My friends and I took a trip out west and chipped in for a disposable camera to take some cool pics. Not only did Walgreens take a month to develop these, but they completely ruined some great pictures that cannot be recovered. The man at the counter was nice, but when your pictures look like 1920's quality photos and are cut in half, you gotta be a little disappointed. Whatever drugs you were on when developing these, I need some of those. Would not recommend getting photos developed here. read more

What an absolute joke of a pharmacy. They aren't open on the weekend now and it would be nice if you decided to close at 6 that you let everyone in the car line that has been waiting for 15 minutes. Do not purchase any dairy products from this location. I bought a gallon of milk, and it went bad in 2 days. The temp. in my refrigerator is 33 degrees. Theirs is "lukewarm". The expiration date was not for another week. So, I got my receipt and took it back. The "NIGHT MANAGER" refused to accept an exchange or refund, because I had opened the bottle. How would I know if it was bad had I not opened the jug? He also asked if I was Educated? WTH? I will never set foot in the store I frequented once upon a time. The NIGHT MANAGER is absolutely useless, and lazy. He threatened to call the police because I was insisting on an exchange. Never again. The worst pharmacy ever. I have been a customer here for 25 years and it has steadily worsened over the years. Enough that I have finally sat down to write a review to warn everyone who is considering using them. I called in my prescription and they said it would be ready the next day. The next day I received an email that it was delayed for a few days. A few days went by and no word so I checked the status and they said I had no order on file. So I finally drove to the pharmacy because they were not answering my call. When I got to the pharmacy and waited in line they finally said "that medication is on back order and don't know when it will be in". What? Thanks for letting me know. And I also learned, this pharmacy is now closed on Saturdays. What? This is the worst pharmacy ever. Beware and choose somewhere else that actually cares to tell you they can't get your medication. read more

There is a cashier that works in the front. I can't remember her name, but she is the most judgmental person I have ever encountered. She makes smart and nasty remarks under her breathe and she feels very comfortable saying how she feels about what you are buying. I know everyone is understaffed and short on help, but having her be a representative of your company is not a good look. I will not be back at this store. read more

This is a 24 hr Walgreens (pharmacy until 10pm ) and they feature a Senior Citizen's day discount which are a plus but you need to plan when to visit. During the day and early evening it is virtually impossible to navigate to and from. It is located at the corner of Shelbyville rd and Evergreen in Middletown. If you turn on Evergreen traffic is backed up to the light so good luck turning into the lot. Next choice is to go past it and do an illegal turn on Shelbyville Rd to access the other entrance (BTW Police station is at the next light on Juneau Rd). I had a problem with a charge for certain items this week. The store called and set up an appointment the next day to go over it with a manager. He was very courteous and quickly resolved the issue. Keep in mind it takes 24 hours for pending transactions to be processed and reflect in your bank account statement. read more

This is a fairly typical Walgreens that of course has a full pharmacy and offers many other things such as cosmetics, photo printing, some food items, paper goods, greeting cards, small gifts, and more. The store is located in Middletown on the corner of Evergreen and Shelbyville Road. I have used this location to obtain my flu shot for the past two years and have been pleased with the process. Each time the staff has been courteous and the wait has been less than 5 minutes. The shot is given by a pharmacist and then you receive a cool 'Flu Fighter' bandaid! Ha! This last visit was during Covid and I was impressed by the measures taken within the store. Masks were required to enter, and all employees that I saw were wearing masks (appropriately, not down around their necks!). Hand sanitizer was available on a table at the store entry, and at the pharmacy check in/checkout area, and at the front checkout counter. The store has always been well-stocked and clean and upon entering I have always been greeted by the nearby cashier. The 5th star is withheld due to the difficulty in getting in and out of the store's parking lot. To exit out of the store's lot, one must make a left onto Evergreen, which is IMPOSSIBLE and can take 5-15 minutes or more during peak during peak hours. read more

I hate to admit it but I visited this Walgreens on a whim. No, to be brutally honest I visited this Walgreens when I had an emergency need of finding a public restroom. I was in the area on business when I got a sudden stomach ache. What's a girl to do when she can't spot a fast food restaurant to run into. I spotted this Walgreens when I was sitting at the intersection of Evergreen Rd and Shelbyville Rd. It was worth a try. I parked right outside the front door and entered in a panic. I kindly interrupted the checkout clerk who promptly and politely gave me directions to the restroom. Yeah, I found a restroom and it was large, clean and handicap accessible. I was so thankful that after my appointment down the street I returned to this Walgreens to shop. It had a nice selection of gifts, toiletries, cards. etc. I had seen an ad in a diabetic magazine for Almased diet product that was carried at Walgreens. I asked one of the employees and she showed me exactly where it was. She also said she had used it and described bluntly the taste and texture. After her honesty and seeing the price I decided I didn't need this product. I did find an eclectic assortment of gifts to buy. Thanks Walgreens for two positive experiences in one day. I've visited this Walgreens to take a biometric screening is at their health clinic. My insurance pays for it, and reward me with points I can turn into gift cards for health habits and completing screenings like this done. The clinic was easy to find - it's in Middletown on the corner of Evergreen and Shelbyville Rd. When I arrived, it was easy to find the back corner with the health clinic. I saw the woman sitting in an office at a computer, she was on the phone so I waited patiently at the door. As I stood there, another man came up and begin clicking on a touchscreen to my right. Moments later, the woman at the desk turned around took knowledge me saying she'd be with me in a moment, and asking if I had checked in. Apparently you have to sign-in using those touch screens. So, the guy was able to jump ahead of me (since he technically signed in first). I think some more clear signage about how to get checked in would be nice. I was concerned about time because I had another appointment scheduled at 5:30. (The guy jumping me pushed me to 5:15). The lady, Diane at the health clinic was super friendly. She apologized for the guy jumping ahead of me and said we could get my screening done pretty quickly. She drew some blood, weighted and measured me, printed out and when over my results really efficiently. Though we were going fast, I could tell she was making sure to get all the necessary information, so she didn't miss a beat! I was very impressed. I think the appointment took maybe 13 minutes. They forwarded my results to my insurance electronically and all in all I was a happy camper. I'd return to this health clinic. read more

