Place is a joke! Put on hold for almost an hour for medication's that my Dr. called in for me. I called back & i'm listening to music and saying their dealing with other customers. For 45 minutes?? I was so aggravated, I went down there to see the pharmacists talking and laughing it up. I asked the clown behind the counter. What's the deal? I've been put on hold for 45 minutes only to come in and see you girls laughing it up. Her response was, oh we were busy, but we're getting ready to go on lunch break. I called them a fking bunch of useless assclowns. They don't care! People are waiting for medication's for a long time and these idiots are laughing behind the counter. 07.29.25 ... I cannot believe this place is allowed to operate as a pharmacy. Repeatedly have the same issues with scripts "dropping " and not being in the system. This was the 2nd time in 2 weeks I was notified via the app and NUMEROUS automated phone calls saying my scripts were ready for pick up...insulin...blood pressure...waited 8n line 40 mins today to be told they dont have ANY of the 3 in their system...even though they practically stalked me to tell me they were ready for pick up. The pharmacy in LongNeck location in Delaware is all of a sudden absolutely abysmal. I have been put on hold trying to find out the status of a prescription delay. Friday, Saturday and Sunday now holding for up to 50 minutes and yesterday and today up to 30. If you finally get through to a person they ask you to hold and then the call a few minutes later is terminated. I will never get a prescription from them again. I won't even buy a pack of gum there. How do I begin. The shear incompetency and disregard of human life Walgreens has is lack of a better word hideous, animalistic, down right brutal which happens to be a few words. I have never in my life been treated so poorly from a group of human beings as well as an entity before. Walgreens shame on you for being a multi billion dollar company $105.6 billion to be exact to treat humans like crap. The pharmacy at the Millsboro, DE location located on John J Williams Highway can be best interpreted as some of you uneducated people may not understand as author Dante Alighieri's classic the Divine Comedy Inferno. It is in fact the nine circles of hell. If you know anything about this story you know that Dante in fact is guided through the circles of hell by the Roman poet Virgil but instead of Virgil you are guided by a fluorescent illumination and stained laminate floors. I myself had a prescription sent to above said Walgreens on the previous Wednesday a day before a Holiday which I was planning to pick up that Saturday do to work conflict. I pull up to the drive thru window give the lady my information and she said "sorry meds not covered by insurance its $200," I said absolutely not and left. I called my doctor on Monday morning and she said that's weird they say they are covered. Here is the kicker had to find out from my insurance company, Walgreens is a non maintenance store meaning if you get a prescription filled there after 2 refills for 30 day supplies they will not refill it again. Its still covered by your insurance technically they are just a bunch of liars and simply wont tell you the truth. Flash forward after a bunch of hair pulling I arrive at Walgreens, When I pulled up to this establishment in my 2014 silver Ford Escape I was astonished at the line in the drive thru as well as the packed parking lot. I then walked into Walgreens to a loud speaker that screamed "help at the photo counter" or something to that effect. I proceeded to go to the counter where I was greeted by a long line of patrons waiting for their turn to get their medications. I stood in that line for what it seemed like 45 minutes waiting. Every response out of the one cashiers mouth was "sorry we do not have it in stock," meaning the medication or "you will have to wait another 20 minutes for it to be ready." It was fatefully then my turn and he said with a stutter "it will be on the truck tomorrow between 12:30-3:30." I angerly walked out. I then proceeded to call them the next day being today and sat waiting on hold for 20 minutes after an automated machine jerked me around for about 10 minutes. I then was met with a lady do not remember her name and do not care to at this point in time told me " no the meds will be there on the truck tomorrow." I said that's insane pony tail stutter man said it would be here today. I told the lady with your stupid two refill policy and incompetency I am now out of meds that I need to survive. I let the lady know she is very lucky to be still employed and that she should delete my entire profile from the system because in fact Walgreens can kiss my stark white pale ass. This is not the first time this company has pulled this bullshit with me and these life saving meds. I bet they do this with every elderly person that needs life saving meds. If the world did not have so much red tape to jump through than maybe it would be a lot safer for all of us. I truly wish big Pharma a massive FUCK YOU you are killing people. Walgreens on DuPont highway in Millsboro is the absolute worst! NO ONE answers the phone! After waiting 20 mins. for someone to pick up the phone - they answered and hung up on me! I called back and asked to talk to the Store Manager.... I was connected to their number ---- NO ONE answered the phone. I called back - "Oh Store Manager is out sick today!" AWFUL - do not go there! In addition - they take way too long to get medications in. Even the store in SOuth CArolina, took days to get some meds in! read more

I reside between 2 Walgreens. This is second time visiting this store. The other night I arrived at 7pm I was the only only one in store. The check out counter is directly in front of door. I was there shopping for about 45 minutes. when I approached the check out the cashier said cash only ! No apologies no explanation. just our machines hasn't worked all day! I went to the "other" Walgreens store one day later , they were friendly, and helpful . My purchase was 300.00 which included digital coupons . I Used my care credit to pay. The next day I had to return 4 items , and do a FedX drop off . I was close to the 1st store so decided to pop in make my exchange snd go. After 20 minutes of the cashier trying to scan my items, she looked up , and said, "we can't return these ". I questioned her refusal to give me credit she ignored me cut me off said . appalling, to have to engage with this level of arrogance. Walgreens customer service is horrible. I will Never return !!! Never have I had these experiences at CVS . read more

Absolutely the slowest, worst customer service. Go elsewhere for your vaccine / booster. Had to wait in Rx pickup line 45+ minutes even with appointment. Why issue appointment times if you don't have staff to do the work? Showed up ten minutes before appointment time; got vaccine 80 minutes late. Horrible experience. read more

The Worst Walgreens I Have Ever Visited The staff at this location have little or no customer service skills. Often rude and always inefficient. I have waited for hours to have a prescription filled only to be told we forgot to notify you it was ready. Or my favorite, after being notified a prescription was ready when I got to the store I was told oh our machine sometimes makes a mistake your prescription is not ready and you will need to wait another 45 minutes or so. Lot's of choices for pharmacy pick up, I would choose somewhere else read more

i was denied a military discount after showing two forms of ID. According to the manager Corporate will only honor active duty or retired. She said they are only authorized to honor the green geneva convention cards. To my knowledge the Department of Veterans Affairs issues an American Flag card. I have a DAV license plate but that didnt matter. She denied the discount. Its not the 10% im concerned about ...i think if you are going to offer a military discount you should not only offer to retired or active.....some of us do not have a choice not to serve...i receive disability and can not serve anymore. read more
