    The guidelines Denise handed to my sister

    This store deserves NEGATIVE ZERO STARS for their customer service. On Tuesday June 4th I visited this store around 6pm with my certified ADA service animal to purchase neeeded supplies post surgery. My service animal had his service vest clearly displayed as well as his ID tags, he was leashed and in no manner during my time shopping was he disruptive or posing any threat to anyone in the store. At the time of checkout, the associate Denise, whom later identified herself as the store manager told me "Just so you know, your animal cannot come in here" this was in direct in reference to my service animal. I then asked her for clarification as I stated "He's a service animal, what do you mean?" The associate Denise then proceeded to argue with me which escalated the situation. Denise then stated to me that she would not provide any service to me as she knew the Washington State Laws and it was within her right to tell me that my service animal cannot be in the store or provide services. However, at no point did Denise ask me the ADA guideline questions such as if my animal was an ADA certified service animal or what task he is trained for. Instead, she had asked me to leave after I specifically requested to speak to a store manager. At that point, Denise stated "I am the Store Manager and you need to leave". After this, I told her I was going to file a corporate complaint as she clearly violated the Disability Act (ADA) laws, with no grounds. Denise then left to print out the ADA guidelines. She then handed it to my sister and told her "she (in reference to me) needs to read the ADA guidelines and learn what the law says before she decides to file a complaint to corporate". As a United States disabled Veteran with a disability and requiring a service animal, I'm appalled at the thought that this associate/ manager is treating anyone who may have a disability requiring a certified ADA service animal in this same manner. DO BETTER WALGREENS!!!

    Convenient location and the pharmacy drive thru is quick. All they need is happier customer service.

    Must be in a really hurry to get out of work here 15 Mins before closing and sitting in the parking lot and won't let me inside ugh!

    If I could give this store -10 stars, I would. I will not tolerate anyone being rude to my elderly…read moremother for no reason. Around 9:30 this morning, my mother and I walked into the store. I went to the cooler to grab a bottle of water and, as I was about to open the door, a man cut in front of me without saying a word. It wasn't a big deal--I brushed it off--but it set the tone. After getting my water, I joined my mother at the hot food section. She has limited vision, so I was reading the available options to her. The cashier, Karan, had just finished helping the only other two customers, leaving us alone in the store. My mother decided on a hot dog, and I told Karan, "One Big Bite, please." He responded, "Just one?" I confirmed yes. He then asked if we needed anything else. At that moment, my mother moved to the taquito section and said, "Um, hold on." Instead of giving her a moment, Karan immediately repeated, "Anything else?" and then, just a second later, loudly repeated, "ANYTHING ELSE." At that point, I stepped in because the tone was unnecessary and disrespectful. If he hadn't been distracted by his AirPods, he would have heard my mother the first time when she politely asked for a moment. I loudly told him to give her a second (matching his energy). Karan then walked away and went back to his phone. When we told him which taquitos we wanted, he put them in a box, placed it at the register, and returned to his phone again. It felt like he rushed my mother simply so he could get back to using his phone, which is completely unacceptable. And the rudeness towards my mother will not be tolerated.

    GO ELSEWHERE! So I…read morebought a bag of donuts. Upon reaching home, I noticed the bag of donuts were beat tf up. It looked like it had a long hard shelf life.. so I checked the bag for an expiration sticker.. there was one on the bottom with the date 10/2024 ......... we are in DECEMBER 2024.... THEN I noticed a sticker on the front of the bag... the date said 01/2025... BUT I could tell there was another sticker underneath it.. so I peeled off the sticker that said 01/2025, and what did I find...? A STICKER THAT SAID 10/2024!!! This place will SCAM YOU by pushing out the date on goods with new current stickers to cover the old ones!!! That is so wrong, disgusting, and unprofessional to the people that pay money while expecting quality and HONESTY from the people who are selling to us... especially when it comes to the food we consume!! Whoever is doing this should be fired... I wouldn't trust this location, there's no telling what else they are doing to our food..
