EVERY MONTH: I call to make sure they're filling the prescriptions that have been sent in (doing their one job). "Yes, you do have my prescription, my provider sent it in two days ago" .. "Yes, I'd like to pick it up today" 2 hrs later and 20 minutes in line: "I'm sorry, but we don't have it. You'll have to come back in half an hour" MONTH AFTER MONTH. Worst pharmacy. I'd change and stop the insanity but they're the only ones who take GoodRx which is cheaper than using my commercial insurance. Another thing that makes so much sense... DO NOT USE THIS PHARMACY IF YOU CAN HELP IT. Terrible systems -they can never "see" the prescription initially for whatever reason- followed by routine incompetence. read more

Loss of good employees in the pharmacy. I depend on people I know in order to be comfortable and I know Im taken care of. That is not happening. I have to be extremely careful of how my anti seizure drugs are ordered. If I order them 5 days before im out that maybe too soon, or they have to order it in. Twice I have run out of meds and even went to the 24 hour place, and was told that my Rx had been moved to many times...?? I have not moved it since I got it in October. I could get no emergency supply. So, I was told to go to the hospital and have a doctor write me another Rx...really? I can pick up an early supply if I pay the $1,600, but Medicare and Idaho Medicaid wont pay for it. I am now considering Costco. read more

I have never had good experiences with Walgreens and have always chosen to go elsewhere. But I thought I'd give you them one last chance. Fail. This is the slowest pharmacy I have ever been to. I waited in line for 30 minutes only to be told that my prescription that I was told was ready, was not. I was told it would take 30 min to fill. When I came back later in the day, I had to wait an additional 45 minutes. There wasn't a long line ahead of me, they just move at a glacial pace. I'm not sure if they are playing chess or napping, but they are definitely taking their sweet time to do their jobs. read more

This review is based solely on my experience with Walgreens' order online, pick up in store service. Walgreens often has really great promos that you can pair with an app coupon, order on their app and then pick it up at the store for free (no shipping fees). I did exactly this recently and was able to get (2) sets of Ziploc Twist 'N Loc containers for $1.11 each. And since I pass by this Walgreens location often, it was super easy to just pop in and pick up my order when it was ready. Only it wasn't super easy. I arrived at the store and went over to the photo department (because that's where you pick up your online order). I waited for about 5 minutes and no one came to assist me - even the girl that was right next to it putting things in the refrigerator section. So finally, I sort of looked at her and the other associate who was working on an endcap not too far behind me (there were no other customers in the store) and said "hellllloooo .... is there someone who can help me with an order?" The farther lady came over, and as she walked behind the counter, I told her it was an order online pick up in-store item. She proceeded to look through the photos. She asked me what size. I told her it was an item, not a picture. I guess a picture is an item so that's my bad for not being more clear. Then she went over to the pile of boxes. There were about 4 there. I told her it was a small thing and should be a small box. She quickly found it and then walked over to the register. She seemed to play with the register a bit and then it became obvious that she had no idea what to do. So, she called over the associate who was nearby at the refrigerated case. She came over and they were both punching things on the screen, guessing, "let's try this ... " and not getting anywhere. All while the lady was holding my already paid for package in her hand. I asked if I could just have my already paid for item and leave - it'd been 20 minutes now - and she said no, it has to be released. So, she paged for the manager. And the other girl told her that they weren't supposed to because she was pumping. So, then the first girl tells me I'm going to have to wait until she's done pumping to get my order. I have no issues with women being able to pump in the workplace, good on Walgreens for accommodating her, but what I do have an issue with is how does only one person in the store know how to release an online order? Now there's someone at the front register, so the second girl went over there. And it's a return - that she doesn't know how to do. The manager comes out and the girl grabbed her to help ... knowing full well that I was over here at the photo counter waiting to leave with my package. The manager finishes there and then comes over, and the girl tells her that she needs to release my order. The manager took the package, asked for my ID and handed me my box. That. Was. It. There was no computer nothing that needed to be done. Just verify the person and give her the box. I was hanging out at Walgreens for a half an hour because someone, 2 someones actually, didn't know that to "release" an online order you check the ID and hand them the box. Super frustrating. It's a clean store. Easy, convenient location to get in and out of. Great deals and a fun seasonal inventory along with household supplies and food. And they have smokin' hot photo deals on the regular. However, they need to make sure that more people know how to do more things. Especially buy online pick up in store, that's gotta be something that more and more people are doing. read more

