Usually I am better prepared with medications in my epi pen case, but alas I was out of an over-counter medication and needed to make the nearest stop to grab supplies. Thankfully this location was clean, well-stocked, and opened a 2nd register to help clear the line. I greatly appreciate an effort like this as I really needed the medication and to allow time for it to work before a possible issue. DO NOT BELIEVE those Walgreens commercials! All the Walgreens commercials promising how helpful and pleasant Walgreens pharmacy/pharmacists are did hook me and I had my most recent RX sent to Walgreens. Wow! What a bad move, on my part. In spite of those baiting commercials, Walgreens hasn't changed in the least; gotten worse if anything. Still NO customer service. Still NO service with a smile. Still NO helpful dialog with the pharmacy/pharmacist. What a flippin' mess Walgreens CONTINUES to be. My RX was called in Friday afternoon. Saturday morning, I get a Walgreens email stating my RX is delayed because Walgreens wants my insurance data. I tried to get this remedied online AND via an online chat. NO help. NO success. I was told I had to call the pharmacy (??!!) which didn't open for THREE HOURS! I waited the 3 hours. Called them at 1010am. Told the pharmacist I was NOT using insurance, so when can I pick up my RX. Pharmacist stated to give him an hour. I did. We drove up to the drive-thru window at 1115am. We WERE NOT acknowledged by the pharmacy. Meanwhile, another vehicle pulled in behind us. Both cars were ignored. We waited; saw no one moving inside. So, we parked and went in. When my presence was finally acknowledged, I was called to the counter and I gave my name. THAT's when the less than helpful Walgreens employee stated, "We're still working on it." Which is when I stated, "Well, I called at 1010am and was told it would be ready in an hour. It's been over an hour." ONLY THEN did this employee actually LOOK for my RX. And what do you know? THERE IT WAS right there in front of the 2 of them, filled and in the filled bin! In fact, the pharmacy counter employee didn't even let me know the price was less than I was quoted. So when he gave me too much change, I told him. ONLY THEN did this employee show me the price was less. What the heck, Walgreens?? 1. Told me my RX wasn't done - without looking! 2. NO dialog AT ALL from the pharmacy employees. 3. NO friendliness from the pharmacy employees. 4. If they didn't want to work, WHY ARE THEY THERE? Walgreens, your pharmacy and employees haven't changed a bit for the better. In fact, Walgreens has gotten less friendly and less accommodating if anything. That's it for us, Walgreens. I had a huge issue with WALmart wasted 4 hours being sent to 3 'they do it' stores they do NOT in AZ..Fuji one time use cameras 'Walmart develops them' they DO NOT DO NOT...So a nice lady took my 2 cameras for developing off I went. A week later to pickup, I am greeted by I gather the 'shift leader' aka: asst. store manager. My 2 packages from 2 cameras had one price sticker. $15.99... for both. Inside one of the bags is a photo of my slip from the other roll. ie: each camera had the sticker the original lady printed...call them #1 and #2...but the #2 sticker was 'photoed by the chemical processing place and placed in with my photos'...the MESSAGE IN ENGLISH!!! we are fully aware that this many provided 2 cameras..guess what folks-- not a mystery. We the processor do want this guy to pay for ONE $15.99...long story short I had words and the store manager charged me $15.99....the other person had $$$$ other plans. The photos are nice. As for WalMart I will not EVER EVER again walk in to ANY Walmart store. they are condescending and inconsiderate. Walgreens has their act together and the photos were nice. This is the worst Walgreens ever. Not only are there sketchy people passed out, belligerent or half naked in the parking lot, the pharmacy staff is rude, they've messed up or not filled my Rx, and even gave me an Rx that my profile clearly stated I am allergic to. Unfortunately this is my nearest store so I go there often and it's a pretty consistent experience. The store staff has been nice, kind and helpful, but overall just avoid if you can...go to Safeway across the street. read more

I went there to drop off a Prescription for my cousin and they could not find her in the system and could not find the Insurance info. I had to run back home to get the insurance card and they told me they close at 10pm so I had plenty of time to get it and come back. I came back 10 minutes before the store closes and the Pharmacy is already closed! I had to drive to the Walgreens on Warner and Dobson to get it filled, I called them on the way there and they had no problem finding her info and the insurance and had it ready by the time I got there! They filled my significant other's meds at a Walgreens that is 1.5 hours away, then gave his medication to an unknown person, complete with his name, home address & prescribing doctor. A HUGE privacy concern. So what's he supposed to do now? His needed medications & personal information were given to a third party at an out of town store. I only go to Walgreens bc my insurance has a contract with them. I can honestly say that I have never ever had a single great experience at the pharmacy at this location. My prescriptions are constantly delayed, not ready, not in stock, and even after I get texts stating that they are ready when I show up to pick them up they tell me they're not ready and that it will be a wait. When I ask the pharmacist and pharmacy techs why this keeps happening they just say "uuh I don't know". I understand some things may be beyond their control but the customer service can be much better. I will be changing locations as there have been over 6 incidents like this in the last 2 months. Disappointed that this is the closest Walgreens/pharmacy to me. I've been here a few times and I'm always left feeling as though I've only burdened them with my money, support and business. First, when I check out, most of the time it's a man I believe to be the manager and I'm never acknowledged. No hello, no did you find everything okay, no thank you,no goodbye. Not even sure if he even looks up at me. I get bad days. But I've shopped here a few times and I'm not being overly dramatic when I say it's every time. Second, I've gone in after ordering photos online. Most of the time the photos turn out bad. It's a 50/50 chance. Anyways, not my complaint. My complaint is that I stood there for I don't know how long while I watched three associates look at me and walk the other direction. Rude! It happened so fast that I didn't have a chance to wave anyone down. And third. The pharmacist. What a guy. I asked to be called when it was ready. I verified my phone number which he seemed to be annoyed about. Never got a call back, went back in three hrs later and It was ready. He never asked if I've taken them before, just handed me the bag and walked off. He wasn't even busy. No one else around at least. Worst costumer service ever. Sad. I moved all 10 of my prescriptions to Walgreen because CVS's online ordering was a joke and I had to call in all the time because it wouldn't recognize an order, etc... So basically inefficient website. Now for my experience at Walgreens. Although their website ordering works fine they never have my prescriptions in stock when I reorder. This is getting so annoying because 2 of my RX's will be ready but not the 3rd. I transferred my prescriptions to Walgreens 3-4 months ago and I bet you when it came to refills there have been at least 6 that they didn't have READY in stock even though the RX has already been ordered once and is in system. So why are they always out of everything????? This better stop soon or I will go to a different Walgreens or give up Walgreens completely. read more

