Went here for the 1st time with a group of friends on Wednesday May 20th 2026. They actually have a costco membership, my parents and I don't. Although years ago we lived in the bronx and used to go to the costco there! We also though live in conway, and use a competing company. Anyways, In case you're wondering- what is costco- it is a wholesale club, which means one has to pay to join that sells items in bulk, and in this case is also a retailer which sells electronics like tvs, and appliances like refrigerators. We started our day with turkey sandwiches, some pizza, and some soda. Pizza was very good and enjoyable. They also have a variety of other snacks, like cookies, popcorn, and more! Lots more choices at the food stand! After we ate our pizza, we looked around the store and was surprised to see options like mattresses, bedding, bath towels, carpets, grills, some appliances like refridgerators, washing machines, and more. Not only that but they had options of some different colors of bedding items, bath towels. They also have a produce section with different areas in like a refrigerated room, as well as the usual store section which sold cereal, garbage bags, ETC. Store was clean and organized, although some of the items are on the expensive side. We brought raspberries, eggrolls, and some veal. Cashier was pleasant. Then, we went back to the food stand and got some Ice Cream. They have lots of options for the ice cream too! I got chocolate with chocolate syrup, and my dad got the chocolate twist, and my mom got vanila. I enjoyed my ice cream too! Enjoyed our visit to costco and may be back again! read more

Everyone that I've ever met that has ever been to Costco when walking in the front door, their eyes glazes over as if they're looking at the promised land, I am not excluded from this phenomenon. The Costco in Myrtle Beach I find quite pleasant. The staff is more than eager to assist you with anything you need and the management addresses all concerns honestly with integrity until you're satisfied. Furthermore, I am extremely proud of Costco for filing a lawsuit against the orange melon head that sits in a chair in the Oval Office. Honestly, what a terrible waste of air. Secondly, could you imagine anyone sleeping with him without being properly medicated with some antipsychotic medication nevertheless I digress. Costco has always offered customers extreme savings while giving them exactly what they want and never overcharge them. In many cases eating the tariff excess charges. This is why I will be a life long customer of Costco. This year all my Christmas gifts have come from Costco minus one or two. I feel as if I've actually saved money and virtually all the gifts were cheaper than I could have found on Amazon. The only complaint I could have about Costco in Myrtle Beach is I wish there was a location closer to where I live . Costco gas at Myrtle Beach is the same price as local gas stations! And I pay a membership fee for WHAT?

We visited here with a friend, who's a member, for our first Costco experience; it was quite amazing. First of all, we came mid-afternoon on a Thursday; and the place was as busy as any Walmart we've seen on a Fri/Sat evening. The place is an attraction in of itself; capitalism on steroids (and that's meant as a compliment). The selection of items is awe-inspiring. The $1.50 hotdog & drink at the end of the visit, was a fitting conclusion to the experience. (We also surprisingly had the best almond croissants we've had in Myrtle Beach, from their packaged bakery section; we'd join Costco just for those, if we had one near us back home.) read more

A few days ago, my husband I bought two new cell phones. Our sales person, John K, was very helpful to the point that he gave us a better recommendation than the folks at the Costco store in Wilmington. He saved us a lot of money by checking out the various options, moved us from Verizon to T-Mobile. We got a much better price by changing companies. Came for gas, there was surprisingly no line for gas. It was clean and of course the cheapest gas in the area.

"Delivery and Set-up" of dishwasher only included delivery (another appliance ordered month before was set-up as promised). Customer service accused me multiple times of not "scrolling down to see they don't set-up in my zip code" even though order clearly stated Set-up was included. After much effort and frustration they did agree to reimburse an amount for installation. Finding service took over 4 weeks and cost more than double what they offered. Contacted Customer Service to ask for increase in reimbursement and found them unrepentant for issues (time 4 hours plus, delay 4 wks plus, frustration, etc.) caused by their internal errors and offered only $25 more....never was there an apology!!! It also appears they never fixed their system; as prior to writing this, I ordered same appliance and "Delivery and Set-up" for zip code was listed! read more

