Knowledgeable about all the latest skincare, she takes the time to thoroughly check and evaluate your skin and explain what she sees and how to best treat it, including holistic methods if that's an interest for you. A few years ago, it was clear I had bad interactions with different ingredients in products, but we didn't know which they what. Theresa uses a special system of skin testing that comes from Canada and will give you not only what you're reacting to, but gives you lists of current products on the market that contain it. When I moved back to DC, my excellent dermatologist there had never heard of this testing program and wanted to purchase it herself. I'm now living in New England and as family is local here, I figured why not come back to Theresa versus try my luck with another? Her front desk staff is super warm and friendly and fit me in quickly. Her new office is super cute and there's even a fresh juice bar inside. Her esthetician does consults for different services, including makeup using the highest quality products. I even offered to pay the difference. She told me no and that I needed the box the tube came in. Also, I rarely wear makeup, so it was difficult to tell what exactly I wanted. I left that part up to Holly, to do what she felt was best for me. The appointment took almost an hour, and that time flew by. Talking to Holly was easy and fun, and I enjoyed being in her company. I was worried that the makeup would feel heavy, or look caked on up close since there were many layers of products that were being applied to my face. When I finally got to look, I was so blown away! I couldn't believe the magic she did. It was so natural and I felt completely like myself. She gently enhanced all of my features and didn't overdo a thing. Once I got the photos back from the shoot, I still couldn't believe how great the makeup looked. We shot both indoors and out, and everything was perfect.
