I come here too often with little to no issues - it's time to update my review and give them a 5 star. It's easy to book vaccines online for myself and other family members. Adding up to 3 types of shots is available. The automated system sends me a text and email confirmation. I also get a reminder beforehand to remind me what time and where to check in. Today I was immediately acknowledged and pointed to the chair for shots. Within 10 minutes I had been vaccinated, put on a brave sticker to celebrate, and received a store coupon. Pick up of meds has also been great. I rarely go through the drive thru. My preference is to park and go inside. I see how many folks are hustling to fill the orders, answer phones, and take care of store customers. When my prescription has been filled I also get text reminders. I so appreciate this because it's easy to forget meds. Private parking lot and fairly easy in and out. read more

Set appts for both Covid booster and flu shot same day/time to avoid multiple trips. Arrived and was told "we're out of flu shots" which would have been nice to know ahead of time. Then asked if I had my CDC card (which after my second shot had laminated to avoid damage to it). Nope, as I brought what was specifically mentioned (in pic). Not a very good process. I now have to make a second trip when I would have just rescheduled had I been notified of being out of one of the vaccines. Also need to do a better job of docs needed, thankfully they at least just gave me another card for Covid booster...but still have to make another trip due to being out of flu vaccine. read more

This Pharmacy has the worst customer service I have ever seen, not only for CVS locations, but any pharmacy. I have been coming here for about 6 months because I figured maybe every time I came in they were having a bad day, so I kept giving them chances. They never have any answers to your questions and don't even do the bare minimum when it comes to customer satisfaction, let alone going "above and beyond". They won't alert you when your medication is out of stock, but still send you a message that your medication is ready for pick up. When I ask Why? I never get a straight answer. I was told maybe I should try going to Target by the lady that was going to ring me up in the Pharmacy. Like what?? When I asked if they could call other CVS in the area to make sure they had the medication before calling my doctor to transfer the prescription I was told "No, you're going to have to figure it out!" They have zero sympathy or empathy. Listen to the other reviews and beware....Just go ANYWHERE else. read more

I moved around the corner from this pharmacy 4 years ago, tried to move my drugs here and really wanted to like the place because they were walking distance from my new home. Absolutely hated it. Unorganized, bad service, no one there when the store was supposed to be open. It was awful. I could go into lots of detail about the ways they were bad, but I won't because this is meant to be a good review! But they really were the worst store ever. Recently a neighbor told me she used them and never had any trouble. I decided to give them another try and I have been absolutely amazed. There has been a total transformation. The service has been awesome. And friendly! The only reason they didn't get 5 starts is that they wouldn't transfer my prescriptions because Walgreens never answers their phone. But I get it because that's one of the reasons I left Walgreens. With CVS you have the option of leaving a message AND they call back! I've been using that pharmacy since I retired six months ago and have not had a single bad experience. Not just not bad thoough, they have actually been stellar. There are some little things I'd change, but honestly I think they have gone from worst to best. I look at those January and March reviews and I think "are we talking about the same place?" So just to be sure - I'm talking about the CVS at the corner of Shelbyville Rd and Moser Rd. Friendly, helpful staff in the pharmacy at least. Terrible pharmacy. I've been going here for 10 years and it didn't start this way - in the past few years it just got worse. And here recently when you call they don't even answer it goes straight to voicemail and they decide to call you back. So you could have a simple question (because it isn't provided in the app) and they don't even have anyone answering phones. Very frustrating. One day I showed up at 9:00 am when they open and the workers showed up at 9:15 - there was a line forming already. It's obvious they need leadership and/or more manpower. This is by far the worst cvs I've been to. The drive through window was closed both times i came here, even though the hours state they should be open. Pharmacy is extremely slow, had to go inside to get prescription. If you have the option use another cvs, theirs hours are limited. I am unsure what the root cause of the issue is with this pharmacy, but it has declined heavily in quality in the last few years. Something that really strikes me as concerning is how quick they are to threaten to not fill your prescription if you contest anything they say. The pharmacy was giving me the run around about a prescription that I had received a text advising was ready, but the pharmacy tech didn't believe me. When I showed them the text they just glared at me in silent anger and proceeded to advise me that I should fill my prescription elsewhere. I didn't curse, insult, or raise my voice, all I did was disagree with what they were saying, but that was enough to set them off I suppose. This location is very convenient for me, however, because of repeat issues I am going do as the pharmacy tech advised and have my prescriptions filled elsewhere, as I don't think it's going to get any better anytime soon. I do want to note that I did have luck calling their customer support line though, when I explained the situation they called the pharmacy and sorted it out and gave me all of the information I needed, which was great, I just wish the pharmacy had been able to do that in the first place. read more

This pharmacy needs to be shut down. I have used this location for years and has been become negligent and unable to fulfill duties. BBB needs to be notified. Prescriptions called in never get filled. The pharmacy just randomly closes whenever. I have waited literally hours in line recently and still never received my medications. Dear god. If you are sick or need medication ASAP, stay away from this location!!!! A lot of us have been waiting in this line for over 2 hours. I was finally the 3rd car in line when they had to close at 1:30 for lunch!!!!!! So many people left without even getting their medication. 2 hours (no hyperbole) waiting in the drive thru line to get my prescription. Gas is $5 a gallon and they close the inside and force you to sit and spend $15 in gas to get your $2 prescription. I have stopped into this CVS on multiple occasions and I want to like it due to its proximity to my home, but each time I leave disappointed. Seldom do they have any of the products that I am needing in stock. If this had happened once I could understand, but it seems to be the rule rather than the exception. It is sad because the employees are super friendly and seem to care about helping you and there are awesome coupons from CVS and a really good loyalty program. This last trip they did not have the face cream I was needing, either of the two brands of deodorant that I can wear, or the toothpaste that I wanted. I'm going to look for another CVS to try and see if I have better luck. read more