We came here to get prime beef filet mignon steaks we could not find any other store in a 20 mile radius of Myrtle Beach that carried prime beef. We found the meat counter and talked to the butcher that directed us to the four packages of fillets in each package totaling 3 pounds each. I am writing this review because I went in today to purchase another rug like the one I bought yesterday. I went to find one and saw that there was not one on the floor so I went to the front-end supervisor to see if they could check and locate one in backstock. It is important to note that this is the same person I dealt with previously about a patio bar and once again, he seemed put-out that he had to do something other than answering a question at his station. He said that he would have to get someone to go in the back and that will take a while- I got the impression that he hoped I would say forget it. I had a similar interaction with him and the patio bar. I said I would walk around for a while so they could look for the rug. I shopped around the store for probably 20 minutes or so and when I went back up front no one had even went to the back to look for the rug! And then they had the nreve to ask me if I had looked for it in the rack! Another man went to look and I waited again- I had to seek him out to find out if he found the rug. No, he did not. According to them, they had over 270 rugs in that brand on hand so I am hoping that when someone finally gets around to restocking there may be one that I want. The reason I am frustrated is the lack of customer service that I have encountered not once, but twice at this store with the same person. And to top it off, the person checking reciepts was a jerk too! Wow, makes me never want to come back to Costco. And just to let you know, I can purchase the rug I want on line, but Costco charges $40 more if I have to do this- which I don't understand. So, in conclusion, I will think hard about renewing this membership when it is time. read more

I love the Kirkland products and the consistency of inventory. I'm seriously disappointed that they didn't put in a gas station at the Gate location when it was built - instead I patronize the shell station using my T-Mobile Tuesday upgrade of my FuelRewards. The team members at all the stores I've been to are always helpful in locating specific items and helping to load heavy items into my cart and then into my car. We finally did it. Our family has a Costco membership. We resisted for many years, as we lived in a small condo in midtown Atlanta, but now that we've moved to coastal Carolina, we have more room to store bulk goods, which is why Costco exists. (Right?) In addition to saving money on bulk necessities like TP, paper towels, tissues, cleaning supplies and laundry detergent, the Myrtle Beach Costco also has a liquor store on site. It's located in a separate area, with its own checkout, just outside the main store. The selection is decent, but we were disappointed in the lack of variety in the rum and bourbon sections. (Wish list: Cruzan white rum and Old Forrester bourbon.) Good prices, though, on what is available, like one of my personal favorites, Tito's Vodka. Having shopped previously at the Wilmington Costco with my parents, the Myrtle Beach store is similar, and yet different. For one, MB has the liquor store. Nice touch. But to me, the MB store feels more crowded, whereas the Wilmington store is more open, less claustrophobia-inducing, and also has a wider selection of gluten free foods. It's still a shock to buy meats in such large quantities when there's only two of us in our family, but we made good use of the large packages of beef brisket, chuck, and boneless chicken thighs. My husband ground half the beef to make burgers, and cut up the rest to freeze for other dishes. He also ground 2/3 of the chicken thighs for burgers, so we have a a freezer full of food to last until our next Costco adventure. Happy to report the meat is high quality and delicious. Also high quality and delicious? The Kirkland brand of Brie cheese, imported from France. We'll be back for more. read more

This review is based on Pharmacy only at moment. I have to say I been diabetic for about 2 years and started my meds right away,after 2 years the staff of Pharmacy is top notch. Anitta,Steve and the muscled long hair guy really take time make sure I am set and etc.. Even this morning I called because I had a very important question, Anitta knew me through phone and promptly had Steve the pharmacist on phone,putting me at ease and answering all my questions with out making me feel stupid. Avoid this location if you're a non-member wanting to eat at their cafeteria. At other Costco locations, I've always understood that that cafeteria, the pharmacy, and the eye glasses store was free to the public--not at this location. My roommate and I went in to get a bite to eat and they said that the cafeteria is a "perk" for members. Since when? I thought the warehouse itself is the "perk." Last time I checked, the membership is to get in the door to shop for bulk items for a good price. I'm from Alaska and the Costco in Anchorage always let non-members in to eat--heck, even high school and college kids would come there for their lunch break (who were non-members). This isn't the friendly neighborhood Costco as I've remembered it. Definitely a different location with different, non-member opposing policies. If you're a non-member, they'll purposely exclude you from the cafeteria. read more

