Transferring prescriptions between this Walgreens and one in our home state was a breeze. We just had to call and they took care of it speedily and accurately. In town now, we just experienced the great customer service again. The store is big and clean and has a good assortment of household products, groceries, supplements, and OTC meds as well. During peak times, like early evening, there can be a bit of a wait at the Rx counter, so if you can call ahead and use the drive through, I would. Very happy with this location.

I can't comment on the cost of a smaller pharmacy versus the larger ones, aside from the fact that with my insurance the cost is the same regardless of where I go. I'd rather do business with a smaller pharmacy that knows my name rather than be treated like a number at a larger pharmacy. Have you ever dropped off a prescription to be refilled at a large pharmacy and told it will take a half hour to get it filled? Not so at Oak Grove Pharmacy - they'll have it ready for you in a jiffy.
