The store is HUGE, the shelves are well stocked, and this facility is very clean. Associates everywhere, which you don't even see in smaller locations; I would know. Not sure when Walmart started upscaling their items but they had Yankee candies, bougie soap, and name brand shirts. The superstar I want to call out today though is Nathaniel, a really sweet gentleman running the self checkout lanes. He has such a nice smile and lovely disposition, always offering to help customers and ask how everyone's day is going he refilled my checkout lane's receipt paper before I could even ask. I wish all customer service associates could be like him; the world would be a much better place.

All the gorgeous orchids and house plants in the hall- hundreds of dollars worth- dying. It is too bad that the Walmart garden center takes no pride in the beautiful beings known as plants. They throw them all out b/c they don't water them and then jack up prices for consumers. Besides all that, the enormous carbon footprint that is produced contributing to global warming. Go to the local nurseries in town- they care.

Worst pharmacy EVER! I got yelled at by some type of pharmacy manager because I said they ordered…read morethe wrong item for my prescription. I told her that is not what my doctor sent in. She yelled again that it was and that now they were stuck with it because I was not going to buy it. After many phone calls between my doctor and Walgreens, I found out that Walgreens no longer would order my prescription in the form I needed. Walgreens changed the prescription my doctor ordered into a form that they WOULD order! My prescription was for medication in a vial that I could draw my own injection from. Instead, they changed it to an an auto-inject pen. The quantity was the same, but the auto-inject pens cost $400 more per month than if I draw up my own shot. I never knew they could make a change like that. Plus, the lady yelling at me was totally unacceptable. I quit getting my prescriptions there and am saving money using Amazon Pharmacy now! Good bye Walgreens!

Lashonda, who claims to be the pharmacy manager, is very difficult to work with. She's accused me…read moreof not being timely about picking up prescriptions. But then when I asked her which medication I hadn't picked up, she named one that they didn't have for me because insurance hadn't approved it. Then she said I needed to communicate better, and I asked what else I should do, given that I had already gone to three doctor's appointments about that issue, spent over 6 hours on the phone with insurance, and I'd responded to Walgreens' tests and had tried to update prescription requests on their website. Then she told me I needed to call the pharmacy 30 minutes in advance of picking up each prescription. Then she went back to saying I hadn't been picking up prescriptions on time, and I reiterated that I had. Then she said I wouldn't have to complain about how long it took to fill prescriptions when I had never complained about that. When I corrected those false statements, she accused me of interrupting and of arguing with her. Today, I got a "courtesy call" from her -- which was anything but. She said I hadn't picked up my prescriptions in 10 days, and I said that yes, I'd been out of town for 10 days. She said they couldn't hold them longer than that and I'd have to start all over with doctor's orders if I didn't pick them up today -- which isn't possible given that I'm 1000 miles away. I said that people have lives and that sometimes people go out of town. She said I'd had 10 days. I said that sometimes people go out of town for more than 10 days. Then she argued with me about how she had gone out of town plenty of times and had never had a problem with picking up prescriptions. Then she accused me of arguing with her! Then she said I was a problem customer and that maybe their pharmacy wasn't the best choice for me if I was going to constantly argue and be disrespectful. I asked if she was really turning away customers for no clear reason and asked how Walgreens would view that. I asked to speak to a manager and she said she was the manager. I asked to speak to a different manager and she said there was no one else I could talk to and that they didn't need to have anyone talk to me if I was going to constantly be argumentative and disrespectful. I was left feeling baffled. The icing on the cake was that I'd had to leave town for a memorial service and then do some family business and had gotten a migraine in the process of doing all of that. (It would have helped if I could have gotten the migraine meds before I'd left but Walgreens had said it was too soon to fill them.) Even when I told Lashonda I had a bad migraine, she didn't really let up. I never had these problems with the pharmacy at City Market, even after going there for 15 years. I'd only switched to Walgreens because they're the only place in town with a Drive Thru. I'd thought maybe it was just me, but so far two other people have shared similar experiences with Lashonda.

For the past five months I have had to go in MULTIPLE times to get this script refilled. They cannot seem to figure out how to do the autofill. The past five months I have NOT been able to do the injection on time, because of delays caused by this pharmacy. Today I went to get the script that was supposed to be injected yesterday. I was told that it is in, but it won't be unloaded from the truck for multiple hours. Oh that's nice, my doctors office will be closed by then until Monday. So again, I am missing an important medication. This is my last refill after over ten years with Walgreens. Here's to hoping that smiths grasps the concept that when a medication needs to be injected on the same day each month, that I can't sit here and try to be a pharmacist. That's not my job, please don't offer auto refill, or text notifications if these systems DO NOT work. So again, thank you for making me late for a 6th month on an injection.
