I have gone to Pamper Me three times and have been turned away three times. The spa/salon advertises itself as walk in friendly, this is absolutely untrue. The first time I went in was two days before a big event and I had a last minute change in my schedule with my regular nail salon and came in looking for a mani-pedi. I was told they don't have anyone on staff to do mani-pedi's and I should reschedule for next week. That wasn't going to work for me, so I found somewhere else that would accommodate. It was an hour away from their scheduled closing time, so I gave them the benefit of the doubt and came back again during a weekday afternoon. Again, I was turned away told that they don't have any available time t fit me in (there were two patrons on the whole salon. One getting a haircut and another a mani-pedi). I was pretty upset. I came back one last time, on another weekday afternoon, and the salon was empty except for one person cleaning the pedicure seat tubs, a friend she was talking to across the salon and the receptionist. I asked for a mani-pedi and the receptionist asked the person cleaning the tubs if she had time to do one. She walked past me, said she was too busy then promptly walked outside with her friend to continue their conversation and have a cigarette. I will never ever go back again. I have made sure to pass this experience long to everyone I know in Eagle River.

It's also very kid friendly for staff and guests. However I was extremely disappointed in my nails and the process. First is price: I needed a fill, shape and gel color and was quoted $30 on the phone. I know that's cheap but at my regular salon in Honolulu they do it for $38, I thought maybe in a small town like eagle River it'd be even cheaper. However after my nails were done they charged me $60 and told me $30 was only for the fill. Next is color: I showed the guy a picture of blue matte nails with blue glitter accent nails from Pinterest and was told my results would be "dead on." They were definitely not. The matte was still shiny and just looked dull and dirty and the color was completely off. My sister said they looked like witches claws and I had to agree. Finally is process: it took then TWO hours. That's not any wait time either. That's two hours of them working on my nails. I appreciate a thorough job, but sheesh! Also my nail tech passed me off to someone else when another client of his came in and my new nail tech told me the way he had been doing a matte on my nails was wrong. To end: i would only go back to this place if I got a firm price upon arrival before having any work done, knew exactly, and I mean bottle number and everything, what I wanted, and wasn't in any kind of hurry.

In addition, they had 50% off sales signs up, but when I got to the register, I guess, even though the whole display was covered in 50% off signs it was only for one specific product in one specific color. A lot of false advertising. I will never return to the store. The employees made me feel like a thief when they're the ones that messed up setting up the account. I did not like the way they treated me or their attitude. This happened 2/18 around 7pm. I highly recommend driving across town and going to Sephora.

I said no, I am just picking up an order. She said great, the pick up counter is all the way in the back. So instead of wandering around I knew where to go. Picking up the order was very easy and quick. On the way out I checked out a few of the soaps and hand sanitizers near the checkout area. It always amazes me just how many different sentences they have, which is great but that brings me to my only thing I don't like about the store. All the sentences mixed together can be a bit overwhelming.

I was searching for the beach chapstick and asked the cashier as she walked past if they had it and she said they didn't have it. I then looked around when I was and located it. During the time I was looking for the beach chapstick I opened the drawer that was directly below where it should have been. I didn't see it so I closed the drawer and located the chapstick directly in front of me was that hiding in plain sight. While checking out with all my items that totaled $75.84 after discounts the cashier asked if I was an employee. I said no and the cashier replied "you are absolutely not allowed to open the drawers." In a rude and condescending tone. I said I'm sorry, I won't do it again and proceed with my checkout. After leaving my family and I were taking about how rude it was for the cashier to act like that especially after not assisting me in locating the Chapstick. The comment "you are absolutely not allowed to open the drawers" stuck with all of us. My husband said we should return the items based on our customer experience and we all agreed. No business should receive a customer's money when the employee is rude. While returning the items my husband informed the same employee that we were returning the items based on her attitude. The employee said she was sorry for the way she acted and my husband said "we are absolutely returning these based on your attitude and the way you treated us." My husband said there are no signs informing customers not to open the drawers where extra items are located. The employee agreed and said you are correct there aren't any signs informing customers.
