It's 9:30 pm, a rainy Monday night. I'm fresh out of the Rock Climbing Gym in flip-flops and paint-stained cargo shorts. I'm covered head to toe in chalk, in the middle of a thunderstorm. But I'm on a mission. A mission from God (re: my Wife) My mission, should I choose to accept it (and the consequences are dire if I don't), to find the perfect blonde hair dye for my wife's dark brown/chestnut red natural hair. She's a brunette, and it's bachelorette party season and time for pool parties - time to be blonde! So, I strolled in to Walgreens. Expecting, with my extensive experience with home hair dye, to find "Blonde," "Blonder," "Blondest," and "OH GOD I'M BLIND." Plus the equivalents for Brown, Black, and maybe some blue, green and pink thrown in just for kicks. But what did I find? A dizzying array of brands and colors, all with cover pictures of what the hair dye will look like perfectly on anyone, no matter what color they start with or how long they leave the dye in. What's worse, there's bleach-free, bleached, all-natural - five different number systems for various levels of lightness, a hundred different names for the same shade(s), and boxes of various colors just mess it up when you try to look at the whole collection at once. What's a guy to do! But by the grace of Google and these two thumbs, and a several very handy blogs - one in particular called "The Home Hair Dying Guide for Bored Brunettes" (seems legit!) and I found it. By golly and gosh, I found it! ...I think. ...I sure hope! On my way out I also checked out the lush array of gummies and some of the trail mix, plus I picked a Gatorade flavor I've never tried before (as is my way) and waltzed my chalk-covered, flip-floppered, proud-as-punch self up to that kind lady at the checkout. I told her my story, and she actually was nice enough to act interested, but did *not* share my confidence in my success! Hope is fading! Still, I checked out, started chowing down on my trail mix, guzzling Gatorade, and made my merry way home to face the reward for a job well done, or the terrible retribution for bleaching my lovely wife's head. If you're not gonna be open the hours that it says on your website, please change them. It will keep people who need an emergency pharmacy to think you're open later from traveling a long ways away and getting there and being disappointed after wasting much money and gas. This seems to be something very simple that could be done. There's not a 24 hour pharmacy in Little Rock and y'all say several open. read more

As other multiple reviews have stated how horrible this store is, I suggest moving your meds to a locally owned store. CVS is not any better. What benefits they had in years past are GONE. Not worth the hassle in all departments: pharmacy, photo, online orders, no help from clerks even when I show them on the app it's available at this store. Clerk responds with dull stare and shrugs "sorry." 2025 Axios-Harris Poll 100: CVS dropped to 57th place in the survey of the most visible US brands, down from 36th last year. Walgreens is just pathetic, I had a prescription sent to my regular Walgreens pharmacy and when called after 2 hours, they said they do not have. They should have let me know. The second stupidity is they told me to call near by Walgreens and transfer the prescription, I called and transferred, when went to pickup they say the prescription is the same as over the counter and did not GIVE me the prescription. Looks like the pharmacy employee knows more than the doctor who prescribed. WALGREENS NEEDS TO BE SHUTDOWN, STUPID TO THE nth DEGREE. Switching now to local. read more

Pharmacy tells out patient surgery centers that they are open until 8 pm on weekdays but they actually close at seven pm. Just be truthful instead of shady... putting peoples lives at risk. read more

This has got to be the worst drug store around. I usually have to wait at least 30 minutes in line (drive thru or inside) to get a perscription. God forbid you need to call them. I was on the phone almost an hour holding to talk to someone. Switching pharmacies asap. read more

There isn't a rating lower than the rating I gave them or I would have given them -5 stars!!! None of my prescriptions are narcotics...I have at least 10 prescriptions...they are so disorganized!! Every single time I come to this store which is once or twice a week they are either closed early for no reason or sitting around snacking on bs. The store says it doesn't close until 11 pm so why are you all closed at 7 pm it doesn't make sense. I go to shop today and here it is 4:20 pm and the doors and locked once again. I have been a long time Walgreens customer. I particularly like the convenience of a national chain, and being able to get my prescription in any US city I visit. Unfortunately, the service has has gone down-hill, especially during the pandemic. They are short-staffed. They seem not to keep their pharmacists very long. And pharmacist and techs always appear stressed and over-worked. We have been without a 24-hour Walgreens for several months. My most recent bad experience happened tonight. Inside pharmacy closed. Drive -thru only. Waited in line for 2 hours. Got to the window at 10:02 pm. and was told sorry computers shut down, pharmacy closed, get your prescription tomorrow. read more

Been in this pharmacy drive thru line for ninety minutes. When I got here, there were 12 cars ahead of me. When I drove up and saw the long line, I called and talked to a pharmacist to confirm my sons prescription was ready. Turns out, even though my script was called in 4 hours ago, it still hadn't even been filled. She was glad I called so that "hopefully it'll be filled by the time you get to the front of the line." It wasn't. All in all, it took about an hour and thirty five minutes to get antibiotics for my sick 2yo. This isn't a first here, but it's certainly the worst it's ever been. I am a doctor and could not get the pharmacist to fill the medicine I needed two days post op brain surgery. Pls do not use this place. Horrible wish I could give a zero review. I understand why it has a 1 star review. Was trying to leave another bad review since we called twice. Only pharmacy open 2.0 hrs in LR. I called this location to see if they had a specific lube in stock, as I saw it listed on the website at this location but wanted to make sure it hadn't run out before I went into the store. After I asked the employee if they had the lube in stock, they seemed confused and asked me to repeat myself so I did. The employee then told me they would have to hand the phone off to a manager. The manager says, "hello?" I then restate my question. The manager seems confused and asked what the lube was for, so I specified that it was a specific brand of s * xual lubricant. The manager then says, "I'm sorry we don't carry any products like that." and then hangs up. Overall, a very weird confusing experience for me. They clearly do sell lube at that location as stated on their site. I don't know if the employee and manager were just uncomfortable. Regardless of any discomfort, it wouldn't have been any harder to give me a simple yes or no. In addition, I simply asked about the product. The manager is who requested that I specify what I was using it for which was strange, especially given how uncomfortable they clearly were. read more

