So... we started off rough, they gave me Insulin that expired within two months. However, once I saw it and brought it back they corrected it and gave me proper insulin with minimal issues (they had to order it) and they looked into the computer glitch that let them dispense it. Then today, the whole staff went above and beyond to sort out all my sons diabetic supplies , insurance, referrals, and co pays. They have high volume here and they really try to serve each person- which takes time. Walgreens, give them more help. They care-- let them do their jobs well and not feel strained all day. They have 100% redeemed themselves and made me feel better about everything with my son's life threatening condition. read more

Over the past year, the 14 and Orchard Walgreens has continuously gone down hill. My prescriptions used to be filled on a timely basis. Now I get conflicting messages from them saying prescription is ready and then another that it is not ready. Today I spent 30 minutes at the drive thru window waiting to be helped while I watched them continuously help new people walking up in line while they ignored me and the growing line-up of cars behind me. I will be moving my prescriptions to another non Walgreens pharmacy after today's experience. read more

Had a 4:20 appointment for flu and Covid vaccine. It's 4:45 and I have never seen a slower moving pharmacy. Was a Rite Aid patient and it was so much faster and efficient. read more

This is the worst pharmacy. It takes FOREVER! I waited in the car line for 40 minutes to be told that they just got the script (not true! I was with the nurse when she pushed the button and I waited over two hours before I came to get it.) She said it wasn't ready and to come back in an hour. I came back an hour later. Waited another 40 minutes to be told it wasn't ready. It's eye drops! They don't have to count anything. Put a sticker on the box and give it to me!!! I'm back and waiting in another long line. I'm in pain and had to leave work several times for this and now have screaming kids in the car. Absolutely unacceptable. It is like this every single time I come. They are short staffed always. Slow drive thru - waiting already for 20 minutes. Can't even get out of line due to cars are behind me.

I'm definitely a fan of this location! I always come here to get my prescriptions filled. The pharmacy is generally quick, and when I opt for the drive-thru, there generally aren't cars in the line. I'm not usually picky in terms of location for my photo orders, but they're good here. Sometimes I've had to wait a ridiculously long time to be waited on, but other times it's been an average wait time. All the locations I go to (Southfield, West Bloomfield & Farmington Hills) don't seem to have their photo counter readily staffed, so there's always somewhat of a wait. One thing I will say about their photo department - I ordered 2 11x15 prints. When I went to pick them up, the lady couldn't find them. Eventually she did find them, and ended up giving them to me for free because they didn't have a "tag" on them to be rang up. I was pretty excited about that. I hope that might happen to me again someday. Staff is friendly. Store is clean. Shelves are stocked. Never had an issue. What more can you ask for? read more

Went online to make flu shot vaccination appointment. Their system makes you select specific vaccination you need and select location and time- everything seemed normal, it sent me a confirmation. Showed up and they say they don't have any more flu shots. Why did their website allow me to make an appointment specifically for flu vaccine then?? "They don't know." I've been coming to this location for years and the customer service is almost always top notch. There have been a few issues at the pharmacy, however the manager and staff have been able to correct the mistakes in a timely fashion. Jasmine is one of their top employees! No matter how busy (or not) the pharmacy is here, it will take a half hour to get your prescriptions. Also, you can be waiting in line for 20 minutes and they will still take the drive-up ahead of you, even if the car in the drive-up just arrived. Except for the one time I used the drive-up. I had to wait 25 minutes to be helped. These guys need to hire competent help. read more

This Walgreens location is very convenient for me as it is down the street from my job. The store is always clean and the staff are extra friendly. Beverly, the pharmacist is awesome! Every year this Walgreens offers onsite flu shots for our employees and are always pleasant to work with. I've only had one annoying experience with this Walgreens and it was with regard to their policy with purchasing Visa gift cards. It is Walgreens policy that they require cash or debit cards to purchase them. This was such an inconvenience for me as I had a company credit card that I needed to use to purchase on behalf of the company. Purchasing a Visa gift card, specifically a Vanilla gift card there are no exclusions to tender that to be used for forms of payment. So this is a Walgreens specific policy in place. I realized upon going back to work and sharing my experience that other employees had no issue purchasing Visa gift cards with their company provided credit card. So it seems Walgreens employees don't consistently follow their own policies, only when it's convenient for them. No worries, moving forward I use Kroger on Middlebelt and 11 mile as my go to place for these purchases. read more

I'll start by saying that the staff is very friendly here, and I will not take that away from them. The problem is the pharmacy. They are always understaffed. There's always a very long wait to pick prescriptions and OTC items up whether inside or at the drive-thru. Today was a perfect example: my husband is not feeling well so he dropped off 2 prescriptions. We received no text notification to let us know it was ready. He called and was put on hold for 25 MINUTES! I told him to call the store and ask for someone to go back and find out. After being transferred 3 different times, the store manager finally confirmed his prescriptions were ready. Unacceptable. In the 2 years we have lived in this area, their computer systems have gone down where we couldn't even pick up our prescriptions. I have used Walgreens for years but think it's time to find a new place for my family's prescriptions. read more

I have used this pharmacy for years and I agree that they are nice and helpful, but I also agree that they could be better staffed and more efficient. This is especially true of the drive-thru. Whatever you do don't ever, ever, ever go through the drive-thru. They largely ignore the drive-thru customers and once you are in the line, there is NO escape. You are just stuck waiting. I have waited over 1/2 hour with only one person in each lane at the windows, ahead of me. read more
