I transferred prescriptions (3) to my local store here is Knox, In from the Walmart 20 miles east of here, hoping to make this more convenient. I was paying about $45 at Walmart. I was thinking that the prices should remain about the same, WRONG! Even with 4 different insurance cards, these scripts were over $130, so I transferred back to Walmart, which when all the insurance was figured, cost was $14.00 for all three, 90 day supply! Why would any sane person deal with Walgreens? Plus they dragged there feet in transferring the scripts back to Walmart, to the point I had to contact my Doc to reissue one of the 3 scripts because Walgreens failed to. Don't schedule a covid test with this location. All they will do is schedule the appointment but forget to tell you they are closed!

The pharmacy tech that works is extremely rude and not friendly at all. She does not represent the walgreens reputation at all. Pitiful she tried to say the automated service did not call and say the prescriptions were ready then yelled at my husband and told him you need to call ahead and order your prescriptions. Then proceeded to tell him he would have to wait a 1/2 for it to be ready after basically calling him a liar. What a shame we are paying customers and that is the treatment we get? read more
