The experience I had today with this pharmacy was abhorrent. I arrived at 7:00 on the dot to pick up a daily medication. Understanding that the pharmacy closes at 7pm, I called pre-emptively at 6:55pm to let them know I'd be getting there right at 7. They already knew the medication was ready to go and all I had to do was pick it up. The pharmacist that answered the phone was dismissive and cold, indicating abrasively that they will close right at 7pm and they would not wait more than one second for me to pull through the drive through. I arrived on the dot to the window being closed on my face. Where is the compassion and care for patients? The complete intransigence and inflexibility to wait a mere few seconds to hand a necessary, daily prescription to a patient is reprehensable. The reason I was cutting it close to 7, you may ask? I'm a medical provider and stayed extra late to make sure my last patient's needs and questions were all addressed... even though I'm done at 5pm. I go the extra mile for my patients, it's so discouraging to know that Walgreens does not. Policy and rules are one thing, but the manner in which it was handled and the lackadaisical attitude that the pharmacist had, was unprofessional at best, but uncompassionate at worst. read more

I went to the pharmacy to pick up a prescription and the woman that took me was very rude since the beginning. She asked me what did I need and I told her that I was picking up my medicine and she asked me the same thing again so I repeated myself. Then she gave me an ugly look and said "I need your name" with an attitude but she never even asked for my name to begin with so I don't know why she was being so rude. She also said that my prescription was not there, so I thought maybe it wasn't ready. I went a second time and she said the same thing. When I went the third time, another lady took me and she was able to find it without a problem. Really bad experience... I hope they do something about this. read more

Wish I would have read my fellow yelpers reviews before I switched to this new pharmacy. The actual store experience here is a 4. But the pharmacy is horrible. I moved my prescriptions to this pharmacy and they didn't refill the correct refill. They ended up giving me the wrong manufacturer of my normal pills. I called when I got home and they said they can't fix there error. They said once I can get a refill they will refill to the correct pills? What in the world! I need the correct pills now. It's taken me three phone calls still working on getting my correct prescription. SMDH They need some type of new management for this pharmacy apparently. The walking clinic was a joke as I waited for 2 hours after being told they could help me just to hear that I will need to go to urgent care the next day After that was a very bizarre experience with the pharmacist as for some reason she told me my Aetna insurance is not good for this branch ( later went to cvs to get a better service with the Aetna subsidy for the medications) - a week later they call me to say that they figured out the insurance and that I can get my medication/antibiotics and couldn't understand why I didn't wait for them - I guess I should have guessed it... randomly stopped here last night on my way home from shopping in rice village and was highly satisfied with the prices of the Christmas clearance section. however, the man at the register Domingo acted like he could not talk. The reason I say acted is because he was so serious, but as soon as another employee walked in i think her name was Tamia (she had pretty green/teal hair) he had a lot to say and converse about. they talked the entire time i was in the check out line, which really did not bother me. however, as me and my friends left, I told the cashier Domingo "goodnight and thank you!" again he went mute. has nothing to say to customers, has a lot to talk about to associates. -_- read more

This review is for the pharmacy. They are incompetent and rude at the same time. Not a good combo. If someone is good at what they do, I can overlook the rudeness a little, but not both. About 48 hours ago, I called in to refill a prescription and possibly the rudest person I've ever dealt with at a Walgreens took the refill. She hung up abruptly afterwards. About 24 hours later, I called to check the status and told it was "in progress" and would be ready in 15 minutes. Never heard back. Called back 48 hours later and was told that they were out of stock. This was a new person but she wasn't much nicer. So I had to ask if they would move it to another Walgreens and they agreed. Who knows when I'll hear back? They told me I was not "set up to receive texts." Funny, I've always gotten texts in the past. On another occasion, I went to pick up a prescription and decided to pay cash. I was told I could not. Really? I can't pay with cash? The guy didn't even know what he was talking about. He told me I had to use insurance - no, not so. I can pay cash if I choose. Take your prescriptions to another location-- at least they'll talk to you and let you know when something is out of stock. read more

Beggars galore here. They are tolerated because, I am told, company policy forbids removing them from the premises. Yesterday, after I had walked INSIDE the store, a scraggly-looking bum standing by the cash register mumbled to me what I understood to be about my buying him some cigarettes! Ignoring him, I picked out what I needed. When I returned to the register, he was just leaving, appearing to have purchased something. Evidently, shoplifting is rampant here I am told but with no security on the premises, nobody can stop them. This Walgreens is dead to me now! read more

