Absolutely terrible pharmacy . They just don't answer the phone . There were times I called all day and they just don't answer . I recently had to drive there because they won't answer the phone . When I got there I stood by an unattended window . 1 person handling 3 windows and drive through. I called the pharmacy and observed the clerk in the back standing right next to the ringing phone I was calling but just ignored it . This place has zero respect for customers. Do not buy refrigerated food here, especially milk. I bought a half gallon and it was bad, although it had 7 more days until expiration. A week later I bought two quarts, thinking that was safe. More than a week until expiration. Both smelly and tasted bad. I got a refund for those, but had to argue with the manager. They insist they put them into the case as soon as delivered -- I doubt it. The manager and clerk were aggressive about refunding my money -- I just wanted them to be aware and to apologize, and I did want my money back. It may be that the truck that delivers leaves the milk out somewhere. Whatever. . . be warned . . . and go to 7-Eleven on the next block! I tried calling customer service but after 40 minutes on hold I gave up. So - if you need milk, buying here just gets you sour milk. . . read more

Came in to do an exchange of supplemental package and encountered the worst Walgreens representative ever - Rob. He was arrogant, rude and unfriendly. This is definitely my first and last time in this store. I will never use them again. And since my uncle gets his prescriptions filled here I called him to tell him to stop using them, as I was returning the items for him. Customer service is extremely poor with Rob. His stuff unfriendly attitude is better fit for a bouncer position but then he probably would get smacked around by other people if he tried that with others. He should be stocking boxes if he wants to have a crappy attitude. Completely disgusted by him and Walgreens lack of screening of employees. read more

I literally feel like I'm in the Twilight Zone every time I go here. I don't know how they choose their staff, but ZERO customer service skills. One dude doesn't even speak; just grunts as he rings you up. There's always a massive line with one person working one register and having to also run over to photo to help people there. Employees will look you dead in the eye while you're waiting and not even say "we'll be right with you." Seem to be consistently understaffed and have to spend 20 minutes per customer processing coupons. Give me a break. Never going again. read more

I was experiencing bad food poisoning one day on my way back from the beach, and needed to stop at the Walgreens for a restroom. The staff was extremely helpful and caring, and the bathrooms were very clean! We cleaned up as we left, and I thank this Walgreens from the bottom of my heart! I have never in my life waited 2 hours for a prescription nasal spray until i came here. i came by to drop off my prescription the girl said about an hour. about an hour and 15 minutes later i came back and asked for my prescription ..the girl says just a few more minutes. about 40 minutes later. i asked again and finally got my medicine. This is so beyond stupid and not worth it. I would rather drive 30 min to another walgreens than deal with this again. The girls were so rude, and kept arguing with patients. don't go here. read more

Had same problem , bad back injury , only received 2 of 3 prescriptions, the one I'm missing is what's needed , apparently system died since 11-10 am , no one came to fix ac to stop computer system from over heating ,told I could only pay cash , I'd have been fucked if I didn't have someone with me that did read more

Stopped in here on Thanksgiving. A coupon I had earned for $5 off my next purchase came out of the register as I started to walk away. Instead of handing it to me the cashier put it to the side (didn't throw it out so I knew it wasn't just an ad like I thought). So I went back and asked oh did I get a coupon? She said oh yeah here and handed it to me. Apparently she was going to keep it. And this is what I for get being nice and being the only customer at that time wishing her happy Thanksgiving and saying sorry you have to work today. What a POS she should be fired. read more

I use to be a solely CVS girl.... until now! The pharmacist here are fantastic! Not once but 2 separate occasions they had saved me so much money! They knew our insurance wouldn't cover the majority of the name brand prescription. She told us she would call our physician and ask if the generic was ok! She saved us $100's! Then today I went in to purchase basic stuff and found out I had bonus rewards! I got $20 for purchasing what I would have anyway! Walgreens rocks! read more

Not bad over here! Drive thru pharmacy saves you from standing in line for an hour to drop of an rx. Store is fairly large and clean. Seems to be better staffed than other locations. Parking lot is tiny, but I always manage to find a spot. Some pharmacies will give ya the 'it'll be ready in 15' when you hand in an rx, this place usually says 45 min. Good! Give it some buffer room so people don't get pissed. Me? I leave and wait for the email to say it's ready (another great service). Saves the frustration. Come on over here for all of your pharmacy needs! read more

Good prices when sales are going on- somehow the prices on things seem closer to reality than the overpriced CVS in the same vicinity; that being said it can't compete with Target, but for convenience when you need something right away in LB, it's worth checking out Walgreens. read more

I've been using this specific Walgreens store in Long Beach, NY at 606 Long Beach Blvd. for some time now. Specifically the Pharmacy department. I know I can go to any Pharmacy around and be served, but there's a reason why I continue to visit this one! The pharmaceutical team there has been amazing to me from the very first day and the only change there has been is that it just gets better every time. I've never been so comfortable and I actually look forward to dealing with the special team consisting of Sini and Neena! Besides having my prescriptions ready, I'm always learning something new from them that is helpful to my everyday life. They educate me with details, methods, and definitions of medicines that are prescribed to me. They go beyond their job description time and time again with simple conversations besides the occasional "hello's and goodbye's" !!! It makes me feel at home as if I had known them all my life. And that's super important for consumers like me who are questioned and timid of some of the prescriptions I'm picking up. I feel like I can ask them anything or even call there without feeling shy or scared. The advice given and respect I'm shown over and over again is truly sincere. I am very pleased with Victor, the pharmacist in charge (manager). He is very understanding and he has a gentle and caring attitude towards his customers. Such a friendly person and very patient. I have not had any complaints since i started to bring my prescriptions over to walgreens. i can truly say, he puts his heart in to his job and he cares about his customers. ill definitely give him a huge plus because if it wasn't for victor i would not be willing to continue to bring my prescriptions to the pharmacy, thank you walgreens for having an employee like him. read more
