The pharmacist would not give me my medication because my doc didn't prescribe me lidocaine patches which cause a rash after having surgery on my shoulder and total disc replacement if I don't tell my doctor to prescribe me other medication that I don't need I can't get my pain medication. The pharmacist tells me there out of stock until I get my doctor to send a script for the patches. The main pharmacist tells me he will get under scrutiny from the dea unless I get the other things I don't need or don't work for my pain and causes side effects. I can get them and not use them which causes me to pay unnecessary fees the two car accidents that cause my pain made it so I can't work I have no money to pay for medication I don't need just to get my pain medication I was told this is there policy which seems illegal getting forced to pay for meds I don't need so now I have to go 24 hours without meds he wouldn't even give me my muscle relaxers. Does not provide good service what so ever. Each time that I call I'm provided with a different answer. The pharmacist and his staff are not friendly at all and are also big liars. They fill prescriptions for whom they want to and not provide an accurate explanation. read more

The worst. They billed my insurance on 8/26. As of 9/19, no meds. I called. We can have it tomorrow! really? You should have had it , oh, say when my insurance paid you for it. It arrives. I stop by Monday 9/23 at 9:20am and this dump isn't open during business hours. Call and leave an unreturned message. Called 9/24, and this dog excrement of a human answers and says that I'm lying about the previous day. I pulled the door handle and there was no human activity inside. Was previously picking up one prescription from chandler drugs. I will never do business with them again if possible. I was told by the pharmacy manager that I needed to change all prescriptions from CVS to chandler drugs or they could no longer justify filling my one prescription. In the middle of the height of the pandemic in Arizona, when AZ has the highest rate of COVID in the world, the pharmacist casually wears a mask below his nose. No surprise, the cashier did the same and then moved it all the way down to her chin. This is a pharmacy, their customers aren't always healthy and this total disregard for their health is unacceptable. read more

Chandler Drug is the the best pharmacy I have ever dealt with and they always have product. I have actually received messages from Walgreens stating my script is ready for pickup only to go there and it not be ready but they also don't have it in stock. That's a habit of Walgreens - not just a one off occurrence. Also you could never drop a script at Walgreens and have them tell you to take a seat it will be 5 min. Chandler Drug does that every time I bring a script in. The other day my mom was with me and she asked them to repeat that a couple of times because she couldn't believe her ears that they would have my script ready in 5 minutes. Chandler Drug is busy because they are good and they can accommodate busy because they are organized, caring, and professionals at running a business. I would really like to see this local business expand. They go above and beyond, and they can accommodate so support local first!!! read more

I love Chandler drugs. The owner is always friendly and has gone out of his way for me... when my medication wasn't in stock he paid a Currier to send it that day so I would have them! The wait is all of 5 minutes and he remembers who you are. It's really like having a friend who is a pharmacist. The prices are very good and there is never any hassle! read more

I went in to pick up an RX I needed filled. The Pharmacy aspect was fine. When I checked in I needed to sign for my Rx so I asked if the pen that has a very disgusting string attached to it had been sanitized she looked at me like I had 3 heads and said " I can sanitize now" she proceeded to apply hand sanitizer to her bare hands and then rubbed her hands on to the pen. I was in disbelief did Chandler Drugs forget we are in the middle of a pandemic or are they just neglectful and disregard their patients health? They have cameras everywhere so I'm sure this can be pulled up on their end if they have a hard time believing their employee did this. Please be aware when touching things inside the facility as it does not look like they care about sanitizing. read more

I drive out from North Phoenix to fill my prescriptions here. There is never a line or a long wait. They give me the best prices even compared to the large pharmacies like Fry's or Costco. The pharmacist makes extra effort to find discounts and coupons for my specific prescriptions. The customer service has been excellent! read more

Very fast. Helped me out w/ an insurance issue with them picking up this medication. I have Govt. insurance so I can't apply coupons. :( and it's expensive. Plus, no I've carried it regularly. They worked out the insurance, had it on hand, and got it all taken care of within a day after me trying to work with Walgreens Bashas and Costco for a week. Do not use or trust Chandler drugs. I receive an injection monthly that gets mailed to me. It is directed and supposed to be cold. When I received my shot four days after it was shipped it arrived hot. When I called and spoke to the pharmacist/manager he told me it was fine and to put it in the refrigerator for a few hours and then take it. This goes 100% against the medication manufactures instructions on storage. When I brought this up to him he got mad, rude and hung up on me. I had to report him to the board of pharmacy for unethical practices. If he is giving me bad instructions on storing medication and instructing me to take bad medication I could just imagine what he's telling people who aren't questioning him because he's a pharmacist. I could've got extremely sick if I injected myself with this medication like he instructed me to after it was bad. read more

Poor customer service. Not a single staff member I have spoken with has ever been courteous or helpful. They treat you as if there isn't any competition in the industry, they are the only pharmacy in AZ to choose from. I love this pharmacy! The staff are friendly, fast, and most importantly competent. You can either pick up your prescription or have it shipped with an ice pack. They apply coupons to specialty medications, if available, as opposed to the big-chain pharmacies who could care less if they can save you money. read more

My spouse has a pain management condition and CVS just does not understand if there is a delay on any medication, that could mean missing a dose. When we found Chandler Drugs and stopped supporting the BIG box Pharmacy guys with the complex rules that hurt customers more the help them. These guys are back to the basics and easier to deal with. Knowing I am supporting a local company also helps me think my money is going back to the community. We left CVS because of these reasons. -"First come, first served", when pain management medications come in. -"You can not drop these prescriptions off that early. We will not have them till 2 days from now." -After a year using the same doctor suddenly was told, "Your Headache Management Dr can not prescribe these meds to you" The Dr in question have been doing headache management for AZ for over 20 years and still practices today. -Sign posted at all drive through says you can call in and give them a heads up what you need. This has never worked. Go ahead and call a CVS to try it. -"We can not tell you over the phone what we have or what other stores have." In reference to finding pain management medication. read more

I have used Chandler Drugs now for 3 years and I have had nothing but good service. I have moved out of the area and Chetan Khatri, pharmacy manager, still beats the local price where I am now! He even beats the mail order pharmacies. He calls me to check on my needs and sends my meds to me asap. I have never seen any rudeness or unprofessionalism. He always checks with me on price, since I am a medicare patient. He has helped me manage my scrips, as to the medicare gap (The Doughnut Hole). I was not impressed at all. He told me that my insurance did not cover Niacin, and sweet talked me into paying over $98 for a 30 day supply because my cholesterol was out of control and needed immediate attention! After about 20 minutes of trying to figure out what to do, what route to take, I bit the bullet and paid for the 30 day supply. Later I took his meds to Target.....Target RX would have charged me $3.72 for 100 pills.
