Picked up a prescription and the seal was already broke on bottle. And the qty was 25 more than what the prescription was for. They tech and the pharmacist said the medicine was fine, there is nothing they can do an out it. read more

Walgreens not only gouges customers on prices for everyday items. The pharmacy techs are normally rude. Maybe it is a pet peve, pharmacy techs should start off by asking, how can I help you instead of what they cannot get for you? Also, the 4 pt font gets me every time whenever I think I might get a deal. Bring your lawyer in if you want to use a coupon. Customer service at this location is beyond terrible! Being this is the closest location to my home I come in quite often at least once a week tonight will be the third time I have had the worst customer service experience. A few months ago I came in at about 9:45 about 15 minutes until closing on my way home from work I was refused service at 9:58ish when I got to the cash register and told they had already counted the money drawer because they didn't know anyone was in the store so I had to plead with the cashier to check me out I had to get a manager involved and it took me getting on the phone with corporate for them to decide that they were going to cash me out and I even offered to use my debit card to make it easier for them so they did not have to recount the cash so that was my first bad experience at this location a few months ago. My second horrible experience at this location was when one of the workers decided to be nasty and rude to my 11-year-old daughter that asked for help finding something while I was sitting in my vehicle and she came outside and let me know And then tonight it's about 730. I have an eye swollen like a golf ball due to an infection so I came to get some medicine for my eye the older lady at the cash register has a line full of people so instead of bothering her I walked around the store to look for another worker. I heard someone rattling around near an open door Breaking boxes and politely said, excuse me I have a worker named Karl with a AirPod in one ear and a Walgreens headset in the other ear turn around with the most nastiest attitude on his face which I completely go and I said, could you please tell me where your eye stuff would be like the medicine you can put on your eye like an eye patch an ice pack ect. Not only did he have an attitude, but he told me the wrong aisle. He said I'll 24 which I went to aisle 24 already so I said do you mean his back wall right here or the last aisle? Well, obviously I said I owe 24 with his response so as I'm walking away, I just said well I don't need the attitude. This man comes out of the stockroom yelling at me. I never in my life have experienced such nasty rude customer service. On top Of it I walked to the front counter to ask the older lady at the register who is the manager and could I speak to them about what had just happened and here comes this man Carl with his attitude, so I could barely even explain my situation to the point I said you know what I will find it on my own then I overhear Carl still talking about the situation with a another customer so I walked myself out the store and decided at that point I will no longer spend a dime of my money at Walgreens! I will from now on make my way to cvs before i ever walk in this location again. I also use Walgreens pharmacy to get my medication sent to so it sucks that I will have to change my pharmacies due to this being not the first time of rude behavior by workers ! I have worked in retail,I've worked in the food industry, so I have a lot of customer service experience at any business I've ever been employed by this behavior was unacceptable and the behavior would have been corrected immediately. Also not to mention for the past couple months, they have stopped taking cash payment at I think it's 8 PM now why would you stop taking cash payment multiple hours before the store closes it makes no sense to me. This store needs a lot of improvement before I would ever call myself a customer again. read more

Do not use these people! I was there today at 5 pm to pick up medicine for my 84 year old mother that had just been seen by her Dr. Was told that her prescription was being processed, it was $69 and so.e change, and to come back at 6:30 to pick up. Asked if my son could pick up for her and was told yes. My son went to pick up and was told they don't have anything for her. So, I call and explain the situation and all I get is someone typing on computer telling me there's nothing nothing there. Then asks me what the person looks like that I spoke with earlier. Are you kidding me! My son tells me the person in front of him was told as well they don't have anything ready for them. How about you think about the customer and think outside of the box instead of being lazy looking at a screen. Horrible. You better hope my mother doesn't get worse tonight because of your negligence. read more

Walked in at a few minutes before 10:00 am on a Thursday. Quickly made my selection of a birthday card and walked to the register. Stood there for over a long time and no one came out. No bell to ring to let them know you're there. Nothing. Eventually a young man wandered in across the store by the photo area and mumbled something that I could only assume was to come down there to check out. So I did. He didn't say a word. Just took the card and rung it up. I paid and I said thank you to which he finally spoke a reply, "have a nice day." Really? What should have been a 5 minute trip took at least 15 minutes. Relatively quick service and friendly. The line was 5 cars long and it only took about 20 minutes to get to the drive thru pharmacist.

