They also have a microwave, which is nice if you buy a packaged breakfast sandwich or something that needs to be warmed up. It's a small store but they have A LOT! Prices are the same as shopping at any other corner store or gas station. I love that they are open early (usually around 630). The store is always clean and organized. Staff are super friendly and nice. Just outside of the store they have seating via wooden table and chairs or just downstairs couches, more tables and chairs. They prefer you use cash but they do accept cards.

My husband was not accepting that as the reason for not having a clean truck and came out with another car wash that still did not clean the truck. I have been to a bunch of different Holiday gas stations to wash my truck and never had this issue so my recommendation is to just not go to that one where the manager does not believe in customer service but does believe in yelling at customers.

It has not been unusual for it to take 30 seconds or longer for the dispenser to recognize that a credit card has been inserted and to begin the process of pushing buttons to get gas. Today, it wouldn't even recognize my card. Fed up with the state of things at this Holiday (not to mention the loud videos that constantly emanate from the dispenser), I drove across University Ave to the local Speedway station. What a breath of fresh air! First of all, no loud videos! Dispensing gas in peace! What a concept! Secondly, a fast, smooth transaction and dispensing experience. Lastly, touchscreen! Worked nearly-flawlessly! I'll be going to the station across the street from now on for most of my gasoline needs.

I've raised the issue with the employees and they mostly just look at me with no reaction much less an answer...as they stand safely behind a plastic barrier. One employee told me their manager told them not to do anything because it can be dangerous to confront someone about not wearing a mask. Really? I've seen an employee kick out a customer because they were complaining that the coffee wasn't ready. If employees don't serve people without masks, then the customer will more than likely leave. If the don't, then call the police. Why am I and other loyal customers repeatedly put at risk because your stores won't/don't enforce mask wearing? I've seen it at multiple stores in the metro area..and yet don't experience this issue in any other establishments I frequent. It's unacceptable and has caused me to shop elsewhere.

But I feel that, as a chain, they have gone downhill since being bought by the Couche-Tard. For example, inexplicably, they changed their soda machines, and they are now worse. (They did used to be a close second to my favorite. Now I avoid them for drinks.) This particular location is poorly laid out and it makes it difficult to find things. There is also trouble in the parking lot - because of they layout, people have difficulty figuring out when it is their turn to go. It's very cramped. So, inside and out is poorly designed. But the one thing that kept me coming back, when I was going to the attached Taco Bell, was the fact that they had Earl's Cheese Puffs. I guess I shouldn't be surprised that they went the way of the good soda machine during the Couche-Tard acquisition. But I can still be disappointed.

Stopped in for Icee!…read more "SA" isn't my go-to gas station (I actually rarely get gas here). Over the last several weeks I seen them advertising a 'pineapple mango Icee'. I really wanted to try it! Plus they have a promo where all sizes of icees are only 79 cents (before tax). The largest size here is 24 ounces. This location offered 5 different flavors of Icee (blue raspberry, cherry, Mountain Dew, tropical fusion & pineapple mango). I ended up mixing Blue Raspberry & pineapple mango! Very good. The tropical fusion wasn't working when I stopped in but sounds like a good flavor as well. Store for the most part looked clean, neat & fully stocked. Not much interaction with the staff. Gas prices were the same as anywhere else in the neighborhood (expect Sam Club, which is where I go for gas, usually about 10 cents cheaper). They do have a rewards program where you save a few cents per gallon which is nice.
