I was told recently that I couldn't fill my meds because it was too soon and insurance wouldn't cover them. I knew this was inaccurate but was too sick 1st the time to argue. I went back later that evening when my inhaler was finally ready, and was told by a different tech that the insurance thing was a lie. In fact, my meds had been filled and billed earlier that evening. I went to my online account and took a screenshot of that. I've contacted corporate Walgreens multiple times and all that has been done is that it was clarified that, yes, my insurance does cover my meds that early. This isn't a first. This particular Walgreens is constantly staffed by rude, loud, unprofessional individuals who treat their customers like garbage. I recently witnessed a hefty blonde tech running the window--every time a car drove away, she made loud, degrading commentary about the customers IN FRONT OF THE PHARMACIST. I was shorted on my meds last month, I had a tech (the same one who lied to me) belittle me in front of my daughter and a pharmacy full of customers, loudly, until I left in tears and nearly dead from humiliation. I'm not sure if this is a case of bad management and training, or if this particular store simply does not value their customers or their customers' health and well being. Ahhh....there was also the case of the broken a/c over the summer!!! It was out for about 2 weeks. Do you think they tossed all of the ruined food items? Nope. I was saved from a liquid candy bar by a cashier who warned me that they were all melted and had been sitting in the sweltering heat for days. So...go at your own risk because it is totally hit or miss. You might get good service, or you might encounter the rude, balding liar of a tech who seemed to have facilitated some fraud. Oh, but in his defense I suppose one of the pharmacists could have approved filling the meds and billing them but telling me I couldn't have them for 12 days...right? read more

Ignore all the other reviews because this is the only one that matters. This Walgreens location is the worst in Jonesboro and one of the worst businesses I've ever been to. Today's tipping point is that their "computers" are down and they can't refill prescriptions without having a really hard time. This location's pharmacy staff doesn't answer the phone. They're miserable. They'll look at you like they want you to die and flat refuse to help. I had a staff member answer the phone last night. I told the lazy loser his pharmacy staff would not pick up the phone. He told me he wouldn't go check to see why but he would if I called back in another quarter hour. I chewed him out. It felt great. Your store is full of lazy people who refuse to help. The drive thru doesn't work when it rains. They can't turn off the open signs - since that requires intelligence - but will instead throw down orange cones to signify another failure of the Highland Drive Walgreens. The automated phone lines don't work. Much of the time, the phone won't even answer. It goes to fax. Then, the automated voice prompts aren't detected. They also foolishly put long-form messages on the phone line for everyone to listen to before options are presented. I hate this store. It's awful. I have moved my prescriptions and am boycotting this garbage pharmacy brand. read more

Best 24 HR pharmacy around! Love being able to go through the drive thru no matter the time & always getting spot on service! 5-stars!

Best Walgreens in the area. Amazing managers in both the front end and the pharmacy. Never had any issues.
