The Walgreens Pharmacy on Meridian and Overland have the most amazing staff. They are always so kind and helpful. I can't thank the Pharmacists Michelle enough. She went over and beyond tonight to get my husband's prescription filled stat after being at the ER all day. She was so helpful and sweet. This is our regular pharmacy we always go to and the Pharmacy Tech Kimberlee is also always so amazing. Truly adore both ladies. I will never go to any other pharmacy but this one. Horrible and rude staff in the pharmacy! Avoid avoid!! They refuse to fill meds when due. Doctor offices have to fight to get meds filled. The "pharmacy manager" is worse, she yells at customers and then will take your script and not fill it and say they lost it. Happens every month that is why we left! read more

Thanks Nathaniel for top notch customer service! I went in to get some business cards and the card cutter was malfunctioning. He patiently cut me some cards manually while taking care of multiple other customers, always keeping his cool, and taking good care of us all. If I ran a store I would be recruiting this young man. DO NOT go to this pharmacy if you have any type of allergy. This pharmacy has attempted to give me prescriptions twice that contain my allergen. The pharmacist and manager (female) made this mistake twice now and when I confronted her on the error she said I can go to another pharmacy if that makes me feel better. Seriously?!? Walgreens, when you hire managers do you see how they treat people?! This manager CANDI she was the one in charge 4/30/23 at 10:43am. I had a situation where she would deny my switch on my tabacoo because my cashier who was so KIND she accidentally got the wrong kind, but I didn't leave the store I was checking the type and I notices before I left the register but my receipt was coming out so I asked if I can swap it and I'll pay the difference she said yes let me call for assistance no worries we moved out of the other people ringing out. Then the manager with the nasty ATTITUDE and COSTIMER SERVICE just looked at as (black and Mexican) and said oh on we don't exchange or return and I said but we haven't left the store or opened it and she said yeah it's store policy and I asked why isn't it posted for the public? I mean if I opened it sure treat me like shit but I didn't do anything to it. Then she changed it to its states policy. So of course I have 10+ yes of management experience. In retail. Of courses I went to walgreens return policy and it states NOTHING about tabacoo being able to be refunded or exchanged. Then I searched the STATE of IDAHO and nothing about tabacoo being exchanged! So WE ALSO CALLED the local WALGREENS!!! And same thing THERES NO SUCH THING AS SHE STATED THAT ITS STORES OR STATES POLICY. this can easily be a lawsuit for racism and discrimination. Then the manager was in shock that we did our research in less then 10 mins. Even the cashier said she's done this a couple of times and is glad someone is actually is saying something! Lovely staff, however, was told they don't accept blue Cross of Idaho insurance.. .really? Since that is pretty much the only provider up here I was shocked to hear that. Since I could not afford the $76 for my prescription and it has been filled already I was grateful that I had a discount card. Of course I can't get my future prescriptions filled here ... The worst customer service I have ever experienced in the photo department I have been using their photo services for years and this will be my last time when I finally receive my photos. I ordered Christmas cards (I usually just do the glossy photos (.99 cent per photo) but this year I thought I would spend the extra money and buy the premium card stock (2.49 per card). I did same day pick up and showed up to get them on Black Friday. When I arrived over an hour after they were supposed to be done, they went on to say there was glitch with their system and the computer where the order was processed was not talking to the computer that does the printing. I went back Saturday morning and picked them up. I got home and looked at them and they were horrible. The back of this premium card stock had snowflakes and the card stock was so thin and low quality that you could see the snowflakes on the back showing from the front of the picture. We used a brand new iPhone 11 Pro and the picture looked amazing on the phone and computer. Because the card stock was so terrible the image turned out horrible. I called immediately and said i was very disappointed and i needed this fixed. They assistant manager said no problem just place a new order and come in and they will credit me the difference. I was thrilled with this. I placed the new ordered and decided to just stick with the cheaper glossy photo option as those always turned out great. Again i showed up about an hour after getting the email saying they were ready. I requested for Jeff the assistant manager as he said he was going to process the refund. He pulls the new photos and they looked great and he asked me how he wanted this to be done. I said well you said you would do the exchange and refund me. He said well i need to see the ones you didn't like. I said you said nothing about me needing to bring the other photos back and asked if i could just take the photos and i would bring the others back on Sunday. I was trying to get the photos out in the mail today. He said no you will have to come back. This would be a 3rd trip. I did not think bringing the other photos back would matter as they were trash and what would they do with it?! Sick of wasting my time with this Walgreens and making multiple trips read more

