The pharmacy tech asked me how she could help me. I have been trying to get a prescription filled for several months. My insurance company keeps denying the medicine my doctor wants to put me on. I found a coupon online from the manufacturer And thought I would try it here. I have tried it at other locations and it's not worked. The pharmacy tech got together with the pharmacist. They were both very helpful. They did some finagling and were able to get my insurance company to pay for some of the prescription and the coupon to pay for some of it. This meant that I still had a pretty high co-pay but I also saved $1000 on the retail price of the prescription. I am quite pleased! This is a Pharmacy that will go to bat for you. I really enjoyed its beer cave attached to the store which featured a wide selection of Fine Wines and a small selection of my favorite non-alcoholic drinks. Shopping wise, this place featured a great deal of grocery items and the staff here was absolutely friendly and helpful at the same time. There's a little bit of construction going on too which should be over in the next couple of days. Items are a little bit pricey for my standards but it nearly has everything that I look forward in a grocery store. This place is usually pretty packed with the parking lot and as you may have to park pretty far and walk a bit to get to the store. But checking out surprisingly is pretty quick.

I was hoping for whipped cream, but it wasn't offered. The soda was good. The hotdog was common. It isn't like Clintons Soda Fountain in Independence which is really good and uses toppings and fruit. Hot dogs, tuna salad, egg salad, grilled cheese, and chili. They have a grill but when they reopened the health department said they needed a new hood limiting the options. I had a inbetweenie weenie, Frito pie with a hot dog, and a chocolate shake. The hot dog was ok. Nothing fabulous, not bad. A little bland and no heat in the chili. The chocolate shake was good, but not wow. Service was very friendly although some comments made me uncomfortable and responding with a nod and smile seemed best. My bill was $11.11. not ridiculous, but sure seemed high for what I had. I don't think I'll eat there again. Maybe go with a group to enjoy the fountain experience. They close at 4. Aside from that i had to ask multiple times for my meds to be switched to this pharmacy after I moved because I wouldn't be seeing my doctor for a bit. They reassured me they'd switch it and I ended up having to drive to my previous city to get it. They don't manage prescriptions well at all. Half the time it's not even filled and they tell me to come back later to which I do and it's still not filled. If I could give one star I could. Go literally anywhere else.

First of all, the presliced meat is sliced thickly and I want deli meat sliced thinly. Second, why is he so rude and isn't this his job??? Pharmacy Dept: Have not had problems with filling prescriptions here until recently. I had to come back 4x to get a prescription. I was told, the medication needed to be ordered and was awaiting shipment and to come back by 12pm the next day. 1 day after the prescription was sent I went to pick up and was told it wasn't ready and to come back. I was told a pharmacist cancelled the prescription the day it was sent over and no one that works in the pharmacy knows why. After showing up over 48 hours after I was told to come back, I was told it wasn't ready and to come back again. And I was also told I had been signed up for text messaging to alert when the prescription was ready, but did not receive any texts. When I went back to pick up again, I said, "Thank you," and the pharmacist walked away. No apologies at any point and in the end I was ignored on top of that.