I must say that I am SUPER glad I live just a few feet away from this particular Walgreens; this has to be, by far, my most favorite one yet. I must point out the most vibrant, friendly, outgoing and enthusiastic cashier named Curtis. He is always so bright, bubbly and cheery; he really has a fantastic personality and always seems to put a smile on my face. He is always EXTREMELY pleasant and ALWAYS greets you with a smile and always calls out when you walk in, "Welcome to Walgreens!" I just love that kind of attitude in customer service. I went in this evening, after a horrendous day at work and still in a foul mood, when I saw him, I was relieved. When I checked out, I let him know he had just brought me out of my funk because he is always so positive and pleasant. I will definitely be stopping often here instead of going out of my way for a bag of chips or kleenex or asprin and look forward to seeing that bright smiling face every time! read more

What I basically expect of a Walgreens store. Well-stocked and the workers on staff seem knowledgeable in the store inventory. I was easily and quickly directed to the exact location of what I needed. Checkout was also pretty fast and painless. Can't ask for much else though I haven't tried their pharmacy. read more

I come here because it's so close to work. The store itself is fine but the pharmacy is awful. Long wait times to pick up your RX and they give horribly inaccurate wait times. I waited here in the parking lot for 40 minutes after the time it was supposed to be ready. Staff is not friendly. read more

This locations pharmacy sucks. Let me just tell you. They had a staff of 4 in there and nobody can get it right. I drop off my prescription at 10:18am and was told to give them 45 min and asked me to sign up for the text alert so I will get one when it's ready. So I signed up. I never got a text and had errands to run so I went ahead and checked on my stuff through the drive through main window. I get there (an hour and 1/2 later) and was told that my stuff wasnt ready to give them 5 min and to pull up to the 2nd lane. So I did. Couple minutes later the man asks me to verify my address and phone number and gives me my total. I send over my credit card and he disappears. So a lady now appears and asks me to verify my address and phone number and gives me my total and she sends me back my card. So I send it back. I advise her that my card is in there. So I wait another 10 min for this transaction just for her to send me the meds, my credit card and then someone else's credit card in which i have no clue where it came from and she charged that card for my bill. So guess what. I send back everything just to wait another 15 min for her to make the right transaction with the right card. And give back that other card to whomever she got I from bc I am not liable for that. Now literally 45 min after I get my prescription I get the text alert letting me know my stuff is ready ‍. read more

Picked up my 5 year old from school with a 102.3 temp. Took to Walgreens. Touch screen check in didn't work until 3rd time through. Finally sit down and daughter throws up everywhere. Get paper towels scrub the floor. A mom helps out. Tech saunters out and says "Is she OK?" ???? Proceeds to stand there, leaves, saunters back with 1 pair of gloves. Thank you!! Now how about a plastic bag or trash can--you know, something useful at this point. Finally go back and she is slow as molasses, way more interested in id, cc, ins. Departed. If I could rate 0/5 I would. The pharmacy and clinic staff aren't just unhelpful, it seems like they actively work against you to make any customer's day worse. The clinic doctor especially has an attitude like you're just wasting her time. The only reason I would ever go to this Walgreens again is to let the pharmacy and clinic staff know how much I hate them in person. The clinic is a JOKE. I made an appt at the Clinic for 1:40. Was only a couple minutes late, but ended up waiting for my entire appointment time because the doctor "was behind schedule". Finally the doctor came out 20 minutes later, and another patient who also came in a couple minutes late for the 2:00 appt arrives. The doctor says to let her see the girl first because she looks really sick and that "it won't take long". At this point I go to the store manager and he does ABSOLUTELY nothing to alleviate the situation. I end up waiting 40 MORE minutes. A 20 Minute appointment turns into a whole hour and a half. Will no longer going to this location for ANYTHING. Don't bother coming here!!! read more

It's clean, friendly staff, always ready to help you save with extra coupons ( which I love) especially cosmetics. Clinic is a joke. Went to Walgreens they didn't have tdap in stock. Went to Walgreens with clinic in Pearland they were closed early for an emergency. Called 800 number for clinic to see if I could talk to another clinic and verify if they had in stock they couldn't verify anything only give me location info. Called Walgreens directly to see if they could transfer me to clinic they couldn't transfer me so I had to drive all the way there to be rejected by dr at clinic because she was not seeing anymore patients it was 15 min to 7. read more

Majority of pharmacy technicians are useless! A few days ago I got a prescription sent over from my doctor for an ointment, and pills for shingles. If anyone of you have ever had them, you know how uncomfortable they are, and how crucial it's is to start the medication right away. After waiting awhile I decided to look up the status of my order, and it said my pills were ready, but the ointment was out of stock. I then phoned them asking if I could transfer to a different Walgreens they said yes. The lady didn't offer any help, so I had to ask if she could could check what location had it, it's not like I would have any idea of what their stock is. She put my on hold for about 10 min. It then started to ring back, and a guy answered, so I had to explain the whole issue all over again. He then told me I could pick up the ointment at a different location, but had to pick up the pills at that location because it had already been filled. The last thing I wanted to do was drive around town, in rush hour, with shingles all over my back. This was not the first time I have had problems with out of stock items at this location, and not too mention how RUDE some of the techs are.