Frustrated with the rude staff in the pharmacy. I shared this with Allison, and she told me to go ahead and share. My prescription got rejected from my carrier, which has been covering my prescriptions for over a decade with Walgreens. In fact, I just picked up a prescription a couple of weeks ago from them. The staff didn't want to work with me and figure out why it was rejected, and when I said that I was going to take my business elsewhere, she told me to go ahead and do it. They also refilled the wrong prescription (1x a day instead of 2x a day, as the updated Rx is supposed to be). My insurance covered the 1x a day a couple of weeks ago, but bounced back the other one. This is a mistake on their part and they didn't want to fix it. They lost a long time customer. read more

We waited behind one car in the pharmacy drive thru for over 25 mins and sat on hold for 13 mins to get ahold of someone to help as our car was blocked by 2 cars behind us at this point. Awful service and a lack of care that this is a drive thru not a sit and wait line. read more

I'm really bothered by some of their pricing practices at this location. Routinely (and I waited till it happened 3 times before writing this review), they will put sale price tags in front of non-sale similar products to make you think they are on sale. When you get to the register, you either don't notice they ring up at full price, or you don't want to wait 5 minutes for a price check. This is consistently the case with the soda isle. Let's say Pepsi 2 liters are on sale (like they were today). They will literally COVER UP all the other full-price labels of the other drinks so all the way down - Pepsi, Diet Pepsi, A&W, Sprite, Mtn Dew, Coke, Dr. Pepper - all show the sale price. You need to look closely at the tag to match the SKU or product code to the original label, or look closely at the tiny printing to make sure you are buying PEP2LNR instead of PEPDT2LNR (the DT means Diet). They did this on the endcap products as well where the sale item doesn't even exist (but all the non-sale sodas do) and in the front of the store, where stacks of non-sale sodas brightly display the sale price for a different product. This is maddening, makes it take much longer to: verify the right item; find the actual price on the covered up items; and see if the item you want is on sale. There's no doubt this is done on purpose - it makes an entire aisle look great, everything's on sale, just pick what you want... when in reality only the product that covers 8 inches of space is actually on sale. read more

Passport photo seekers beware! Long story short, Walgreens will not retake passport photos that they messed up, so don't trust them to take your passport photo! Go to Costco or Walmart where they are cheaper. I had my daughter's passport photo taken at this Walgreens (Linder & McMillan). A couple months later, we went to city hall to apply for a passport only for city hall to say that they could not accept the photo because the head was tilted in the picture. I went back to Walgreens where they had taken the photo to ask them to retake the photo free of charge, which I understand is their practice. The photo employee named Pat came out with a "big" body stance and stiff spine asking if this was the Walgreens we took the picture in originally. It was. I said that I understood it didn't matter which Walgreens we went to. Pat didn't think so. Then Pat wanted to know what date we took the photo, and if it was not in the last 30 days, they would not honor retaking the photo. I walked out in great anger and frustration as I feel they have wasted my time and money by not holding to good customer business practices. I paid good money for a product I cannot use. I will be removing my consistent pharmacy accounts from Walgreens and will retake the passport photos at Costco where they are much cheaper and will stand behind their products. read more

Worst pharmacist ever! He thinks he is a doctor when he isn't. He will not fill your prescription if he doesn't agree with what the doctor prescribed. An then will threaten you an your doctor. He is all around rude. I will never be filling my prescriptions here again. read more