I would give negative stars if I could! I just met the rudest, nastiest person I can remember- a pharmacy tech here. Young girl, caked on makeup who seemed pissed that she was there. I needed help with a prescription they filled and I think she would have rather stabbed me in the face than answer my questions. She pounded on the keyboard so hard she must have been mad at it, too. I enjoy stopping here to look at all the gadgets they have. They get a supply of them for every holiday and the battery operated animals that dance and sing and do goofy little things are so funny. First let me explain my condition and needs! I have rheumatoid arthritis throughout my entire body! For anyone who has this condition they will tell you it is very painful and unsettling. My only relief is hot baths, massage and the pain medication that my doctor prescribes. The medication is a controlled substance so it is strictly monitored. No early refills! I can only have the prescription filled on the date written on the script and I must get a new hand written script each month! There are no refills available. Which brings me to Walgreens today 4/10/2016, Sunday. My latest script fell on a Sunday! Worse possible day of the week to get a script filled because most pharmacies that even open on a Sunday do not open until 10am or later. However, this particular Walgreens Pharmacy is open 24/7. I take my medication 4 times a day: 7am, 1pm, 7pm & 1am. I recently switched from CVS to Walgreens because of the 24/7 hour service meets my medication needs. My script was due to refill on 4/10/2016. I went to the pharmacy at 1am on 4/10/2016 to get my script filled. The pharmacist refused to fill it. His excused was that I could not get 'early' refills! Even though the script was written for 4/10/2016 the pharmacist refused to fill it and said I had to come back in the morning and he wasn't very pleasant about it either. Bitter and uncaring about my needs and condition! I did not understand this, but I left and came back at 7:30am 30 minutes past my 2nd Dose of the day! As soon as I walked up to the counter the pharmacist said he was not going to fill my script until after 9:18am! Now I'm mad! Where the hell did 9:18am come into play? Frustrated and angry, I pointed out that there was no time stamp on this script and it only stated no to be refilled until 4/10/2016. Again, he refused! I demanded he call the lead pharmacist, he said this person would be here in 30 minutes and I would have to wait! He wouldn't call! The man was a bitter jerk with no compassion what so ever! I stated that I had made a mistake switching to Walgreens and with a smart ass attitude the pharmacist replied,"maybe you did!" I took my script and told him he was a 'dick' and went to cvs downtown who filled it in less than 10 minutes! If you want compassionate people fulfilling your medical needs DO NOT BRING YOUR BUSINESS HERE! I AM VERY DISSATISFIED WITH WALGREENS!TOMORROW I PLAIN TO SWITCH BACK TO CVS! If you think a pharmacist should care and be compassionate with its patients, then don't shop at this one because you won't get it! COLD CRUEL AND RUDE!!! read more

I had an awful experience with the Healthcare Clinic today. I had never been there before but my regular doctor's office was closed. I arrived at 12:15 to have a minor ear issue checked. I signed in and could see that there was a man and a couple in front of me to be treated. After waiting a reasonable amount of time - maybe ten or fifteen minutes, the triage nurse called me back, took my vitals and got my basic information. She sent me back to wait, telling me there were three patients in front of me, and it would be about fifteen minutes. I knew from the conversation I had overheard while waiting that the couple was getting a vaccination, and when I got out of triage, the man was already being seen. I waited and waited, and eventually the couple was called. With the couple in the office, the nurse practitioner came out and went into the triage room, and in matter of seconds the nurse told me that the NP would be going to lunch and it would be another hour before she would see me. After having been told fifteen minutes and then waiting (patiently and quietly) for an hour, I was brushed off like a fly on a horse. So I wasted an hour and forty five minutes waiting at that place, and if I wanted any care it would be two hours and forty five minutes - minimum. Does the NP have the right to lunch? Absolutely. However patient's time is not just something to discard like an old used lunch bag. I wonder if she feel's the same way about a patient's pain as she does their time? Actually I'm glad I was not treated by this healthcare "professional", who looked right at me, and walked on deciding it was time for lunch. read more

I received a message that I had 2 prescriptions ready to pickup. A friend went to get them, but was told it was too early, insurance wouldn't pay for them. I called them the next day to find out what happened. I told the pharmacist about the message I got, but she didn't care. When I told her my current prescription bottle said I picked them up on a different day last month, she started smarting-off because that's the date it was filed, not picked-up. How was I supposed to know that? I don't put it on my calendar when I pick up med. After she was finished smarting-off, I repeated back to her what I thought she said. I was on a cellphone, not the greatest connection. Then, she continued with her attitude. When I asked her if she was telling me what I thought she had said, she said that's not what she's telling me, that's the way it is, that's what happened. I wasn't challenging what she said, I was making sure I understood. Damn, what an attitude on a woman. Something very similar has happened before at this particular Walgreens in Middletown.