This location is so bad that went out of my way to leave this review. I called ahead to pick up a prescription of diabetic test strips and was told that they had enough to fill my order and that it would be ready very Shortly. i go to the gym to kill some time and then head to the store to pick up my prescription to find out it hasn't been completed yet And was told it would be about 30 min. I said ok and decided to come back the following day. the next day comes along and i go inside to pick up my prescription that Was supposed to be read in 30 min the previous day To find out not only do they not have my prescription, they also don't have ANY test strips at all! Of course this is a huge issue because i was told you all had my prescription the day before and that it would be ready in 30 min. I gave them a full 24 hours to do what they asked 30 min for and only to find out they don't have what they said they did. the manager (whom i spoke with once i personally came into the store) had a terrible attitude and could not explain to me why i was told they Had my prescription or where the supplies had went and suggested i go to another store. If i could rate lower than a 1 star review i promise i would, and based on other reviews it doesn't look like im alone. read more

This place is the worst!!! It stinks. Not a friendly pharmacy staff. You have to wait forever in the drive thru line, all of the time. I had a terrible time setting up my mom's prescriptions on auto refill. It took months to get it right!!They never answer the telephone. If they do answer they don't bother to tell you everything you need to know! I called to have a summary of my mother's drugs printed, so I wouldn't have to wait in line, employee said it would be printed and waiting for me to pick up. After two years of getting 7 prescriptions a month filled here one would think these people would know me by now! I arrived 30 minutes after opening to find 6 pharmacy employees behind the counter filling prescriptions! The counter girl took my script and told me it would be 30 minute to fill 1 single order! I looked left! I looked right! I looked behind me! Not a customer in the store except for me! 30 minutes? Ok, I'll sit and wait! 5 minutes later, she walks up to me and asks, "have you ever filled prescriptions here before?" I reply, "Only 7 prescriptions a month for two years!" She claims,"I can't find you in the computer!" She looks down at the script I gave her with my name clearly printed on it, "Is your name Norton?" I respond frustratedly, "No! It's Horton!" I'm all about customer service and if you can't remember my name after 4-5 visits a month over two years, then I'm not getting the service I deserve from employees that just don't take interest in their customers! This place makes me wait, while they fill phone orders for people not even in the store! I'm sorry but your customer service is well below the standards I expect! I had the counter girl return my written prescription, I drove down the street to Walgreens who filled it in 10 minutes and there was only 1 employee present at the time! I have approximately 12 prescriptions per month and they're scattered all over the weeks so I'm up there every week sometimes twice a week picking up prescriptions I get surveys almost every time I go there and I always put on the survey filthy store there will be trash laying on the floor which is carpet 2' x 2' squares In the same spot two weeks running and also I can barely get down the isles we have so much stuff for sale which is mostly junk in the way of walking down to get to the pharmacy in the back of the store and only want to make money and try to sell as much as I can I can appreciate that they do you have coupons a lot but I cannot get past the dirty filthy floors. Never been clean since I've been going there scrubbed like overnight have somebody come in and clean them. As far as the pharmacy goals they are some really nice people and their some look like they're on their deathbed can hardly move way way overweight and when they walk they waddle I do not want to pick on this person obviously they need the job more than they need to be at home taking care of her self but it goes along with some of the other people and I could hear them from the front of the store before I get to the back to so loud it's not professional at all there are seats in the back I'll be here for the very people in line and only one person helping the customers but the drive-through is sailing through I've never use the drive-through I have enough problems being there in person I can't imagine picking up drive-through then drive home and look at the bag and it's wrong I try to do that while I'm there at the store and it has been wrong before they over prescribe my medicine that my doctor but the pharmacy gets it mixed up and I'll have two months of one item and then I'll have another item that out I'll run out and I have to go up physically tell them and I'm supposed to be on a refill automatic. Doesn't work. Are used to go to Walgreens that's where my insurance had me gone and I loved it Clean store they go out of their way to help me. I went to Kroger's pharmacy same thing my insurance company made me go there but they were great convenient I could pick my groceries up and go to the pharmacy and they paid you extra points on their fuel I would always get a dollar off on my gas per gallon but my insurance had me go to CVS next year I'm going to change my insurance so I don't have to go to CVS anymore it's not worth it. I wished whoever reads these at the headquarters would pass it on and listen to some of us that are complaining and fix it I know people it's gone there and quit going because of the same thing that I'm going through it's not good for your business and I owned a business and if somebody doesn't tell you what's right or wrong then you won't know what to fix. I want to CVS to survive it's good for business people are employed there I want people to work. I have no skin in the game for all these pharmacies anywhere I'm retired and I could care less where I go but I want to go win and not get a infection I'm just going into the store trip or something in the Al are use a cane to get through . They don't answer the phone, still, and their pharmacists are not trained on the basic services they offer. I have Caremark insurance and will be looking to transfer my script elsewhere. This is legitimately the worst CVS pharmacy I've ever had to experience. They flat out don't pick up the phone... I had to drive over there to talk to the pharmacy staff after 30 minutes of waiting on hold... pharmacy wasn't even busy. Then they were rude and couldn't figure out my insurance and I ended up leaving without my medication because they couldn't be bothered to try and sort through it. That's just one example. It's the norm for them to not answer the phone and for patients to be waiting on hold for over 20 minutes. Additionally, they're usually out of stock on any medication you'd need... you're really better off not wasting your time and just getting it filled at another CVS nearby since there's a really good chance they won't have medication in stock anyway (God knows they take their sweet time with everything, so I wouldn't expect them to be urgent about getting it in stock to fill). read more