We quickly learned groceries in ocean isle beach are crazy expensive so we found the closest Costco. This Costco was just like ours in Michigan. Offered all the same things but was laid out backwards from ours. We purchased all our meat for the week hear. Two flank steak we're $23 vs. 1 flank steak was $23 at the local store. We were on vacation and wanted to head here to get my new addiction--Kirkland Margaritas (which we can't get in our state due to liquor sale laws). I had called ahead to make sure they carried it and it was in stock...but I never thought to check the hours--I just assumed the liquor section would be open the same as the general store hours. NOPE. We got there at 7:15 and the liquor closed at 7. UGH--so we wasted an hour round trip. When we returned the next day, we first had a return from our local NC store--which they adeptly handled even though it was a semi-confusing alcoholic beverage return. For as many people as there seemed to be, the store didn't seem that crowded--which was nice. We also liked that they had random assortments of low-stock items for discounted prices. The checkout went quickly and smoothly and everyone was friendly. Then it was off to the liquor area where we quickly grabbed about $200 of Kirkland-branded stuff we can't get at home. read more

Me and my family were wearing our masks down to our chins for a few seconds and literally every employee there went full on "Mad Karen" on us. Went bought plenty of stuff too. The free sample people are not as knowledge about the products as they are at my home Costco, but they still had samples out which is a great way to try foods before you buy them. We purchased a demo Imac for a lower cost than usual and was told it had the original Apple warranty. Once I took it home and set it up I realized it had 2 accounts on it and no one had given me the passwords for them. I called the store and was told that no one there knew what they were. Having worked in the computer field for over 40 years on Windows PCs I decided to call Apple and have them walk me through a wipe and reinstall of the OS, which they did. But they also told me it had no warranty and no way to get one, even an extended one through apple care. I then call Costco again and they gave me BS about it having a Costco Concierge service that handled warranty's, so I called them. Some kid who wasn't very helpful and after much prodding finally looked at something and said it does have an apple and a costco warranty but wouldn't give me any other information, not even the serial number of the item he was looking at. I then call Apple support, again, and was told no it didn't have any warranty through them and could not get one since it was 2 years old. Be careful, If you decide to buy a demo/display item from them make sure you get it in writing what the warranty is because all they'll do is jerk you around. Hopefully this PC will not have any hardware issues for a long time. Also I spent a lot of time cleaning this thing up, creating accounts updates etc and they only thing Costco could say was bring it back for a refund if I wasn't happy. Great warehouse shopping. This store is clean and the associates and cashiers are friendly, helpful and polite. Set up like virtually any other Costco or BJ's, so if you know the store, it is easy to navigate through. Liquor is sold in a separate unit outside the main store. Just got gas at Costco. $2.62 gal. No price gouging during this crisis. Wow!!!! The whole experience was handled like the best run business ever!!!!!! I was in line for 20 minutes. The line was easily 50 cars deep. But it just kept moving. Employees directed me and even helped at the pump as this was my first time buying gas at Costco. We absolutely love going to Costco. Who would have ever thought that they would have a fantastic selection of workout pants, cute skorts and even pajamas. We easily spend $800 a month at Costco and it's not just food. You can get great deals and the store is so clean. Kevin at the gas station was pleasant and cheerfully pumped my gas (I was in some pain from a fall)! Someone took my cart when I went to the ladies room and an employee quickly went and got me another, even offered to re-shop for me (but there was only one thing in the basket so all was good)! Produce manager helped me figure out what other store in the area might have the best deal on produce their Costco didn't carry! I ask Charlie at the exit if he was ready for Christmas and he (politely, with a smile) indicated he would be happy when it was over. Evidently the customers in SC don't have much Christmas spirit and patience. (My words, not his.) He got a hug!!! I would drive to this Costco from Indiana weekly if I could. We come to this Costco everytime we're down in the Myrtle Beach area. It has everything we need to stock our home with yummy food and the beer, wine, and liquor prices can't be beat. The kirkland brand wine is affordable and actually pretty good. The cases of beer they have area always a great price too! And I love the kirkland vodka. Oh also the kirkland margarita mix is SOO good. Just pour it over ice and you're ready to enjoy. They're fast at getting people through the lines and they also have cheap gas. I wouldn't recommend getting your produce from here since it's either already ripe or very ripe. I bought several fruits and veggies that started going bad within the next two days. I was very disappointment that I had to throw out almost an entire box of peaches that I had bought because they went bad within two days of purchase. I think it's worth shopping here if you're a family of more than two. I do like to shop here for some snacks and frozen foods as well as house goods and cleaners. Everything comes in bulk and sometimes it's more than you need but it comes at a discounted price that's hard to pass up. Do your research before you go or join with their membership. You get a booklet of coupons and other perks as a member. They offer vacation packages at discounted prices and even have their own car service center. read more
