By my estimation, this Walgreens location is in the running for the best Walgreens in all of Queens. I think that the head pharmacist is especially professional, and her professionalism inspires other staff members. Admittedly, the role of pharmacist in NYC can be a thankless job. This phenomenon is compounded by 1) ungrateful patients and 2) the ubiquity of paperless/electronic prescriptions. First, the average New Yorker is not especially lavish in his or her praise. Out-of-staters would do well to add at least one star to any New Yorker-curated review. Second, I'd venture to say that an overwhelming majority of states continue to use paper prescriptions without complication. The misguided practice of electronic prescription shifts the onus of safeguarding prescriptions to the pharmacist. Someone who is constantly receiving an endless supply of traceless prescriptions. Environmental concerns and opioid abuse notwithstanding, medical prescriptions are sufficiently important to justify a paper trail. It stands to reason that it is infinitely easier for any given patient or a licensed caretaker to manage that patient's 2 or 3 paper prescriptions. In fact, the Fourth Amendment's prohibition against unreasonable searches and seizures applies where a person has a reasonable expectation of privacy. As the country's strictest paperless prescription law, to date, the 2016 state law arguably violates the Fourth Amendment of the U.S. Constitution. After all, a reasonable expectation of privacy could not be more evident outside the patient-physician relationship. In effect, the New York State legislature's improvident measure forces New York patients to choose a private third party (typically a pharmacy) for electronic disclosure of their sensitive medical information as a condition precedent to many medical treatments. But I digress...this is not a Yelp review for the New York State legislature. This will be about the pharmacy/pharmacist only. Even if this is the only place on earth with medication that can save your life do not come here. The lead (or who i am assuming is the lead pharmacist since i have seen her there for years and years) is without question disgusting and rude. I have come here and called multiple times for different medications and each visit/phonecall was met with hostility from this pharmacist. This person made me feel stupid for politely asking questions over the phone and their tone was unhelpful and judgemental. Whenever I come to pickup prescriptions in person, the other people/pharmacists I see who usually are at the register are wonderful, but whenever this lady takes over, my experience becomes more drawn-out and unpleasant. I feel that the nature of my presciptions has an effect on the way this person treats me. I hate leaving reviews and I truly hate leaving this one, but I feel that it is necessary due to the unacceptable behavior here and I know I am not the only one since I have witnessed the same treatment towards other customers here. Tldr: they either hate helping you or enjoy making this process difficult, but either way do NOT come here. read more

I use this Walgreens because it is convenient for me for the most part they seem to always have what I need considering I mainly come in for prescription pick up & occasional miscellaneous items. Although the pharmacy is not my favorite because they do not have convenient hours. It is a very large location , everything for the most part is set up nicely through out the store. Checking out can be pain sometimes as they don't seem to have enough people the lines tend to get long usually once they realize the lines they end up getting another cashier to open. During the quarantine they did a good job at keeping the crowds organized, lines outside & limited amount coming in. Can't say it was fun waiting online to enter but because of COVID for now this seems to be the new normal & worked out ok. read more

I have to come here often for the pharmacy. This has got to be one of the worst Walgreens pharmacies I've ever been to. No matter if its 3 or 10 people on line. They seem to only have 1 person at the pharmacy helping customers, and 5 people back there. Ive literally waited over an hour before. Today I waited 30 mins with only 3 people ahead of me. I dread coming here. I gave them 2 stars because they are a good location, but there is a Walgreens across the street that is 24 hrs and has better sales. read more

I come here once or twice a year for my flu shot. This review only reflects my experiences with the pharmacy department at this store. The only reason I come here is because Feng Guan, RPh, is among the kindest pharmacists who administer flu shots I have ever had the opportunity to meet. Yes, she stabs me, but she's so nice about it. Yes, Corona is totally out of the way for me, but seeing an old friend, Feng, twice a year for my flu shot is totally worth the extra miles on the car. The area surrounding this Walgreens is actually filled with possible little gems to explore. I was here at around 9 a.m. on a Sunday and there was a giant line of people waiting to buy what appeared to be corn from a street vendor. I need to come back and explore! Parking is exceedingly difficult most days, but the area behind this Walgreens has metered parking areas if you're lucky enough to find a spot! read more

Don't really like the customer service here, this store doesn't have as much in stock that is on the flyer, and when I have the large flyer, they dont' want to honor the price on the bigger ad. Most Walgreen stores are the same, but this one manages to separate itself from them, and not largely in a good way either. read more

Great pharmacy . I get my sons prescription here. They text you when its ready and all. Love it . Instead of having to wait or rush . It's open late so that's a perk. Pricing is good. Cheap toys and great deals. It has a competitor across the street but still manages. The staff are nice and friendly. Store is kept pretty clean and organize makes looking for stuff easy. read more

I am Not happy with this place. Usually Walgreens has a lot of stuff in stock but this place is seriously lacking in stocking a lot of regular items that other locations readily have available. Where are the employees? This store reflects the area..Sh**** Corona.I thought the Walgreens locations were pretty runned down in Jamacia but this one takes the cake here in Corona. This location used to be a really budget theater back in the day that offered two for one movies that were really outdated by at least 6 months by box office standards. I could not find many of the same items I would find easily in their other locations which is why this place gets two stars from me. read more

I can count on this place until midnight if my other pharmacy isn't open. I do like using my rewards card to gain points and I appreciate that they ask me about the card at the counter. Some Associates are more friendly than others but they are all professional. read more
