they had horrible customer service and a worker followed us around like inmates for a few minutes before asking us to leave. i admit, we were throwing a ball around, but we respectfully put it down when she (rudely) asked us to. afterwards, we were looking for something that we couldn't find, but she just kept following us around before we could find what we were looking for. when i asked why we were being kicked out, she said "because i have the authority!" like some white supremacist. in conclusion, this was a horrible walgreens experience and i really like walgreens, i might have to switch my business elsewhere read more

I have gone to this Walgreen's many of times, most of the times to print pictures (photo-finishing) The staff is very friendly, and all the cashiers and most of the managers recognize me. It is open 24 hours a day, but I have just gone there between 8:00am and 5:00pm. read more

I was in your store two days ago and was greeted with your employee COUGHING AND COUGHING. That was my greeting in your store not hello but a cough. She was clearly very sick and shouldn't have been working. If she had to work she should have been in an area where she wasn't around customers. I picked up the items I needed and went to the counter to checkout and who was my cashier? The COUGHING woman. She coughed over my items, I had her put the receipt in the bag. I used my hand sanitizer in the car. I'm sorry she's Ill, I'm sure work was the last place she wanted to be. This flu that's going around is very serious and shouldn't be taken lightly. My sons prescription was faxed to 2 locations. I went to the location I had asked the doctor to fax it to and it wasn't there. I had to get out of line and call my doctor. They said it was indeed faxed. When I went back through the pharmacist said he got it but my insurance was rejecting the claim. So I said fine I'll just pay for it. I get out of line again and wait. Meanwhile calling the insurance company. They inform me of the double fax so since the pharmacist seemed to not be of any help at this location I decided to go to the Hoffman location. Nick the pharmacist there was amazing. He was so helpful and that means a ton to a Mama with a sick 3 year old. He is the reason for my review today! read more

I have never waited so long to be waited on or even acknowledged at a walgreens pharmacy before. Not that any are particular great or friendly. When I returned the next day to pick it up, not only did they decide to refill my name brand to a generic for no apparent reason, especially given that my last fill was name brand. They tried to over charge me $33. And Of course they couldn't correct the problem immediately so I had to come back a third time and wait for my correct prescription. Horrible customer service. I'll travel for work and thought a national chain would be easiest. I'll be going back to family owned pharmacies after this. There you actually find people willing and eager to help! read more

Absolutely WORST PHARMACY that I have ever used. Every time when i try to refill my prescription it takes much much longer than other Walgreens locations. I always receive a message you order has been delayed. Last time when a prescription was faxed to my doctor, i was not even notified when the response was received. NOT a fan of this location. Poor location (off of major street that gets backed up constantly), poor service (never enough employees and they never smile), and it's poorly run. I'm switching my prescription to another Walgreens as it's always an ordeal to go here and I constantly have to wait at least 10-15 minutes to pick up a prescription. Absolutely ridiculous. I just spent 45 minutes on hold waiting to see about a refill. I finally hing up and called the manager and said this is a little extreme. She said yes it is i will transfer you---bam--- back on hold! If they cant handle this perhaps they shouldnt be advertising how great they are. Now 20 minutes later and still nothing. And dont say well we have automated refills that u can re order. That doesnt work and even if it did i need to find out which one they texted me about. Cant even get that far. I find all walgreens are out of line but this is the worst. Unfortunately insurance states where these have to be filled!!!! Maybe i will set my alarm for midnight as it says they are open 24 hrs! Oh wait i did that before and no one even answered!!! Idiots. read more

The only pro's are that it is close to my house, 24 hours, has good prices but the cons are the staff and lighting. It's so bright in there almost like Walmart! Every time I go in, the staff doesn't even acknowledge the customer. What's annoying is that they seem to have way more staff than other competitors such as CVS yet at this Walgreens if someone is at a register, they send you to the one across. Once the cashier left to the bathroom or back room and her coworker was at a register then shouted to the other employee over and said to me "she can help you over there." You were already at a register why can't you do it? At least at CVS (who only ever has 1 or 2 employees) they don't argue over who has to go through the great trouble of ringing me out for some gum and a water bottle. read more

At 9:41pm sep-18-2017 I pulled into the 24/hour pharmacy drive threw. I proceeded to press the call button for service and as the pharmacist answered I let out a scream because there was a huge spider on my car by my face and he hung up . He didn't check if I was ok or being brutally murdered or robbed. I pressed the button three times and he completely ignored me. Rudeness at its peak! Wow! It was a male I didn't get the name . But please check the cameras !!! If you are the owners or the manager reading this please have a talk with that pharmacist. Unbelievable! read more

This pharmacy is terrible. A few of the pharmacists seem to be on some kind of power trip. They would not fill my medication 2 days early. I have never had this problem before at any pharmacy with my medication. And it was not insurance related. He just had an attitude and really? Your a pharmacist, get over yourself. I changed to a local independent pharmacy recently. They actually care and are willing to work with you. Oh, and treat you like a person. read more

This is the absolute worst Walgreens pharmacy I've ever used. I'm not sure why they don't bother to check the status of refills in a timely manner. Do not go into this store when you want to pick up an online order and if you have to deal with the overnight crew. The customer service leaves much to be desired. I walked in holding the email sent to me and the worker did not even bother to look at what I was holding. She ignored my request to look at the email, asked me what I wanted and then called who I would assume is the supervisor, Kate. Kate appeared confused (at least to me). After a few minutes of looking in what must be the online order closet my package was located. At this time I assume the package must be scanned but the scanner was not working. Kate pulled out a book to look up what she should do next. At that point she went and got a battery mumbling something about nobody charges these. I thought she meant I would be charged which was confusing since I already paid for the merchandise online. She said, no, I meant the battery. I was then asked for an id, which would have not been a problem but the email informing me of the arrival of my merchandise stated I should bring the email OR an id. Kate was not aware of this policy (strange for someone who I thought was in charge) and stated "anyone could bring in an email". I did not want to argue since I was on my way to work but I do not believe "anyone" has access to my email and it is the store that stated the email was enough proof the items were mine. There are Walgreen stores everywhere, I will shop (at least at 5am) at any of the other stores. Hopefully the customer service will be better and a better trained staff will be working. read more

the pharmacy is just as garbage as the rest of the store. for one mark i believe works overnights and has a stick somewhere it shouldn't be and should not be working here overnights at all. he claims he wont fill a prescription until 8am per store policy when its his own policy. why be a 24 hour pharmacy if i cant get my medicine 24 hours? i used to go to roselle and golf location and they swapped to a non 24hr pharmacy and with my work schedule i sleep during the days. very inconvenient to have to spend an additional hour late night to go from this location to the one in elk grove village who will fill it without any issues. i will be contacting management at a reasonable hour on his behavior and if nothing changes ill contact corporate as well thats how much of my time has been waisted by this wallgreens. plain and simple just go anywhere else go to the gas station next door and pay the higher prices to not deal with it at all. run away do not look back do not pass go do not collect $200 lol but seriously don't waist your time this store should be closed down. read more
