 1601 Church St in Conway, SC. I called at 10:40 am requesting to fill my sons antibiotic but they would need to transfer the prescription from the Georgetown location as they were all out of stock. I was informed that it would be ready in an hour and a half. I did not arrive to the store until 1:30 pm so amble time to have it ready. I was then told it wasn't ready yet that it would be another 15-20 minutes. I came back an hour later, called the pharmacy from the parking lot and it was still not ready and they hadn't even pulled the prescription yet. I then went inside, while the pharmacy tech called me back, I could see and hear her, as she proceeded to talk badly about me and complain about the situation that they screwed up. I wouldn't rely on Walgreens for a dying family member because it's obvious Walgreen doesn't care about anyone. read more

I WILL NEVER EVER GO BACK TO THIS WALGREENS ON CHURCH STREET. The service at the pharmacy is the worst I have ever experienced. The doctor at the Conway ER suggested this location to have a prescription filled at this so called 24 hour location. I walked in with a simple script for ear drops. There were no other people waiting and yet I stood there watching one employee counting pills for over 1/2 hour. There is no reason that the drops could not have been dispensed within a reasonable time. 45 mins to an hour with no line-up is unacceptable. I left the store without the drops as I could no longer wait. I will tell everyone I know to never shop there. I know word-of-mouth works for great service, but I assure you I will tell every person I know or meet about this awful experience. IF this is the kind of 24 hr service that Walgreens provides, they will lose more customers than just me. CVS will be my choice in the future. read more
