Manager Denise was incredibly rude, discriminatory and disrespectful. My 66 year old mother didn't have her ID when I was buying beer for myself. They said they need my mothers id which I understand but when my mom said she was 66 years old and doesn't have it the manager said "read the sign lady" my mother can't read English and when she said that the manager said "if you can't read then we can't sell it to you and aggressively grabbed the beer off the counter" then manager walked away. read more

Terrible pharmacy. Called me and told me the prescription was ready. Waited two days before driving in just to make sure. Prescription was not ready for pick up and in fact had not been filled. After having my doctor add an urgent refill for my blood pressure medication I went to pick it up. The subscription came in the day before so they had all day to make the refill. I got there 24 hours after the prescription was placed with them and after being in line for 30 min I was told it would take about 40-45 min for them to do the refill. I came back 45 min later and was sitting waiting watching them fill up buckets of subscriptions. It was finally my turn again and was excited to get my medication. The answer was they hadn't really had time to get to my prescription yet. Tomorrow was a better day. WTF !?!? This is life threatening medication. I did yell at the same guy who told me 40-45 min and he just didn't care. I will NEVER set foot in a Walgreens store again. read more

The pharmacist Maria A stated to me that it was none of my concern that she questioned my daughters dosage the ER prescribed. Delayed her medications she needed immediately for over a day. Never called me the customer to tell me but then stated they were magically out of the medication. Why would you question a dosage id you don't have the medication? To say the ER didn't get back to her- but when I the customer called I got right through and now the ER is trying to fix the issue. And why would you not call the customer so they could go somewhere else. She then preceded to tell me "she cannot care about the wellness of people coming through their pharmacy because they are a very busy pharmacy" SHE does not care about the people coming through her pharmacy. Placing complaints on her license for unethical standards of care. read more

Normally I shop at Walgreens for my supplements and get my prescriptions from Costco. Since becoming a full time RV'r I sometimes have to fill my medications elsewhere and thought I would try this store. I called first to check the availability before I made the trip. The person I spoke with was so damn rude about taking my information. She wasn't interested in checking what I needed, she simply told me to bring my bottles down and since they were doing an order she would see if they would have it then simply vomited that out and said good bye and hung up!!! Went through the drive thru to get some important medication. One car ahead of me and it took an hour and a half to get my medication! A car pulled up next to us in the other part of the drive thru, got their medication before they even acknowledged us and asked how "they could help us" I am absolutely outraged by how unprofessional and uncaring the drive thru is, and I will never ever come back. I hate this place and will be moving my prescriptions after today. So u have to wait in a line in the drive thru for over an hour and your car number three! I have had on many occasions where a doctor put a prescription in for me and I gave them two to three hours to fill it, sit in a 45 min line just to be told I need to call it in and they need me to come back in another 45 mins. I literally drove around the building and sat in line again. They are rude and act like it's my fault they can't be faster. I called yesterday had to be on hold for 1 hr and I was the third caller. Talked to a lady that said it was on hold because a allergy..but it was a z pack and nothing to be allergic too. She then stated that she didn't know what to tell me but they would try to get it ready. When I asked what time they closed she said 5 but online and even the recording says 10. She told me they would be closed and if I didn't like it I could transfer pharmacies..... no reason why they are closing or any alternative. So here I sit. In line car number three and I been here since 9 and it's 9:52 and still not moved. I'm going to be late to work because of the super slow workers. read more

Pharmacy staff forces you to take a COVID test by walking through the drive through. It's 117 degrees outside, please go stand on the black top where there is no shade cover, since for some unknown reason the test that you are taking cannot be given inside. Makes a lot of sense. Walgreens in Lake Havasu has very nice and helpful employees, but what they could use is some help in their pharmacy to speed up the process of waiting on customers. The drive up is crazy slow. 15 to 20 minutes per vehicle is about the norm. The mgmt should drive thru McDonald's where they take your order, make your food, ring up your order, take your money all in half the time it takes Walgreens to hand me an order that has already been called in. They need to figure out a way to make their process a little more customer friendly and maybe add a little urgency to their service. read more

This specific Walgreens is the worst I have ever dealt with. The wait times are ridiculous, the people are lacking any form of personality and the pharmacist is clueless. The pharmacist had to ask an employee for the correct directions to give. No one knows how to communicate and I spent a few days going back and forth with them for a simple ETA on an prescription and kept getting put off. Had a canvas and drink coasters done through the app and delivered to this store - the closest one to where we are staying for the winter (a 3 hour round trip drive). After receiving the email notice the previous week that they were delivered, the woman behind the photo counter kept insisting that they weren't there. Finally we took it upon ourselves to take a closer look at all the packages and sure enough, it WAS there. She then chided us for not telling her that it was shipped to their store. IT WAS RIGHT NEXT TO ALL THE OTHER PACKAGES - OPEN YOUR EYES!!!! Thankfully we decided to open them right there, every single item was horribly off-center. All the women behind the photo counter could say was "It wasn't us", "We didn't do this", "They messed up.", "You have to call them to get a refund". Us? THEM? Way to throw other Walgreens employees under the bus! Oh, and rather than pushing the blame off on your co-workers, how about a simply apology? None was forthcoming. It's obvious that everyone behind the photo counter needs some serious attitude adjustment. Just a little customer service training would even help. As for the items themselves, they were horribly off-center. How can a company let something like this go out the door? These were to be Christmas presents, but there is no way they could be given in that state. All we have now is disappointment for Christmas. A horrible experience all-around thanks to NO ONE from Walgreens doing their job satisfactorily. We will NEVER be ordering anything from Walgreens photo again. read more

VERY rude. Bad customer service and bad attitude. I politely requested a refill of boxed eye drops and was rewarded with a curt answer that she was very busy and that it would be at least 24 hours before I could pick it up. While I understand that there are other customers who also need prescriptions, this refill required nothing more than reaching for a box of eye drops already prepared. If nothing else, a more professional response would be appreciated. I will take my business elsewhere. read more

On Feb 12 2017 We went thru the drive thru at 4:15 to drop off a prescription, after waiting in line for 4 cars we finally get to the window, Only to be told that the Scrip could not be filled until Feb 16th. They refuse to fill and hold on to it, so he was told to return in a few days. When he got home he looked at his pill bottle from last month which was filled on the 12th. After many calls to my insurance company and being on hold for hours, Wayne, the pharmacist, got what we needed. He worked on it for hours so my son was able to get what he needed. Walgreens Havasu is clearly the best choice for drug stores. The store has a much wider assortment of items than CVS and is more convenient than Walmart. The staff is friendly and helpful. The store is clean and well organized. This store is my first choice for all my non-grocery needs. read more

I've never seen such friendly people. Pharmacy to check stand, they all have a smile, kind greeting and are helpful. Now, that should be easy in a slower pace town/store, but that's rarely the case. This was the busiest Walgreens I've ever been in. Imagine Lake Havasu Aizona, right before spring break, first of the month and still winter so all the snow birds are still there. My family and I are visiting from Seattle. I decided to stop by for some rum to have a nice cocktail while we are hanging at our resort. I walk in with my daughter and her friend to grab some snacks and a small bottle of liquor. The representative at the counter told me that she had to card everyone I walked in with. So you have to card my 15 year old daughter? I cannot purchase a bottle of alcohol unless my daughter sits in the car and according to you, it's "Arizona law" that is everyone is over 21 in order for their parents to purchase alcohol?