I transferred my prescriptions to this store in January. Worst pharmacy I have ever dealt with. I am transferring my prescriptions back to my old pharmacy even tho it is a 30 minute drive there compared to 10 minutes to Walgreens. They have messed up my prescriptions three times now. One prescription was suppose to be 1/2 a tablet a day, the instructions they gave said one tablet a daily, I called my doctor to see if it had been changed, it hadn't. Next time I picked up a prescription it was suppose to be 90 pills, the bottle only had 9 pills, Called Walgreens, was told that they couldn't fix the prescription for 4 weeks as the insurance wouldn't pay for a new one so soon. Today picked up a prescription it was suppose to be 3 boxes , they gave me a baggie with 2 vials of meds. I told them it was wrong, the pharmacist supposebly looked it up and said the doctor only prescript. 2 vials, I showed the the receipt that it said 3 boxes. Was told they couldn't fix it until 2 weeks as insurance won't cover the prescription. Staff are horrible in the pharmacy. read more

Absolutely disgusted with Walgreens as a company. I walked in the store with my 12 YEAR OLD sister in law and was refused when I tried to purchase cigarettes. I'm 24 years old!!!! The lady instantly assumed that I was giving the cigarettes to my sister in law. She's 12! She said "I need both ids" and when I said "she's 12" she said "well I need to make sure you are both of age in case you are just giving them to her" Is she suppose to carrying proof that she's 12 with her? What if she was my daughter?!? She didn't even look at my id. Then I called to speak to the manager and he was a complete ass. He spouted off "we always want to be on the corner of happy and healthy" are you serious?!? I've worked in customer service buddy I know you are just spouting off some stupid rehearsed script to calm down an angry customer. I will NEVER spend my money at Walgreens again. read more

I had such a good experience I actually contacted corporate so they could pass on the praise. One of my coworkers had a child and I stopped to get them a card and balloons, the balloon was a little low but not so much it was a problem. The employee proactively paged someone to refill the ballon and when that person didn't know how took the time to go fill it herself. Very good and unexpected customer service that exceeded my expectations. read more

Great drive-thru pharmacy! I've never had to wait for longer than a few minutes to get to the window, and once you're there, it's only a matter of a minute or so to receive your medications, if you're using Express Pay. :-) read more

After numerous phone messages from them all day that my prescriptions were ready they gave me attitude about the way my doctor had written the dosage on one and said I didn't need a refill on the other one. Typically I like Walgreens. They have great deals on milk and often on laundry detergent. But their pharmacy leaves much to be desired. They're the closest pharmacy to my house and they have a drive-thru, so I'll probably continue to use them. That said, they are very slow. If my Dr. faxes over a script and I show up an hour later to get it, it's still sitting on their fax machine and hasn't been processed yet. Every time. This is getting really old. Yesterday the insisted that they hadn't received my sons prescription, even after I'd called the Dr. office and had it faxed over twice. Today they told me that they had contacted a Dr. Johnson to confirm the refill of amoxicillin - I've never heard of Dr. Johnson and this med wasn't a refill. Very frustrating! Kudos to Pharmacist Walter though, as he listened to my dilemma and called the correct Dr. himself and got it all straightened out. So I guess I'll give them one more chance. read more

If I could give a ZERO, I would. The pharmacy has the worst customer service EVER. I had surgery today and my Dr. had phoned in an antibiotic. She also prescribed a prescription painkiller. I thought that the use of Advil & Tylenol could maintain the pain, but as the evening went on the pain worsened. When I went to pick up my antibiotic, I asked to get my pain med filled and they refused to do it because they were closing in 10 min. Refusing a customer who has just had surgery and is in pain and telling them to come back in the morning or go to the downtown 24 Hr. Walgreens which is about 40 min away (plus filling time) is ridiculous. I understand that it is a Friday evening and they want to get off work, but I personally feel that this is completely inconsiderate and unnecessary. There was nobody else in line and it would not have taken them that long to process the prescription...AND it would have gone a long way. The pharmacist Patricia Peterson and her technician Margarita were so rude and callous. They treated me as if I was some druggie just trying to get unnecessary meds. I will be filling any future prescriptions for our family elsewhere. I have never been treated so poorly by a professional who is in the business of providing care to patients to either ease pain or treat a specific problem. WOW!!! read more