I had a scheduled vaccination appointment but no one in the pharmacy acknowledged my presence. Nurse was rude and said to wait at the window and they would eventually get to me. I waited there over 20 minutes and had to interrupt them from helping others to check me in. The told me my appointment was at the other stor less than a mile away. Had they acknowledged me it could have been resolved sooner. When I got to the other store - (7221 Normandy) they were extremely nice, even though they were just as busy, they acknowledged you with a smile. While I was waiting, the store overhead announcements stated Walgreens offered the COVID vaccine at the pharmacy without an appointment. What? I was extremely sick. My doctor prescribed meds to this location as it is closest to my home. I called this location #9042714140 at least 10 times. I needed to see if my prescription was available. I did not want to drive my sick self up there just to have to turn back around and come back later. Their phone system is AWFUL you wait to speak to a rep and I tried pharmacy and store. The phone rings pauses and just hangs up EVERYTIME Please get it together. Unacceptable I called my doctor and requested a new location Called verified and picked up with no problem If you need this location for pharmacy. Choose another location. read more

Ordered a take at home Covid test online and completed the purchase. Paid with my credit card. Drove an hour to pick it up. Manager says they have been out of stock for days. "Glitch" in the system allows customers to purchase items that are no longer in stock. Manager says it happens daily and they haven't fixed it yet. If they had answered their phone and not put me on hold for 30 minutes I would've known this before I drove an hour. Another example of big companies not being held liable. They could care less because they are making billions of off Covid. read more

This is one of the worst Walgreens you can go to, they don't care about there patients. You call to check on your prescriptions the phone system sucks, it tell you all this different information that you don't need, or it hang up on you when your next in line. My husband and I made an appointment online for our annual flu shots. We got to the 8018 Normandy Blvd location and was told to join the line, we did. There was one person ahead of us picking up script and two workers behind the window; one at the drive thru and the other working with the person ahead of us. Once the line behind us got long the person working the drive thru left and went to the front of the store to arrange products on the shelf. A customer pulled up at the drive thru and the lone worker went to help the drive thru customer and ignored us that was standing there for 25 minutes. 5 minutes later we walked out of the store along with 3 other customers. Asked to talk to a manager and was told none was available. What a mess...this place has no concerns for their customers. read more

I tried to take away the one star & give none! I had a prescription sent there Saturday evening & couldn't pick it up until Sunday. Not a problem until I get there on Sunday afternoon & was told it wasn't ready & to call back. I call back & the automated teller says there is nothing. so I return up there, bout 2-3 hours after I originally went & was told it still wasn't ready & that they were going on a break & check back in another hour. I waited again & called back, this time to speak to a human & was told it wasn't ready & I then asked was it normal to wait 24hrs or what? Then the pharmacy asked me what was I getting & they were about to close so she could get me one of 6 prescriptions but only one so which one was more important to me. I didn't get any & my wife went today & again was told they wasn't ready & this time she was so accepting & guess what, they all were filled right then. do not, I repeat do not go to this store or pharmacy!!! read more

If I could give zero stars I would. Awful experience. Staff is rude and unhelpful. I had to go to this Walgreens to fill a script that I've been getting for years from another Walgreens but they were out this time which is why I had to go to this one. Terrible mistake. The pharmacy staff was unprofessional all together. A middle aged blonde guy who was a tech told me I would have to wait three days to make sure I needed the meds. When I asked why, he couldn't explain himself, very short with me. He then threw my ID at me rather than giving it back to me, I had to pick it up off the counter. Three days pass no call or text, 5 days pass, nothing. I call to check on my script and they tell me there's nothing processing in my name. I ask them to check and they told me they denied my script!!!! Called my dr to ask what was wrong, apparently I was the rude one to the tech, therefore they won't refill my script. Sad..... read more