I'm giving this Walgreen's 5 stars for customer service. I went in, hoping to buy some laundry soap which on the Walgreens website was buy 1, get 2 free (ridiculously good deal!) One of the associates informed me that it wasn't on sale in the store and that the website/store sales are often different. Discouraged, I was about to leave when the employee encouraged me to speak with her manager. I certainly didn't think that this was necessary, but the employee buzzed her manager over anyway. The manager was really understanding and offered to honor the website sale for me. Oh my gosh, I was so pleasantly stunned. I had planned on buying like 6 bottles of laundry soap, but only bought 3 since the manager was so kind. Thanks for going above and beyond, ladies. I went in tonight and was accused of shoplifting by their employee Robyn, even though I had a receipt! I was told to wait while her and a manager looked over video footage for approximately 20 minutes, and did not even apologize for falsely accusing me! AVOID THIS LOCATION LIKE THE PLAGUE. I have a formal complaint that I will be filing with the Walgreens corporate staff during business hours tomorrow, and I do hope they respond accordingly. read more

This isn't regarding the staff. The staff is generally great. My issue is with the refilling of prescriptions. The time is generally quite long and the day and time including at 24 hour locations can be quite a pain especially if you're leaving out of town and need your meds during the trip. I personally will be switching providers as this has become quite an issue. Remember folks, there's tons of other reliable and receptive providers other than Walgreens out there. read more

This has to be by far one of the worst Walgreens ever! So someone stole by credit card information and went to Walgreens and purchased over $250 worth of items! I got the store information from my bank so I can file a police report! I called the store to get information from them as well as to inform them that one of their cashiers are not properly checking id when customers are using credit cards or one of their employees is in on the scam! I spoke to the shift manager and she was not only rude she told me she couldn't help call back in the Morning! You would think she would try and take a message but No.......she rushed me off the phone and hung up before I could even finish! Tomorrow Morning I will be at the store requesting video of the exchange and taking it to the police! I am aware that fraud happens but usually when you contact a store they try and help especially when an employee didn't bother to check the id! You guys make it so easy for fraud to be commited! Ok, so where do I begin. I guess this store and management is a joke. I had an incident where a old lady at the register carded me but did not card the man who was checking out in front of me. Here is the kicker....after she was rude and told me not to get an attitude after I offered to go grab my id in ny car, mind you in front of a customer, the so called supervisor Robbin came to the front and did absolutely nothing. I called and actually spoke to this so called supervisor and explained how the old lady cashier tried to chastize me in front of a customer until I told her not to EVER in her life address me in that tone or manner. Robbin was very unprofessional as well...when I called she placed the phone down without asking me to hold for over 2 minutes while I was explaining what happened...she then explains how she heard the other customer who was gossiping with the old lady cashier saying she implied, " ALL OF THIS BECAUSE OF AN ID"...did not surprise me because she seems to be in no positiin to supervise...I have noticed other complaints about this old cashier lady with obviously no professionalism or manners....Robbin then took my name and number and said the very next day a manager named Jose would call me and as I suggested "review the tapes" to see that the man, a different race than myself not only received decent service but was NOT asked for his id when purchasing Marlboro cigarettes....Nobody ever called...but its ok, I guess they though I was playing around when I said I knew higher ups in Corporate..but they will find out soon...I have also inquired of how to contact the news to ensure this discrimination does not happen at this store again....by the way, for the 7 months I have lived in this slum area coming from out of town, i have given this walgreens hundreds of dollars at least every 2 weeks. The only one who is nice and professional is the older caucasian man and the young guy with dandruff....he is so sweet and never seems miserable like that old lady....I feel bad for Robbin and This ficticous character Jose....even the old miserable unprofessional lady....smh...its a shame what not being professional will do....remember....ITS BOTH WHAT YOU KNOW AND WHO YOU KNOW...because of their lack of professionalism as a team, it is not going unnoticed!