It was 1am and needed water and snacks. For a sleepy town, we noticed some creepy people lingering in the parking lot. Since there weren't any fast food places open we opted to buy a gallon of water, cup-o-noodles and some pasta. We presented to the counter and the employees were super nice. One of the items purchased rang up incorrectly and we questioned it. The manager had to walk over to the signage to verify our account, and the employee overrode the transaction. Listen up, Texans! Don't attempt to buy wine on a Sunday in Arkansas. Not just after 1pm but it's not allowed period. The polite employee, with the southern accent said, "I'm sorry ma'am, you can't buy alcohol on Sundays." My response was, "Ummm... At all?" He said, "No alcohol is sold on Sundays." What is this, Footloose? Do I dare bust the robot? That's one of the few things I miss about California....being about to buy booze whenever I felt like it. Not having to wait off to the side at Target, waiting for the minutes to pass until hitting 1pm. Good news is, they have the good Hostess powered donuts and Good to Grow juice. The absolute worst Walgreens photo department I have ever worked with. Please do not waste your time or energy with this store or this department. The employees have zero knowledge of anything. I received an email that my photo order was ready and when I went to the store at 10:20 am I was told that the photo department would not be open until 10:30 am. I waited and walked back in and asked to pick up my order at 10:40 am. The young lady phoned "assistance in the photo department." A very impolite representative came to the counter and said "ain't nobody here to do no pictures." I replied that I simply needed to pick up an order as I will not be back in this state to do so. She then did nothing to assist. The worst part is she kept saying she didn't know how to and that there was no one to help. Y'all, the only thing they have to do when an order is ready is to search by last name. AGAIN, do not waste your time at this Walgreens; it's awful. read more

Do not go to this pharmacy!!! My doctor sent a prescription electronically and I actually waited a couple of hours. Then, after waiting in line for 15 minutes, I ask for my prescription. I'm told that it is being processed. After sitting around for another 15 minutes, a lady asks me the name on my prescription. She checks and again says "it's being processed". After waiting another 15 minutes, I go up and ask about it. Now she says that they are out of the med and can order it for delivery the next day. I say okay and then she says that it will be there in "a couple of days". If I wasn't saved, I would have jumped over the counter and choked somebody...lol. The absolute worst pharmacy in town. Most incompetent workers behind the pharmacy counter I have encountered. They have consistently made numerous mistakes, and always some poor excuses. I was just in the pharmacy on Bowman road and did not have a good customer experience. There was only one pharmacist working and was very unfriendly. There were people in line in front of me but have been waiting a while and decided to leave. Once it was my turn, I got no apology about my wait time (approximately 20 minutes). I had a simple question about my prescription that was filled without my concent and she said "well just because it's filled doesn't mean you have to pick it up". I understand that it can get pretty hectic when you are the only staff available but not having good customer service will definitely make or break your experience. I have gone to this particular pharmacy for 2 years now and have never seen this pharmacist before nor have I been treated like this. If I have to experience anything like this again, I will be transferring to a different pharmacy. This is not how your customers should be treated. read more

Used to think this was an ok pharmacy...until I called about my prescription & the pharmacist that answered was HORRIBLE!!!! She 1st said it wasn't valid/had expired...I asked when it expired she stated 5/6 so I told her the bottle I was looking at said it expired 5/8! She then stated it was expired & they only held them for 10 days from call in...I informed I called it in 5/6 right before midnight so it should be there now...she then says she's not sure & can only call it in Mon...I asked if she could see if it was ever filled & she said no which was actually a lie since she had to be looking at it in the system since I called on the 6th & that's the 1st date she said...horrible communication, customer service, review & research skills...If I could give 0 stars I would. She even sounded like I was bothering her by checking & correcting her when they are who messed up...glad I had another RX from my recent Dr visit that I didn't turn into them...If u call a RX in make sure to follow up or you're really likely to be screwed over....Fool me once shame on you...you won't fool me twice!!!! This location is notorious for delayed processing of medications; misinformation; misinterpretation of policy coverage and blatant lies regarding prescription services! I have called in two consumer complaints of similar issues within one month! On May 31, 2016, I called in a partial prescription refill at 6:34pm CST and was told by either a Pharmacy Tech or Pharmacist that my prescription would be ready in an hour. Given my 8 year history with this pharmacy, I waited until 9pm CST only to be told my prescription was not ready. It was a quantity of 10 pills! A tech then asked me to drive around the store away from the drive thru window so other customers could be served; likely those who called or requested medications AFTER my request. This is one of the WORST pharmacies in the Central Arkansas area; and I chose them due to the 24 hour service. If you have flexibility in time or reliable support to help manage your prescription refills and pick up needs; DO NOT choose this location. Save yourself the frustration and grief. read more
