This pharmacy has horrible customer service for compounding medications. The only reason I'm still…read moreusing them is because my medications are expensive and Samy's is the only compounding pharmacy I've found that's willing to bill my insurance for them. I've used Samy's for almost 2 years now. They've consistently had serious issues with retaining a compounder at their pharmacy, which leads to waiting for weeks for medications. The worst part is they don't communicate any of this until you call them and ask why your automated prescription has not been filled. If you don't call, you'd never find out and you'd never get your prescription. The customer service is absolutely horrible. Fully expect to wait up to 2 weeks to get your compounded medication and have to nag them to get it done, do NOT rely on calling it in through the automated system, it's like they don't even check that system at all. If you need your compounded medications in a timely manner, do not go here.

I told her, and she came back, tossed a boot wrapped in plastic on the counter, and told me my total. Thinking that's just what happens when I pay with cash, I paid, and walked out. Went home, put on my new boot, and it was the wrong type. Called them the next day and explained the situation. They told me I could come in on Monday to return for a refund since she did not try it on. Came in on Monday, and met with the Customer Service Manager and Jim, Jim was the only one who was pleasant. The CSR Manager actually told me to remove the hair that was on the boot because "I can't resell it like this!" Then they told me that the front desk lady told them she offered to try it on, and I refused. I flat out told them she lied, in which she then started yelling at me telling me she did not. Unbelievable! On the paperwork they had to send to corporate in order to refund me my money, they wrote the reason I returned the boot was because I "didn't like it." So again, THEY LIED! I will be letting corporate know.

The only reason I keep coming back is because my ONE medication is so much cheaper here than anywhere else, but being a busy working, sports mom I just don't have the time for this crap. I'm done. I'd rather pay more and get my time and sanity back. Also - in sitting and waiting for my "billing adjustment" I've witnessed at least five people leave in near tears because of how ridiculous this place is. To make sure that I am totally safe, I need to have my medications compounded - it is a gluten free facility, and they ask what you want as the filler. You can get it in creams, capsules, tablets, etc. The last time I went to a regular pharmacy I was sick for a week! I never have any negative reactions to the medications compounded here. And they are FAST, if I need them to be. Yesterday I called to say I had forgotten to order a refill (my lyme disease makes it difficult to remember things) and could they have it ready for me by today. It was actually ready YESTERDAY. Awesome! Besides the compounding pharmacy they have a lot of really great supplements that you can't get at other places like big supplement/ vitamin stores. They carry lines like Thorne Research Group and Integrative Therapeutics. All of the supplements here are of the really high quality and will be more effective than other, cheaper brands. They also carry Manuka honey cough drops, which are celiac friendly. When they first opened the staff wasn't always friendly, but now they are reliably friendly and really really great. I am so thankful for them and the role they have played in helping improve my health.
